Lady you're scooping the hell out of them containers lmao! You're not letting no product go to waste lmao. Great video. When I get time I may try this with my kids. And I am definitely going on your website to purchase some of your soap. Like today. Thank you soo much!
Guerrilla Marketing Maniac lol! Yes, I try not to waste anything 😊 thanks so much for watching!
l like your openness....on giving your viewer's soap (rx)... to follow! Most soap maker's won't do that. oh...I enjoyed how you said what the skin (benefits) were to each additive! educating your consumer's I think it very important!!!!!Nice Work!!!!!
Artelias Aikens thanks so much for watching 😊
What a great tutorial (and guest appearance by Roxie). Seriously, though, I have never made soap, but ready to start as soon as I can gather some supplies and ingredients. I have been watching tutorials for the last couple weeks and you are the first one to show how the soap lathers. Thank you.
Mary Napier thank you! Roxy is ready for all this rain to stop so she can get outside and run around, lol! She’s also nosy :) I was so curious about this lather I had to show it! Good luck and keep me posted on your soap!
same
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany i agree with Mary ive not seen any tutorials where they have shown the soap being used . great tutorial and i cant wait to make soaps i want to make shampoo bar soap too and moisturising soaps for my dogs too . i just hope i can get luxurious ingredients like you x
I'm pleased the lemon and lime aspect of the soap worked. I will keep the recipe. Thank you for sharing.
Looks so luxurious! Thank you!
Ruby and Roxy are just darling! Gotta love a golden ❤️ hope your new year is off to a great start!
Cj Lively happy new year! Thank you so much!
Hi I luv the blueberry soap you are making!! I haven't finished watching it yet but I wanted to comment on something you said during the process of preparing the lemon and lime to mix in the soap. You said you had done research that indicated that you cannot use lemon or lime as your liquid for your mixture with the lye. But I am a new soaper and very exploratorive. I didn't realize that I couldn't do that. So I did it and it came out beautifully. I used 3oz of the lemon juice & 3 oz carrot juice in the mixture for my lye. And then I also added
2.44 oz in at trace, along with ginger juice organic carrot pulp, and organic raw honey. And the soap came out beautifully. I just wanted to share that happy accident!! 🙃☺️😅
That is amazing!! Thanks for sharing!
Roxy you are a gem, thanks for sharing this recipe without any strings attached. It takes a secure artist to share, sending you lots of good luck in your business, I love all of your videos.
The soap looks great Cory.
Rocking Dan Teaching Man thanks so much! Happy new year Dan!

MARY MCDONALD it was amazing!! Keep me posted on yours
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany Thank you for the reply, I will keep you posted, but I have to admit I'm nervous. I can do melt and pour because it is so easy, but I really have to get my practice in on cold process. That is why I appreciate the videos that you have put on you tube along with a couple other soapers and the books I have read I'm ready.
Came out great, I made blueberry soap last year, had a lot of fun with it
Awesome job! Looks lovely 😊 to use and nourishing for your skin! 💝🎉
Thank you so much!
LOL Love the dog
I love Roxy being included! Thank you

Love the soap! I've started using yogurt in all of my soaps. It's wonderful in soap and my customers love it.
Rhonda M it’s amazing!

thank you so much! I really could not believe how good the lather was, it really surprised me and the soap felt so creamy!
Great video...I love to make soap with various products...I make a carrot soap and tomato soap. I too am working of a blueberry/carrot soap and look forward to using more foods in my line of soaps also.
Nancy Franklin it’s so much fun!
I love it when I find soaper's who also use whole foods in their products! Cory's is awesome. I wish youtube allowed pics. I'd love to see your soap too Nancy! :)Jen
This is such a neat tutorial! I love all the additives you used!
Thank you! It was really fun to put together.
Roxy is tired of you hogging all the camera time... she says it's her turn.... that was so cute at the end. Thank you for including it
Yes, she really does wonder who in the world I'm talking to!
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany they are not dumb lol she wanted her 15 minutes of fame lol
😍 I'm loving the tutorials! Thank you for sharing
Great work of natural work of art soap. Have a question, do you discount from your milk the yogurt and the purée? Thank you very much for sharing and for your response in advance.
Thankyou so very much for making these tutorials and doing all the work on the recipes! Very excited to see what else you'll have coming up! 😘
Fiona Meehan thank you!
Hello from quebec!!! I'm a beginner and i love your work!!!!
Chantal Lemire thank you so much! Thanks for tuning in!
Just purchased the last Chocolate Banana Milk Soap.. Yesss!!!!
Guerrilla Marketing Maniac lol! I just
Saw that order come through! Thanks so much! It is an awesome soap!
That looks amazing! Thank you for sharing the recipe. I can’t wait to do it for my family. I love your videos
Victoria Luna thank you! Keep me posted!
I would maybe add some beetroot puree. It might keep it nearer to blueberry colour.
I used to make a soap with blackberry puree, and after the initial purple, the soap batter went to the same color you got :)
Janet M how interesting
I wonder what the pH of the soap is and if it became less alcalic. Thanks for sharing!
Nice recepi, 🥀🌺
When you commented that the batch was accelerating quickly, I knew the lemon/lime mixture wasn't going to be an issue and lather looked great! And Roxy... she may quickly become the star of the show... lol. BTW, just subscribed, and yes, I hit the notification bell. 🔔 😁
Ken Souza thank you so much! You should have seen Roxy during my live feed last night! Lol, I blocked her out and she wanted to say hi so bad! She knows when I’m filming lol
Greetings from Sacramento California! lovely soap! what was your curing time on this soap before you used it???? Oh by the way you have beautiful clear skin..my name is Artie...🤗🤗🤗
Love your video
thank you so much for the recipe, and the video was so informative. Would the Organic whole Raw Milk be found in specialty stores? I have never seen this type in my regular supermarket. Have a great day! Mary
MARY MCDONALD hi, yes i found it at a specialty store called sprouts.
Awesome soap what size did you cut them I like that a lot and great 👍 🧼 lather
Lenna pelayo I think I cut them 1.5 inches wide.
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany thanks for the reply and great video and info looking forward to more videos can you do lavender soap and also, rosemary mint and maybe be clarysage lemon lemongrass just hoping you will
This is awesome. Im getting into soap making as well and am really excited. I wanted to know could this recipe be trippled for a 6lb mold?
Thank you Cory what a great video
Thank you
hi i would like to know how much is the cost of this soap per bar? great tutorial thanks!!!!
Anna D hi, thank you! These bars turned out really small. I sell them for $4.00 a bar
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany thank you for your reply , its really inexpensive i believe!!
Such an amazing design and so beautiful and luxurious looking. ❤️
Thank you!
Beautiful soap. Can these raw materials be used in melt and pour soaps? In that case what's the shelf life of the soaps?
Nivedita Mitra hi there, I am not sure because I’ve never tried to add fresh fruit or vegetable matter to melt and pour soap. My hunch is the soap will go bad very quickly as there is nothing to preserve the fresh ingredients. You can use powdered or dried additives in melt and pour with no problems.
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany wow... thank you so much for your kind reply. Yes. I do add powdered additives. In fact, once I have added alovera juice in my MP soap just for experiment. It stayed only for 2 months. So l stopped adding raw papaya, mango alovera etc in Mp bases, though my customers really wanted that.I just wanted your opinion whether I am right or wrong. Thank you very much ma'am. You'll be my 1st guide when l start CP. Because in my country, food items like these are most welcome in soaps. Now I mostly do herbal soaps with powdered additives and my customers love them. Thank you again.
Great videos, I love them
Do you have any suggestions for soap holders
Brenda Alfery yes, I use a bamboo soap dish with slats and I put something called soap lift on the dish. Soap lift is a little piece of recycled material that keeps the soap from sticking or gumming up your dish. I think you can get them from amazon they are so cool!
Thank you
You melted your milk ice cubes with lye and said it stayed cool is it because you put the mixture in the fridge or it just stayed cool on its own? I ask because I have heard other people say they put it in the fridge. You also said it heated up while adding fruit and yogurt and juices did it cool down or did you have to cool it? Also did you let it set out for 24 hours at room temp or did you put it in the fridge? I ask because I have watched other people use milks and creams and yogurts and fruits and they put their soap to bed in the fridge. I would like to try my hand at this just wondering what your resting process was. I know you are never suppose to gell your soap when using any of these things. Im newer to soaping, I have made about 30 plus loaves of soap and have played with additives and just loved the out come of this soap and would love to try my hand at it. Thanks so much for sharing.
By the way I hope you dont mind that I gave one of your viewers some Information on trying melt and pour soap, She lives in a hostile and wanted you to give her measurements in cups for this recipe. I also explained that you have to be precise with measurements when making CP soap and thought since she was limited to tools that melt and pour would be an easier way for her to make soap till she gets home, Thats what I started with and loved it. Thanks again for your videos and tutorials.
How to prevent discolouring?
Hello Cory. Can you please tell me what can I use instead of mango butter? I don't have any mango butter but I have cocoa butter. Can I use 1.83 oz cocoa butter for this recipe instead of mango butter?
Reven Music hi, yes you can use cocoa butter but you will need to run the recipe through a lye calculator to get the correct percentage of lye
Now I checked the recipe and calculated from Bramble Berry and it says the same lye amount for %0 superfat. So using cocoa instead of mango doesn’t change anything. Keep in mind. :))
Reven Music perfect!
What brand of Lye do you use??
What could be the validity duration of soaps with fruit piuree, yoghurt ? 6 months , 2 years?thank you for this recipe.🤗
Daniela Gioga this soap will be good for probably a year or so.
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany thank you for the answer and for the promptitude. I do not know when you have time to give all the answers and the attention to all our requests
How are you already washing with it? Isn't that harsh for the skin
CutestHeidi once it has cured for 24 hours it is 99% of the way cured. the remaining 1% cures over four week to evaporate liquid and continue to harden. It does get a bit more mild over the four weeks but It is ok to test a little scrap for a lather test.
Awesome 👏👏 but I have a question ... you using raw and fresh moist materials... what is the shelf life of these soaps????
They will last about one year.
Roxy is so cute 😂
She's crazy but totally loveable!
Hi Cory, Well done on your presentation, & being open. ((~_~’ Using the lemon & Lime zest might be a better idea than the juice - that’s where the essential oils are 😌
They turn brown due to the lye.
I actually like the colour and how it turned out. The colour suits the Scent.
I’m just wondering how the Milks had Sugars if nothing else was added in them? And I thought the Natural Sugars would’ve been in the Fruits instead.
Your dogs like “ I wanna try the yummy soap to “....lol
The dog! Pass me the dog☺☺☺☺☺
Why do you spray the top with rubbing alcohol?
Doesn't it go orange when the lye scorches the milks?
Jo Farley i think that can happen but my milks were definitely not scorched it was very cool.
Can you tell us the measurements with cups
Tokka Magdy no, when you are making soap the measurements have to be super precise or your soap won’t turn out ounces or grams are best
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany thank you very much for the information, but is it ok if you tell us a simple easy soap recipe that can be made in hostile ( not necessarily with the exact measurements) because I am living in dorms and I can't measure in grams or ounces ( cups will do) even if it is going to be liquid soap ( it will be ok for me), I think you can make a series of recipes like that and it will help a lot of students too.
@@SunshineSoapandCandleCompany when i go back home i will make sure to try making the soaps with precise measurements
You cant soap in cups. Cold Process soap has to be very precise and made in ounces or grams. You will need a scale for this that measures in ounces and grams. Measuring in cups is not precise enough. Maybe you should try melt and pour soap; It may be much easier for you since your limited in your measurements while living in a hostile. Melt and pour is already soap and has gone through saponification meaning its already made for you and you can use it right away. Melt as much of your base as you need for your mold add fragrance or essential oils and colors if you choose but they have to be colors made for melt and pour in the amount that is recommended for the amount you are using. Bulkapothocary recommends 1 ounce of fragrance per pound of melt and pour soap base. You can purchase melt and pour soap base online or in your craft stores like Micheals, Joanns, Hobby Lobby, etc and you can get other products for it there also.. Melt it add your fragrance and color and when it sets up you can use it right away. If you have not made CP soap before or if you dont have access to the proper tools and ingredients for cold process soap Melt and Pour soap is the way to go. Its what first time or beginner soapers start with. I hope this helps you, Good Luck
Isn't there supposed to be a preservative added? Sorry to sound so stupid
kayla smith the soap gets naturally preserved during the chemical process.
PS. Your scales look just the sort of thing I’ve been after..any clues?// I note that all lovely Soap-makers have dogs : )) Yours seems quite a trick : ) ; ). // Pleased to see your more natural leaning - no nasty colours or toxic fragrance oils❣️💗. // I use very similar additives/ingredients in my soaps - & do use on my face..& hair.
Brigid Laffey hi there! Yes Roxy is into everything, lol! The scale is an electric scale by Taylor that I picked up at my local Smart and Final. It holds 15 pounds
The sound us too low. Can't hear properly even in highest volume. Don't know the problem is only mine or not, but it's really a problem to me.
If we want to buy this soap. You sell the this soap we live in the Canada 🇨🇦 if yes send the address we give the order I like it because this soap is pure orange and healthy soap 👍👍
Can you bathe with this soap.
If you use this calculator, it can recalculate how much extra lye you need to account for the citric acid in the lemons and limes - www.soapmakingfriend.com/soap-making-recipe-builder-lye-calculator/
Simply go down to the additives section and add citric acid (the info button on it will tell you how and when to add it)
lilac & ginseng & Turmeric
Hey and since you provided all this great free content i'll give you some quick tips. Speed up more parts of your video: such as the mixing etc.. Break the video down into three short videos. Example: Step one, two and three. Take your first youtube video (step one), place it into a blog on your website, then promote that video on Facebook (click the little button to promote on Instagram as well). Be sure to throw some money at promoting it. And if you wish to hit certain countries, up your budget and promote there as well. This will boost your views on youtube at an extreme rate. Having three different parts/videos will increase your ad clicks and increase your revenue on youtube. And most importantly, you will draw tons of traffic to your website. I have to click a link in the description to make a purchase. If I was watching this in your blog, all I would have to do is scroll to the top or click buy now under the video etc... One more freebie..... Put something controversial in your video to make as your video frame for your first video. Something such as your dog jumping on the table and knocking some of your supplies over and/or you dropping a bunch of liquid on the floor. Place this as your video image as click bait. Good luck and thank you again for this great free content!
Guerrilla Marketing Maniac great tips thank you!

Oh gosh one more lol. You shouldn't give your recipes away without grabbing name and email address at least. Ask for a phone number as well but don't make it as required in your contact box. You should have something such as: "If you would like to download this recipe for free click here. Or go here to download this recipe for free." It should take them to a simple landing page with a contact box requesting name, email, and phone number. Just don't make the phone number a required entry. Then once they input that, it should allow them to download the recipe. Set your contact form up so that it automatically grabs the email address and put it in mail chimp. You will be able to email these people special deals and freebies etc.. to turn them into customers. Also, people who put down their phone numbers are more likely to become potential customers. You should place their number in a group text messaging system. Gravity Forms has all the tools to easily set all this up. Thats my good deed for the day. lol Thanks again.
