Re AI and people not adopting the latest tech being left behind, I don't think AI can be looked at in the same way for one reason, humanity. Call me naive or hopeful, but I think the time will come when people won't want to listen to or view things a computer made, even with prompts from a human, OVER things humans have put their souls into. People have liked the art of people for decades because of shared emotions with another human. AI can only fake that connection. You could look at this as being similar to how people are now going back to vinyl over CDs but I think it's a much bigger thing and will be a much faster recoil.
AI music will replace human created music by 2026. That's how the industry will change. 9 of the top 10 songs on Spotify will be AI generated and nobody will care. @@NGW_Studio OK, here are the questions: Is there labor involved in learning to play an instrument (practice time)? Is there cost associated with taking music lessons? Is there cost associated with buying musical instruments? Is there labor involved with recording music ? Is there costs associated with buying recording gear? Is there labor involved in learning how to use recording software and hardware ? Do you get paid for your labor, when you work? Very interesting and informative. I'll be taking your courses seriously. As far as AI, it is presently in its third stage, the next stage it reasons which is foundational to creativity. Artists will be more and more collaborative with AI to produce music. The only advantage humans will have is emotions until Ai evolves to the 5th stage, now we're in totally unfamiliar territory.
I jus use myself 4 a reference and if there is anyway to get music 4 free, that’s what I would do. After the Napster era, I just can’t see it because people already buy only fans content then post it 4 everybody. It has 2 b more clever and I think I have the answer lol!!! Coming soon
this is not the answer. artists are not in the music industry but in the marketing industry. if you can market your music properly you will be able to sell it on your own website. regardless of streaming, cds, mp3s... we absolutely do not need another profit hungry artist bullying mega company to be part of D2C.

Missed the mark on the 2000s that was literally peak music from pop to rock to rnb to rap😂 but yeah i hope you’re right but is lean more towards the industry just being completely dead unless youre drake or taylor swift or beyonce
I agree about that tine period, but I think this D2C concept will trigger a rebirth where the artists curates music differently, exactly for their fans & not working as hard for these major labels & streaming platforms.
I've bought lots of indie stuff off Bandcamp, but i have zero interest giving the big three labels a penny more than I already do with Spotify
Can u put the same music on even and bandcamp?
You sir are the smartest one in the room. I am developing a show on this now as we speak!
How do I acquire your course?
www.musicmoneymakeover.com/60-day-record-label-course
you weren't listening to the cool shit in the 2000's, so much amazing music was created with the chaos that digital consumption threw into the mix
No its not, nobody talks about that music....
@@tysonb3568 Yea they do. You live under a rock or what?
Excellent show my brother very informative two thumbs up 👍👍
Good point in that technology isn't going away. People mistakenly compare AI to crypto scams, but the difference is that AI has real world utility for various applications unlike long numbers that have no intrinsic real world value.
Well said. Bravo.
Paying for music would work if music today isn’t specifically targeted to 12-18 year olds
What is EVEN?
DTC platform
@@pgfputgod1st Right on. I hope they offer a custom URL option so I can run it off my own domain instead of theirs, that would be a genuine selling point for me.
But Chappel Roan is coming out
Oh so we’re just going to use my title and topic “the music business isn’t dead- it’s restructuring” and not shout me out or credit the whole thought process of your video? Lol you’re practically responding to me… im seeing this common to do with UA-camrs.
What words do MFS have permission to use? 😮
JK JK
Can you breakdown T pain recently talking about his first record deal with at 15/85 split? That would be very much appreciate.
Standard major label deal at the time. He also got 40m bucks advance
wow. Edge of my seat here.
Here's to your optimism 🍷
So, people are going to give up on free music, and start buying music ?
Yeah, this sounds pretty crazy when most people can't even afford to eat at McDonalds anymore. If anything, piracy will make a comeback
If the answer to these is yes, then music, justifiably, should not be free.
Bro...music has taken a miserable hit with a.i. and laptops.
We need tube amps, analog, and real instruments back.
Otherwise there's never going to be anything organic from artists again.
what album is that in the back with orange cover art please tell 😭😭🙏🏽🙏🏽
It’s Whitney Houston
I got my 60 day book but moving really slow , funds u know smh .
Where you from
I need a Talented Producer!!!
One of your plugins on final cut pro need an update brodie.
Which one? I'm not an expert lol
Muchas gracias mi carnal, que digo mi carnal mi hermano
Can’t be good to have the ‘middle man’ model trying to take ownership of the DTC experience. More people profiting in the chain other than the musicians. Social media activity + personal website is true DTC isn’t it?
Also Even isn’t looking like a great fit atm. Watching to see where they’re headed. There’s a new platform coming - future moves are going be interesting for sure.
So what? Stop uploading to soundcloud and streaming platforms and only upload to bandcamp?
I’m fairly certain D2C has always been wanted by artists. Corpos ruined everything.
Facts 💯
I jus use myself 4 a reference and if there is anyway to get music 4 free, that’s what I would do. Plus if ur music wasn’t available at wherever I get the free stuff, I wouldn’t care who or what i
missed.
@@TreXsJournal-Coming-Soon well said.
By the end of 2000 burglars couldn’t really sell DVD players in the U.K. once the Chinese cornered the production it brought burglary down big time in the U.K.
Comment “B2C” if you’re gonna be an early adopter to bandcamp & paying for music
PayHip > Bandcamp
5% fee vs 10%-15% fee (except on Bandcamp Fridays :)
Fourthwall > PayHip
If you want to incorporate passive income from digital media & physical merchandise
Is he saying "Even" ? Ive never heard of it. Neither has google. Other than obviously the opposite of odd.
Move on the raft in the rift and when you finally get a shore you will one day look out in the distance and miss the days on the raft in the big rift called life🎉
What the hell is Even? What the hell is D2C? 🤷🏻♂️
I’m not privy about EVEN but D2C is Direct To Consumer
@ Ahh, thank you.
Already beat them. #ROYALFLUSH
🇯🇲🇨🇦😎⭐Industry Change up 🕺🏿🔊🔥🎶💰💪🏾💸📈
Must of edit this video on fcpx lol
😂😂😂😂😂 yep . I Hate when that happens to me
🎉🎉🎉
Today's there's more artists than listeners😩😩
Independent Labels Already Sell Their Music On Their Own Platforms….!!
Labels Are Already On Apple At A Good Price, And As You Said IPhones And Their Set Up, With The Films As Well It’s Done…!!
The economy fucked up music, the prices went up things like food.
When the people start hoarding and stop spending, the recessiom sets in
Hell it ain’t the same today
Wow that was Amazing Info 🙏
2000s one of the best era of music to me
