Oh yeah, E46 had SMG (I think SMG-I) in 330Ci, the one where the steering paddle on both left & right side do the same thing, and it depends on which direction you push/pull to upshift/downshift.
The E46 is overheating because it's missing the under-engine covering/air guide. I measured on mine and it's at least plus 5C. And very professional of you to talk about the Lucid Air, my every other sentence would have been offering a conrod bearing service for the S85 😂

Misha have your Engineer thought of making sheets of Carbon Fiber/ Kevlar fiber Under body Panels instead of Aluminum? There a few Companies in UK that Sells these Fabric.
Aluminium is easily lazercut, bendable and welded and it can take the beating. Custom carbonfiberparts for an underbody will be very expensive to have produced 🙂 20year old E46 is a "budget" racecar build.. 😂🤣💨
So, I'm assuming - 991 GT3 RS to have 992 GT3 RS alike aerokit - 992 Turbo S to have 992 GT3 RS alike aerokit & become homemade 992 GT2 RS I'm actually curious to see how the E46 turned out!

I think they’re going to extend the front splitter to replace where the cover would be
Overheating fuel tank with enclosed exhaust, front underplate not completed so airflow is not guided through the tunnel like it suppose to do 🙂💨
