I feel the media should, if intellectual integrity can be expected, start calling it “defensive right” instead of hard right. For it to be “hard right”, no context is needed. It assumes that people who’ve brought them into power must have become hardened too. However the same voters would have voted differently earlier. So what contributed to this shift? Is the shift permanent? The irony is that in calling them “hard right”, the media is hoping that it can guilt shame the voters to return to their earlier preferences. In other words, the only reason you call them hard right is because they are not hard right and there is hope of returning. Nobody calls the real hard rights “hard right”

I would not say that socialism is declining in Europe, but instead it seems Europe has Heavy anti incumbency due to economic issues, etc. and there are strong headwinds against the status quos and "parties of governance" that ruled Europe for the last decade. Case in point, The UK conservatives are losing by quite a large margin to the Labour party and also Recently Donald Tusk of Poland defeated the right-wing party there. While it may be true that immigration, and cultural issues are driving Europe to the right, we must never forget that economic issues are also a top priority, as Clinton's 1992 campaign said, "It's the economy, Stupid".
The ‘right turn’ in Europe is indeed interesting. Would have been useful to understand (in greater detail) the reasons for this trend. Living in the Gulf, I come across several Westerners who are unhappy with the consequences of the left leaning policies of their Government. A French national complained that refugees are given a 5star hotel to stay in for extended periods while their own citizens remain homeless (not sure if of this is exaggerated).
To manage the time in CTC in general, perhaps lesser time can be given to reading out numbers (which can be displayed on the screen)
Note that quite a lot of people/press in India & western countries consider MODI as a hard right although he is the ONLY person in India who trying to improve the lives of Indian people & India along with trying his best to reduce corruption as much as possible. MODI is also trying his best dealing with USA, China, Russia & all others in parallel.

Europe and its people deserve better than what they have right now.
The thing is European political system is hedged in such a manner that it is difficult for any ideology to dominate the political system. Multiparty system where there are several parties of comparable strength, semi parliamentary and semi presidential system in many countries, or proportional representation in terms of percentage of votes like in Germany means that even though everyone has a shot it's difficult to actually deviate too much from the establishment state agenda. Unfortunately first-past-the-post system allows a deviant ideological party to get power and then abuse it much more freely. So Europe's turn to the right won't be a hard turn. However more and more MEP in Brussels for the hard right might be good news for Putin.

Congress had filed it's petition in high court, court decided against Congress and found them guilty and liable to pay IN MARCH. After the court judgement, only their selective liable amount was seized, not the whole bank account as claimed by Congress. They can still use the rest of the money.
If you think otherwise, then my friend you don't believe in high court. Then maybe you only believe in propaganda channels of the ultra left like Newsloondy, the wire etc.
