The bossman is making good progress, it shows, what you gonna plant on that farm? And on a sidenote farmers feed the world, people overhere in europe finally get the picture, thanks Brian greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Bob, looking at the work you've done on that field shows how good of an operator you are. Funny, both you and Doug Larson are expert heavy equipment operators in all equipment. And you enjoy it! Brian, be happy your bride enjoys spending time in the tractor with you.
Awesome video, you guys work your butts off. I am so impressed by how hard your family works. As a country we need to respect the hard working family farmers first! without the heartland we would be so screwed.
In my opinion you have won the lottery! Big green tractor, wife that wants to ride tratters with you everything you could wish for! You said you are out of dry fields. We have not had any measurable rain this year, dry like a popcorn fart. Soil is so dry that even plowing is a challenge!
Farming is so different than when I was a kid. I learned to run a disc on a old Farmall when I was 8. My family ran a vegetable farm but we had cotton and soybeans all around us. We used to farm cotton when my dad was growing up but stopped about 5 years before I was born. Every farmer used to till every inch of ground in the spring before planting season. I really miss the smell of the freshly tilled soil in the spring, there is simply nothing like it.
Love watching when your beautiful wife is a part of the filming. Glad to see spring is almost here and looking forward to green grass and leaves on the trees.. Have a good spring.
Brian seems like your Dad is enjoying his toys. That's awesome!! When are you going to turn Kayla loose behind the wheel. Lol!! Great content as always, keep the action coming. Definitely seeya at the next one. Stay safe!!
That small cleanup work at the end is a pain, we use a 3 foot root rake on our 160c excavator with a mechanical thumb. Works great for the end cleanup.
When you pointed out Kaylas' sweatshirt and started talking YANKUM, I immediately thought that might be a bit harsh on Kayla. When the word ropes finally registered it all made sense. Bob, you need some rippers on the back of Daisey Mae for those roots.
Bob,,,, on the tiller of Daisy Mae, its got a bearing in it for left and right turning… I had that bearing lock up on me one time topping a 20ft bank on a curve,,,, I panicked and drove off the slope instead of stopping 🤣 it was soft because I had t worked the slop yet. So if it’s tight, you can replace that hole thing. And it will work flawlessly then 👍🏼
a little heads up put in some lucking pin on the pins you move to change the angal on the gangs cus if you lose the plate that holds or covers the pins and you lift the wings you will lose the pins ask me how i know lol had to wait 3 weeks to get a new plate and pins
I'm surprised that you aren't running a rolling basket or packer behind that VT. We run a 40 foot landall VT and a brillion packer together they leave a smooth seedbed . We also run a 50 foot field cultivator with another brillion packer as well . We VT the corn stalks and run the cultivator across the soybean stubble and rye cover crop. We decided to till 90 percent of our acres this spring . Our yields are higher if we do so shallow tillage vs notill. Great work!
Bob a tree puller on a skidsteer works great for the roots and small stuff . It's definitely the hardest part of cleaning up I've tried box blades works OK but way to much dirt .
Great views when you were turning the camera when it was on the disk. I would be interested to see soil samples done on the ground you guys have taken the tree off before a crop gets planted. Be interested to see how the soil is after 10-15 years of no farming and trees on it!!!
Morning Brian, talking about diesel prices. Imagin the gallon at 9 $. Welcome to Germany 🤮. The government takes 60 % of that. It's a joy to fuel up ⛽ greetings from Southern Germany ✌️
You are one lucky family. I see a lot of love all around. Nice variety of content in the video. Always a lot of educational value. You need a lot of intelligence and business acumen to be farmers and farmettes in todays environment. Like to have seen more of the dozers clearing. How many tillable acres were gained after clearing? Looking forward to the house construction. As always, quality video.
Need to get that chisel they used in California almond orchard to cut up them roots. See bales hay or Mellenial farmers videos. You may need a larger cat
Glad you could take wife to work. My career was a utility lineman, she got to experience an ice storm restoration at home, get home at 11:00 pm and back to work at 6:00 am. For 10 days. That’s when you know you married up.
Kayla is the prettiest co pilot I have every seen.you lucky devil! Love the videos!
2:26 that video is so calming and soothing.
Thanks for watching
Sure is a lot easier to clear ground than it was when we were young. I'm glad to see you guys getting started farming for 22. Bless you all
Enjoy the new camera. Nice full picture.

The boss works himself pretty hard!! Nice too see some dirt work starting! It’s snowing in Ontario as I type this!
Glad to see that you and Kala spend some quality time together
Thank you for the videos
That YANKUM system is the best thing going. I'm retired now but from what I see how it works , everything it can do is just plain amazing.

Brian does love his new 360 camera ... looks good

We had a manure spreader and avert school I had to fill it using a wheelbarrow and shovel ! FUN !
Thanks for letting us see what you do👍👍👍✌️

I personally would have just said I was testing the safety feature... lol glad to see spring is coming soon.
Great video! Snowing in central NY!
Great Video Brian, interesting discussion about VT and the reasons why
Your soil appears to be working up nice a mellow, makings of a great growing season.
Hello! First day, fun all the way...
Nothing tests a man's patience more than when something should just work and the wife is right there and says do you know what you're doing?
@Eric E yep a ball of energy 4 year old.
It's worse with you wife because you know she knows better. A kid you have better luck reasoning with a wall.
“Do you even know what you’re doing?” is my go-to when I want to annoy Brian 🤣🤣. Oops
@@kaylabrown8519 you probably hit poor Brian while he is down with the "are you sure?" 🤣 Sorry Brian 🤣🤣
@@kaylabrown8519 I thought that’s why he was your pity case.
Brian that new camera is awesome! Love those outside the tractor action shots
Thanks for watching
Brian, it is hard on a fellow when the boss wants to observe operations, especially the first day out. Lol. Y'all have a nice week.
🤣
It's funny, that 750 is bigger than any equipment I own and looks tiny next to that D8. Daisy May is a beast!
Good job nice temps to get started
Deer is going threw that like butter . Hope all is well.sam
Another good one men.
15 hours on the D8 did a great job.
Heck yeah
We used to do aerating just before we spread Lyme or cow manure oh, it works
Fancy Camera work on the vert tiller..good job.

We have had real good luck with a 3 point ih vibra shank
Works like a buck rake
Pull up and lift back up and get another load
Fuel prices are gonna play a big part in farm decisions this year. LETS GO BRANDON
Morning
Kayla has to add "Tractor Momma" to the resume!!!!
Another great video.
If you want to drive your self nuts watch these guys
Yay! I’m a farmer again! 😎
Great video Brian thank you
I could yank so many puns here, but holding myself back 😉
Wish it was spring here in N. Michigan, but no,12 degrees with a 25 mph wind blowing today...ugh !
N W Ohio a little better but still snowing today. 70 coming on Wednesday but rain.
Need to see Mrs. Brown operating the tractor

It would be influenced by the type of tree.

I'm surprised that you don't have hydro tilt on your turbo. That is a nice feature to have. I'm sure you're going to miss that.
nice video
Enjoyed the video Brian

Bob has a great job, hope it crops well
When is Kayla going to do some tillage, or are you a little worried she might show all you guys up😁😁
Great awesome video brian .

Wasn’t Grannies from the Beverly hillbillies name Daisy Mae? That was a good program!
I think so.
That D8 is gonna be good for doing tile work.
Can’t pull it with it
@@BriansFarmingVideos if you had to you guys could make it work no doubt😂
@@BriansFarmingVideos you could probably get an adapter from the draw bar to 3point but would not be cheap

The bob dozer
I was wondering why you bought the JD, but then I saw two mugs of coffee in perfectly placed holders, and I knew...
I'm calling the dozer "Big Kitty"
