You ranking of the Tour course is exactly why I said in the last video that it won't be that hard to top Mario Kart 8 Deluxe quality wise. Quantity isn't everything when a good chunk of it felt kinda like filler
17:27, “It changes every lap and never feels unnatural, you always know where to go.” *4 seconds later, “And that takeout on lap 3 where you think you’re going up the stairs but really you just fall underground again, I really love that.”* (I know what he meant it’s still funny though.)
You can tell that this is in fact one of the greatest game of all time when you already love the last place and think one of the most hated courses (Mario Circuit 3) should be in the top 3! Yes I mean that!
My favourite tracks are Mario Circuit 3, Riverside Park, Snow Land, Bowser Castle 3 and Boo Lake. I’m an absolute sucker for pure racing tracks and I’ve had some amazing close races on all five of these. Big up the GBA courses apparently!
FINALLY someone who doesn’t have insane nostalgia bias! I was going crazy thinking I was the the only who found it mid. Mario circuit 3 on the other hand um… that’s definitely an opinion!
(this is my opinion) If New York minute has 1 fan, I am that one. I don't mind the bland, and typically confusing city course layout, I find it very fun (Mainly 200) I also really don't mind the unnecessary slipperiness on the course, since a lot of my favorite courses are slippery. 2 nitpicks I will give though is yeah, the taxis not moving just like the cars in coconut mall before the change is very weird, they literally act as glorified walls in the middle of the course. The other nitpick is that the grass cut at Central Park on l1 and l2 really needs fixing, maybe add a fence over the out of bounds section or just make you drive through the section itself, it's still not totally useless but I would definitely change it. The course also has a lot more shortcuts than Tokyo's only 1 and has many more locations you drive past and even through than some other cities. Finally, this is a biased reason, but I love the city courses in this game (Even Tokyo, my least favorite) I am a person that loves and learns about geography and these city courses definitely did not disappoint me in this game, but New York Minute, despite being an early BCP City, still holds up after Wave 6. Sorry about the long commentary, I just wanted to share my opinion about my thoughts on New York, since you put it in 2nd to last. You had me at SNES Mario Circuit 3 being so high and then completely lost me at Mushroom Gorge being top 5, but then reeled me back in with Wii Rainbow Road being top 2 lol. The gap jump feels like the only interesting thing about Mushroom Gorge. I wish they had brought back Toad Factory or Dry Dry Ruins or something instead if it had to be another Wii course. Honestly your top choices make me think you were an MKW kid like me because I completely agree with the rest of them being so high lol.
I agree with Waluigi Pinball but like it ALWAYS HAD NO SHORTCUTS. Also Ninja hideaway being lower than Mario Circuit 3 pretty outrageous but your opinion
I have so much nostalgia from coconut mall and playing it together with my family that I would have to say the new remodeled version of it in Mario kart 8 is the best

I would also add the sunset to GBA Sunset Wilds and anti-gravity to GBA Sky Garden and DS Waluigi Pinball (with a unique arrangement).
I agreed with the first 6. That’s IT. I can’t stand to stand beside a man who won’t stand for what I stand for. That being Vancouver Velocity. Easily (In my opinion) the most hated track for NO REASON. It’s bursting with character and it’s at least the best City Course to do so!

@RobBlu-d6u i like the koopa cape pick, if they didn't demolish the underwater section, also double dash needed more reps in the dlc, get rid of the tour tracks cuz they're not interesting at all
3:36 i have never seen anyone really say this maps fun I mean I enjoy it but dam bro you got something against it cause that overrated sounded personal💀
you know, the tour tracks were made originally for mario kart tour... Mkt has a built in, unable to turn off smart steering so you basically cannot do much with such a limited set of abilities
Low key hate you for pointing out that a lot of the new city tracks are pretty much the same didn’t realize that until this video now I see it dang it 😂
Not really too hard when time trialing but getting out of the pack unscathed online is kind of ridiculous. You're kind of forced to go full bagging if you want to get out.
If it was about budget and time, I would have prefered Nintendo make half as many bonus tracks focusing on the remaining being enhanced to top quality. I can replay the same track over and over again if its done right!!
i def don't agree with all of them, but some of them i do. (for the early ones i do need to play them again- been a while since i have) but i do think all the tracks in the dlc are fun (other then Toad Circuit. that one sucks)
If moonview highway came out during Mario kart tour and was called Pyongyang Circuit you would have it ranked dead last. I think you’re very harsh on the tour tracks
18:24 that has to be the saddest gap jump ever. Also pls elaborate what made Waluigi Pinball so good on DS as you said it would’ve previously been top 5 it’s the same track with a better aesthetic
I do feel like mario circuit 3 is underrated and overhated - I pesonaly always loved the turns on it - but I also feel like mario kart is a little oversaturated with flat courses that don't really have much of a theme.

5th: SNES Bowser Castle 3
4th: Tour Madrid Drive
3rd: GBA Sky Garden
2nd: 3DS Rainbow Road
1st: Wii Rainbow Road
I agreed with the first 6. That’s IT. I can’t stand to stand beside a man who won’t stand for what I stand for. That being Vancouver Velocity. Easily (In my opinion) the most hated track for NO REASON. It’s bursting with character and it’s at least the best City Course to do so!
Sir Musty will tear you to shreds. Prepare yourself.
SUNSET WILDS & MARIO CIRCUIT 3 over WALUIGI PINBALL has to be the worst take in videogame history I have ever seen
you definitely have an interesting opinion, mario circuit 3 is actually crazy.
Tracks i wanted in but never got:
Toads factory
Wario colleseum
Airship fortress(my fav)
Dino dino jungle
Dk jungle parkway
Bowser castle 4(GBA
Mushroom city and bridge
Shy guy bazaar
Dry dry ruins
Maka wuhu
Wuhu loop.
Bowsers castle(n64 and Wii)
As you can tell there are a lot
Dry Dry Ruins and Toad's Factory should have been picked over Mushroom Gorge and Koopa Cape tbh.
@RobBlu-d6u i like the koopa cape pick, if they didn't demolish the underwater section, also double dash needed more reps in the dlc, get rid of the tour tracks cuz they're not interesting at all
1 Daisy Circut
2 Sky Garden
3 Paris Promenade
4 Yoshi’s Island
5 Choco Muotian
“People like this map and I don’t know why” = People like stuff that I don’t so I must let it be known
Something about snow land just makes me happy
I’m so glad Athens Dash made it into the top 25. My favorite track from the DLC imo
3:36 i have never seen anyone really say this maps fun I mean I enjoy it but dam bro you got something against it cause that overrated sounded personal💀
Too many arguments w my boys lmao
@@SwitchStopscrew you bruh
@@SwitchStopdon’t you dare ever hate city tracks in Mario kart 8 deluxe not cool bruh you should be banned from UA-cam >:(
@@SwitchStopDONT YOU FREAKING DARE JUDGE WALUIGI PINBALL I LIKE THAT TRACK BRUH 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
2:43 You can take the shortcut shromless it’s just that he’s not skilled enough to rate the tracks L rating
I think Rome is the best city track but I respect you for putting at #2 and Sydney is a great city track so I understand why you put it at #1
Overall, it's a great list, and i highly agree with you on Sydney Sprint being by far the best tour track and the Shroom Ridge hate.
Idk I gotta say that Madrid Drive is the best city track
you know, the tour tracks were made originally for mario kart tour... Mkt has a built in, unable to turn off smart steering so you basically cannot do much with such a limited set of abilities
It’s crazy that someone said that having 1900 hours isn’t a lot in Mario kart 8 deluxe but then it could have been a troll on here that said that
POV if IGN rated video games:
Who’s gonna tell bro they do
I never really liked Waluigi Pinball. Played it first on the DS and it still doesn't hit me.
ALSO HE SAID THEY SHOULDA BROUGHT BACK 7's BOWSERS CASTLE IS WILDD
Low key hate you for pointing out that a lot of the new city tracks are pretty much the same didn’t realize that until this video now I see it dang it 😂
I love your list , I totally understand the Mario Circuit and Snow Land spot because they’re so fun !
Bro said that Rosalina’s ice world is a insanely tough course but then said absolutely nothing about Athens dash being slightly difficult
Not really too hard when time trialing but getting out of the pack unscathed online is kind of ridiculous. You're kind of forced to go full bagging if you want to get out.
"My opinions are going to be different from everyone else's"
*Proceeds to cry over the city tracks like every other basic player*
If it was about budget and time, I would have prefered Nintendo make half as many bonus tracks focusing on the remaining being enhanced to top quality. I can replay the same track over and over again if its done right!!
Im glad you didn’t put Waluigi Pinball at #1 and say something like “c’mon guys its Waluigi Pinball”.
i played 8 of these cups with my cousins and we had a great time i will play the other 4 cups when they next come over
2:37 omg guess what ???!!!! You can do it shroomless !!! 😱😱
My favourite 2 are Coconut Mall and Squeaky Clean Sprint and my least favourite 2 are Tokyo Blur and the worst one (you guessed it!) Toad circuit!
Toad circuit is worse than Baby Park
Instead of Peachette, Nintendo should have put Dixie Kong as a playable character, it's time for Nintendo give more attention for her!
Excuse me. . .WHO LIKES SKY GARDEN?!
Your mom
I used to but I don't anymore
Me
I do I love the gap jump
Yes
Finally, someone else who agrees Waluigi Pinball is overrated
I will never understand why they didn't add Grand Central Station to New York Minute.
i def don't agree with all of them, but some of them i do. (for the early ones i do need to play them again- been a while since i have) but i do think all the tracks in the dlc are fun (other then Toad Circuit. that one sucks)
Wow, soooo many same-old retro courses. Was going to buy this but not any more.
I found it worth the price
Waluigi pinball and sky high Sunday should be at number two and number one
you have offended the choco mountain society
If moonview highway came out during Mario kart tour and was called Pyongyang Circuit you would have it ranked dead last. I think you’re very harsh on the tour tracks
now, which do you prefer, big blue which was the winner for the one with the original courses or yoshis island for this video.
18:24 that has to be the saddest gap jump ever. Also pls elaborate what made Waluigi Pinball so good on DS as you said it would’ve previously been top 5 it’s the same track with a better aesthetic
I also like Sydney sprint a lot to. mainly because I live in Australia
Boo Lake doesn't make sense to be so low with all the praise you gave it lol
SNES Mario circuit 3 is extremely underrated
Nah i get the new york hate but it is for sure better than paris or tokyo
I do feel like mario circuit 3 is underrated and overhated - I pesonaly always loved the turns on it - but I also feel like mario kart is a little oversaturated with flat courses that don't really have much of a theme.
You have not played Xenoblade DLC if you believe this was the best DLC Nintendo ever made.
🤓
I disagreed with a lot of this, but we can agree on the Snow Land love.
0:49 I have toad Circuit in the top 15… I like it ok I got a good score on Time Trials
The worst city track is Tokyo blur in my opinion, at least, New York minute has a vibe😭
my fav track is moon virew highway is bc as a kid in wii i always ran in to the bomb cars
Toad circuit at 48 and mario circuit 3 at 13 feels so hypocritical
48 tracks, and people really think Mario Kart 9 is still coming to Switch?????? Get real, this IS Mario Kart 9!!
Never let bro cook again💀💀💀
