The trombone in this channel has the most interesting titles
I link the clarinet and trombone in my head as two jazz instruments that fell out of favor, for whatever reason. I guess neither excelled at bebop styles.

@@baribone98 There's always exceptions to the rule, of course (J.J. Johnson, Buddy DeFranco) but I think of clarinet and trombone as more popular in the early days.
Well stop thinking that way and start watching the youth of today and get out of your big band catalog
I highly suggest you listen to some Bob McChesney, and also the trombone has stayed very relevant even outside of jazz, James Brown's band leader was a trombonist himself, Frank wesley.
