I'm kinda pissed off at Christina Miller, too (and I'm almost 11). I remember when I was younger, and I watched the old boomerang, with the toys, and the guy saying "this is boomerang, from Cartoon Network" (I watched it when it was a channel). Now, the logo isn't a boomerang, which makes no sense (read the name, Christina), the bumpers have Lincoln Loud saying "Well be right back on boomerang", and have reused animation from the cartoons (the only good bumper has Tom from Tom and Jerry eating a turkey, and Shaggy from Scooby Doo says "like, are you gonna finish that?"), and the worst part is, THEY PLAY MODERN CARTOONS THAT YOU CAN WATCH ON DEMAND OR ON CARTOON NETWORK. 😡
I recall someone mention in the comment section of a Cartoon Network/Boomerang rant video that there should be different types of channels regarding the various Cartoon Network channels and it went something along the lines of: Boomerang- Old cartoons from the 1930s (maybe 1920s if there are good cartoons) to the 1980s. Cartoon Network Retro- Cartoons from the 1990s to the 2000s, such as Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Laboratory, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Power Puff Girls, Camp Lazlo, Cow and Chicken, etc. Cartoon Network- Current line up. Adult Swim- The current line up, plus old shows they used to have or air, such as Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Brak Show, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, Sealab 2021, etc. If they did this, they'd be able to appeal to everyone who loves the old Boomerang, the old Cartoon Network, Adult Swim would be able to have its own 24/7 channel and Cartoon Network could keep up with the current shows they've got lined up and whatever else they'll make. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like this will happen.
Unfortunately I don't see that happening. Not only are there costs that are not insignificant when it comes to creating additional channels, channel numbers are at a premium. Dish Network has their children's entertainment block between channels 190 and 200, DirectTV has this black between 290 and 300. There are some shows I would've never watched if it hadn't been airing on a channel nearby to one I was looking at. When I had Dish Network, I remember some channels had two numbers. Disney XD, as an example, had 192 and something like 8956, unless you are bored out of your mind, or visit the broadcaster's website you aren't likely to see channels that high in the list.
They need to bring AS to the UK 🇬🇧 so here’s what I’m thinking... the boomerang thing GONE and replace it with CNRetro and AS just replace TCM cuz it would be better as a 24 hr channel and that makes as available to uk viewers but also Disney mainly made the 1930 or 1940 cartoons soooo that can’t happen
What about the in-between shows like Regular Show, Adventure Time, and Clarence that are too old to air on Cartoon Network but too new to air on Cartoon Network Retro?
Toonami13 i remember back like... 10 years ago, Adult Swim ran Toonheads. I think they very much should bring back those cartoons for at least part of the Adult Swim block.
Here's an idea that just might work. We take the boomerang channel, and bring back all the classic cartoons from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s, and we run them all day, all night, every day, for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and we get rid of all this new crap that's on the TV. And then we do the exact same thing for Cartoon Network, and then we combine the two channels into one big giant super classic cartoon channel! Boom! The classic cartoon network is back!
JaredGotGame Warner Bros CEO: When our new streaming service launches next year. Let's move Teen Titans Go to it. And for good measure assassinate Christina Miller & frame Skylar Page because to be frank guys. Clarence should've gotten cancelled when the scandal involving him was released. And if we frame Skylar Page who's already dealt with controversy then I will have enough time to resign & find someone to replace me as CEO because by then I'll be the next Keemstar.
Christina Miller! As a CN viewer for almost 2 decades, you need to just be let go. You have made CN go to a point where it is almost nonexistent. We, the viewers from both the 90s and 2000s, have made it to what it once was. That was until your predecessor ruined it with the CN Real block, but he did bring Cartoon Planet back to the scene. But, YOU, Christina Miller, have almost destroyed the network as a whole! You need to be let go and fired from the network as a whole. That is all.
So how do you feel about the person who actually programs and schedules the channels, Vishnu Athreya? He's been doing this for three years now and had a reputation for spamming shows the way he does even back when he was working in CN's Asian networks.
It's just weird that Christina got there after everybody and yet she gets the lion's share of the blame on the internet. Literally everybody else there, including the chief content officer Rob Sorcher and the VP of scheduling and programming Vishnu Athreya don't get the same vitreous reactions on the internet as Christina Miller does, and they literally have more power. Christina Miller is in charge of the global brand that Cartoon Network is, not just the US network, but all of them, and if you look at Cartoon Network throughout the world, they're not so stagnant. In fact, they're well-ran machines. Ask anybody who has watched an international version of Cartoon Network lately and they'll tell you it's worth watching. Boomerang has balanced lineups as does Cartoon Network, and they even have Toonami as a stand-alone channel in some markets. Hell, in Japan, Mighty Magiswords and Slayers air back-to-back on the main lineup. It's the American networks led and managed by Sorcher and Athreya that needs help. Betty Cohen, Dea Perez, and Linda Simensky were the best management team Cartoon Network had ever had and set up everything that was great about the network. And every group since has been worse than the previous group. I think that's why I'm not jumping on-board the fire Christina Miller bandwagon. It's the rest of the US management that's beneath her that has to go. They've been there too long and ruined the network's reputation in the US while the rest of the world is seeing Cartoon Network and Boomerang grow thanks the Miller's leadership worldwide.
Personally, I don't think we need to kill the Boomerang channel as much as we need to full-on overhaul it. Make like the United Kingdom and call it CN 2. It's a more accurate name for the current channel and it could excuse a couple of the problems. Now, we need to divide CN and CN 2. The major, original programming goes on CN. Any TV shows still airing go on CN. If a show ended recently, put it on CN as well. As for CN 2, this is where all of the classic shows go, and by classic, I mean Checkerboard era. If a show is at least 20 years of age, it goes on CN 2 and CN 2 only. If it is not, it goes on CN and CN only. This will give Cartoon Network viewers on both sides. Kids and fans of the current programming will tune in to CN, and kids and people who grew up with the network will tune in to CN 2. The divide can't be too big though! Drop the Boomerang streaming service in favor of a single CN streaming service. Here, both CN and CN 2 shows are there. People with the app have almost all of Cartoon Network at their fingertips. Plus, the networks will advertise each other and the app very frequently. This way, people know where everything is. Now, I may have very little business knowledge, but I do have a lot of ideas. I also think that we can get ourselves out of these situations.
How about not calling it Boomerang but instead Kids WB with: Weekdays 5:00am: Looney Tunes 7:00am: Tom & Jerry 9:00am: Tom & Jerry Tales 9:30am: Baby Looney Tunes 10:00am: Krypto the Superdog 10:30am: Johnny Test 11:00am: Taz-Mania 12:00pm: Tiny Toon Adventures 1:00pm: Animaniacs 2:00pm: Pinky and the Brain 3:00pm: Histeria 4:00pm: Johnny Test 5:00pm: Batman 6:00pm: Batman Beyond 6:30pm: Superman 7:00pm: Static Shock 7:30pm: Justice League 8pm: Powerpuff Girls 9:00pm: KND 10:00pm: Foster's 11:00pm: Samurai Jack 12:00m: Flintstones 1:00am: Jetsons 2:00am: Scooby-Doo 3:00am: Smurfs 4:00am: Snorks
We need to bring back the classics, like Pink Panther, Grape Ape, Droopy the Dog, Popeye and more for the daytime, then Superfriends, Justice League/Unlimited, Teen Titans, and Young Justice for the nighttime.
Changes Boomerang needs go make? For one, they need to bring back the classic 90's Hannah Barbara classic 2 Stupid Dogs. 2 Stupid Dogs is one of my all time favorite shows and I watch it all the time back in the day when it aired on Boomerang. I still love the show 2 Stupid Dogs, even to this day and still watch it on DVD. Unfortunately, the entire series is not on the official DVD release and I'm still waiting for Warner Bros to make a Season 2 of 2 Stupid Dogs so I can have the whole show on the official DVD releases. Heck, I'm surprised they didn't put it on HBO Max.
ok so uh turns out Boomerang has been recently showing the older CN, HB and WB content as of late 2020, mainly September, October and November, and quite possibly December. Ed Edd, N' Eddy (September 7th - October 1st) PowerPuff Girls (1998) (September 7th - October 1st, November 2nd - November 26th) Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (September 7th - October 1st) Dexter's Laboratory (September 8th - October 1st, November 2nd - November 26th) Chowder (October 1st - November 2nd) The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (October 1st - November 2nd) The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (October 1st - November 26th) Courage the Cowardly Dog (October 1st - November 26th) Older Scooby Doo content has been re-shown in addition to Scoob-Tober (but it appears most of them are remaining on the schedule at this point) Magilla Gorilla (November 26th - Present) Jonny Quest (November 26th - Present) Josie and the Pussycats (November 26th - Present) Popeye (November 26th - Present) (oddly enough this show got removed from both the Boomerang app and VRV) The Flintstones (November 26th - Present) Top Cat (November 26th - Present) The Huckleberry Hound Show (November 26th - Present) The Yogi Bear Show (November 26th - Present) Wacky Races (1968) (November 26th - Present)
I really like this concept a lot. Especially since you mentioned that Cartoon Network has tons of old cartoons in their library. Give us the old Boomerang logo (or something that is reminiscent of the old logo, like The Splat does), old bumpers, and less commercials. Then I will be very happy. To the point that I will watch the block every Saturday night. But that’s just me.
My childhood... Er, younger childhood. I'm 13. I have gold memories of my dad and I sitting down on the couch for dinner and watching scooby doo, Johnny bravo, courage, all the old shows.
Unfortunately, Boomerang is the only channel that airs my show now, because CN moved it there (despite it still being an on-going show???). Thanks Miller, for making it impossible for most fans of said show to watch it (at least legally), since most of us can't afford to get Boomerang. :')
I feel Bopomerang is slowly getting fixed. I mean, all Thanksgiving weekend this year they're playing nothing but classic cartoons from the 60s and 70s. :)
Theyre kinda doing this with Checkered Past (although instead of eating Adult Swim's time it's rating Cartoon Network's time which is dumb) Meanwhile outside of the bumpers Boomerang seems to be doing pretty well for itself
I think retro television is actually quite sustainable as a network, just not a premium cable network. Boomerang's avaiblibity does not work for such a niche network. They need to cast a wider net. CNN wouldn't be doing so well either if people had to pay extra for it. Boomerang is perfect for a digital subchannel if it could figure out a carriage deal. Most subchannels already consist of retro programs, and there is a huge untapped market with the lack of children's subchannels, the only one to my knowledge right now is PBS Kids. They could even bust out the old toy bumpers and they wouldn't really have to bother coming up with any content for it, just run the feed. If MeTV and This can be successful playing mostly crap imagine how well a Turner network would do if they could make it for cheap enough.
It REALLY depresses me that 'retro' channels don't work anymore because a lot of new programs suck. (Especially those sitcoms aimed at tweens.) Sure, it would be nice if more current shows were good, but they're few, and far between, and It saddens me that I live in a world where kids don't recognize the icons I grew up with (Unless they got a modern reboot.) Even more depressing is that broadcast stations are nothing but garbage that i would NEVER touch with a 50 foot pole.
I feel like Boomerang either needs be put out of it misery or completely revised and given its own original cartoon with a mix of older cartoons and different style.
Instead of a three hour saturday block, how about a 6 hour block every weekday from 9a-3p 9:00am: Dexter's Laboratory 10:00am: Johnny Bravo 11:00am: Courage the Cowardly Dog 12:00pm: The Powerpuff Girls 1:00pm: Ed, Edd n Eddy 2:00pm: Codename: Kids Next Door When one show finishes it's run, take that show off and add another. On weekends, how about a thing called the Cartoon of the Week, with a random show new or old can air. To start, how about airing Billy and Mandy the first week, then air Regular Show the next week. For Halloween weekend, Courage, Earth Day weekend: Captain Planet. Hell, Teen Titans Go can air one week. Saturdays 12p-6p Sundays 12p-4p
Why don't they just air the early 2000s' classics like the "Powerpuff Girls", "Ed, Edd n' Eddy", etc. It's not like the classics are easy to find anyway. You are right this is the best way to use all of their properties.
At Least Steven Universe was decent for these trying times, but kids should check out the older shows, because if they keep seeing crap like Teen Titans Go, they will have no real taste and no view of what a GOOD cartoon is like.

I think CN can easily add a "Boomerang" for every weekday Monday - Hannah Barbera (Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby Doo) Tuesday - Looney Tunes & MGM (Buggs Bunny, Tom and Jerry...) Wednesday - Super Heroes (various DC series, Power Rangers...) Thursday - Cartoon Cartoons/CN originals (Dexter, Courage, Regular Show...) Friday - Indie shows/Pilots Saturday - Others/Foreign shows (Total Drama, Jhonny Test, Bunnicula...) Sunday - Completely random series I'm from Mexico, sorry for any grammar mistake or American schedule unawareness.
The big problem with this is that it only has old CN Originals and doesn't utilize the vast library of shows from Hanna-Barbera, MGM, and Warner Bros. I think 1 half of the block should have CN originals while the other half could have H-B, MGM, and WB stuff. And they should take a note from NickSplat and air old bumpers from both CN and Boomerang during commercial breaks.
What I would do is integrate more of CN's previous shows from the 90s thru 2010 rebrand into the daytime schedule along with the newer shows. Then, from say 11pm to 5 am, would be Boomerang Retro, where They could use the old logo, play Hanna Barbera shows, and maybe use old bumpers. It's not feasible to run these programs all day, but there is still interest in them nonetheless. And it would be way better than the channel is now.
Turn it back to the way it was before the 2015 rebrand (old commercials, old toy models, old logo, etc.) Bring back Boomeraction and Boomerang-a-long and other old blocks Air shows from the 40s-80s + classic CN shows from 90s/2000s Get rid of anything from 2010 onwards and put them back on to Cartoon Network (because they're too recent and they don't fit on the channel)
I think that personally this is a good idea, I remember growing up on boomerang because I remember being home when I was sick and I was at home with my dad cuz my mom was at work and we would sit and watch like the Jetsons and Flintstones and stuff like that, best memories of my life, I miss old boomerang, I mean the idea before they decided to add TTG was a good idea to attract early 2000's kids was a cool idea in my opinion, but TTG ruined it I think. Anyway I want the old boomerang back, but this is basically what I would've done
I made a Change.org petition to fix Boomerang. On it I basically wrote how they could make it like it was in 2000, and how it could have new stuff with it. Like, why not have Regular show, or Foster with all those Hannah Barbara cartoons?
To be honest though, even if Christina Miller tries to fix Boomerang Network, I doubt it's gonna happen because the damage has already done since its re-brand and its streaming service...
While this is good.. If it's a block on CN that means it would be Cartoonito to CN, CN to Boomerang, Boomerang to [adult swim], and so on. (There's also Toonami) So CN would be Cartoonitoami [adult] Boomernetwork.
They should just get an old employee or intern or a creator of one of older cartoons to become the new head of CN. Someone familiar with the channel. They shouldn't get people who don't know how to run a channel.
I don't ever see Dexter's Laboratory or ed edd and eddy or the original Powerpuff Girls or courage the cowardly dog that's the kind of stuff that should be on boomerang
I feel you can do this CN til 8, Boomerang til 11, toonnami til 3 Then adult swim til 7. Toonami and Boomerang need to come on everyday. Saturday only is not going to work.
The thing about what you're asking for is, and how can I put it succinctly, that's not Boomerang. That's Cartoon Cartoon Fridays on Saturdays, not Boomerang. Boomerang has, or used to have the entirety of the Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros, and MGM classic library on their air. You want them to essentially put the '90s era Cartoon Network back on Cartoon Network, which isn't a bad idea in essence, but don't call it Boomerang. Personally speaking, I think the original Boomerang began to die when the Cartoon Cartoons took over slots of the Hanna-Barbera/Looney Tunes shows. I couldn't watch Popeye on Boomerang because someone wanted to see reruns of Cow and Chicken at 1 AM. Here's a suggestion. Don't call . . . this plan Boomerang. Call it Cartoon Cartoons. Boomerang is for true classics that deserve to be on-air. Make a Cartoon Cartoons block every night from 8 PM - 11 PM on Adult Swim. And if you want to kill the Boomerang network so badly, at least give those classics a mid-afternoon daily strip from 11 AM to 3 PM. Stuff like Looney Tunes, Flintstones, MGM and Popeye shorts, Tom and Jerry, Huckleberry Hound, Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera and Ruby-Spears shows, Super Adventures, ANYTHING that breaks the monotony of Teen Titans Go reruns. Also, if you want to put a boogeyman to what ails CN/Boom/AS, blame the VP of scheduling, Vishnu Athreya. He, NOT CHRISTINA MILLER, is the one programming and scheduling the network the way that it is.
You make a very well explained point. In my many attempts at conceptualizing a successful 'Boomerang' in the modern day, I had to eliminate a number of features that would only lower ratings. Those iconic Hanna-Barbera/Looney Tunes series that were critical to Boomerang in the 2000s lost viewers interest in the 2010s. That viewership decline, from 2010-2014 was why Cartoon-Cartoons began to slide into Boomerang, and eventually, completely replace the classic shows. So, back to the concept. The reason Hanna-Barbera/Looney Tunes shows aren't featured is because of low turnout. If viewers are interested in HB/LT, the Boomerang streaming service would automatically feature the shows you'd want. It seems you really love those classic series, but the facts are that viewership isn't strong enough to sustain them. Which is why my Boomerang concept completely reinvents what we know of Boomerang. It is meant to target the audience that has said they would watch throwback content. That target audience is no longer following HB/LT era, but the Cartoon-Cartoons era. Every Saturday from 8pm-11pm and is perfect primetime for potential viewers. I don't want to kill the channel, but just as Nicktoons Network is a ghost of its former self, Boomerang is even worse. If Turner were to drop Boomerang the potential for them to really make a tight CN 12AM-11:30PM daily schedule could be evolved greatly, i.e. in my concept. Thanks for the comment dude.
How to really fix it: Make it so it shows old kid cartoon from all famous channels like Nick, Cartoon Network, Disney XD, PBS Kids, and more. And put famous old shows like DuckTales, Ed Ed & Eddy, Rugrats, Cat & Dog, Old Pokémon, and more. And make it so ( if they can ), air old kids movies like Disney Movies and other famous old movies.
It's a shame little kids will never be exposed to what quality Cartoons are. The old Boomerang was so great and I wish people would just take an interest in it again :(
I agree, I loved all the classic shows, but now it's just cn 2
Are you serious? That couldn't be farther from the truth. Cartoons have not gotten any worse. It's all on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon or some other streaming service.
Not an Instrument if you were replying to me I only meant boomerang not all modern cartoons
i saw old boomerang and i miss it
I’m was born in the middle of the 2000s(2000-2010)and I luckily got to see the old cartoons like Hanna Barbera and Looney Tunes on Boomerang and Cartoon Cartoons on Cartoon Network plus the time when live action was coming to Cartoon Network and then the Modern era.I have lived long enough and short of enough to see the glory days of both as by that point they were both separate. In fact my grandparents still have the Boomerang Channel and yes they do show Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes And Scooby Doo, I could care less for their new incarnations and the other modern stuff on their and replace with more Hanna Barbera shows
Would they bring back the bumpers tho?
Tony Rivera I don't know would they?
In the concept I never specified. I'd go for a 'CartoonCity' bumper style.
athemocracy Yeah that makes sense.
yes
I think that the bumpers should be similar to the early Checkerboard bumpers. They would fit right in with the modern Dimensional look.
boomerang should still be a thing to teach todays kids all the old cartoons
Yeah and if they air present day shows, that defeats the namesake of the channel.
Agreed.
Ed edd and eddy and grim adventures would be such a hit again i just know it
Boomerang is actually learned about some of the older cartoons growing up, and it was great
@Alex 74 but they won't do it.
I hear that Boomeraction music! :D
Yup!
I miss the Boomeraction block.
I remember watching teen titans and samurai jack
I agree on this, except I feel like the 'Boomerang' name should be switch to 'Cartoon Cartoons' because you're focusing on Cartoon Network originals instead of classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons
considering how the first Cartoon Cartoons ARE Hanna Barbera shows(look it up), nah.
fawfulmark2 BAM LAY THOSE FACTS BOI
fawfulmark2 except that Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage The Cowardly Dog and KND had absolutely nothing to do with Hanna Barbera and they were Cartoon Cartoons
I think you should be president for cartoons network
Cartoon Network used to be the shit I was 3 years old when I watch samurai jack foster home of the imaginary friends, and many more. And boomerang fuck yeah I used to watch Jonny bravo teen titans and super friends and I used to sing we got a gorilla for sale with my parents man I whis I go back. but In 2015 every change Christina miller killed my child hood, when I saw the new boomerang I was pist there wasn't any flash back shows there where gay ass shows wow Christina miller you fucked up my child hood
Da3KingzZ Did Christina Miller disliked this video?
Karen Evans idk why are u asking me
Da3KingzZ Anyone who understands how utilizing content could
Yeah
I still really hate the fact that Nicktoons Network is airing those awful live-action sitcoms, in fact I thought the only reason why the air those shows is because they weren't doing so good on Nickelodeon so they decided to air those shows on Nicktoons Network as well just to boot up ratings. I thought Nicktoons was supposed to be a channel consisting of CARTOONS ONLY!
ElementalIguana Power Rangers isn't a sitcom. At least it is tolerable, and even at its worst, it is far more entertaining that those awful sitcoms ever would be.
so they are using Nicktoons to burn off failed live action sitcoms. Thats what TeenNick is for
Anthony Boodram I don't have anything against Power Rangers and in fact I'm okay with it airing on Nicktoons Network in fact it's the only live action show that should be airing on the network
Chester the House Cat I know right that's just plain wrong, not to mention Nick sports should be on Teen Nick as well airing on the weekend in the middle of the day. Instead of airing it's on Nicktoons Network on Friday nights
Thus totally negating the namesake and purpose of the Boomerang channel.
I recall someone mention in the comment section of a Cartoon Network/Boomerang rant video that there should be different types of channels regarding the various Cartoon Network channels and it went something along the lines of:
Boomerang- Old cartoons from the 1930s (maybe 1920s if there are good cartoons) to the 1980s.
You can't just make a new TV channel
They need to bring AS to the UK 🇬🇧 so here’s what I’m thinking... the boomerang thing GONE and replace it with CNRetro and AS just replace TCM cuz it would be better as a 24 hr channel and that makes as available to uk viewers but also Disney mainly made the 1930 or 1940 cartoons soooo that can’t happen
What about the in-between shows like Regular Show, Adventure Time, and Clarence that are too old to air on Cartoon Network but too new to air on Cartoon Network Retro?
@@blablabla7656 CN owns WB cartoons from the late 30's to 90's and they also own HB cartoons from the late 50's to the mid 90's.
they should give adult swim the boomerang channel
Very true.
Toonami13 Couldn't agree more.
Toonami13 i remember back like... 10 years ago, Adult Swim ran Toonheads. I think they very much should bring back those cartoons for at least part of the Adult Swim block.
I was just thinking that
Toonami13 no
I really enjoy the fact that you included the Boomeraction music. Really takes me back...
*IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO YOU*
Christina Miller: *never*
I'm a 90's kid! I love all them old shows!
Christina Millar: Good Idea But Needs More Teen Titans Go!
TEEN TITANS GO
TEEN TITANS GO
TEEEENNNN TITANNNNNNS GOOOOOOOO.
STFU!
TEEN TITANS GGGGOOOOO AWAY!
Bunnyboy King A part of me doesn't want to murder but I'll make an exception for Miller...
That show is the shining beacon of disappointment on a failed, mindless lineup
JaredGotGame j hate teen titans go it should be banned
How To Fix Boomerang: REPLAY OLDER CARTOONS!
JCGifford 087 Did Christina Miller disliked this video?
+Karen Evans think so
So how do you feel about the person who actually programs and schedules the channels, Vishnu Athreya? He's been doing this for three years now and had a reputation for spamming shows the way he does even back when he was working in CN's Asian networks.
The issue is, nemalki, that it's still under Christina Miller. She's approved the work of his scheduling.
OH SHIT IS THAT BOOMERACTION PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND!?
Yerps!
What I want to see on Boomerang is the classic Hanna Barbera, Popeye, etc. I could care less about the classic CN stuff.
My opinion I think it should go in the morning both Saturday and Sunday morning from 7:00AM-12:00PM other than that I like your idea.
TheSjsjsjsjsjs Yeah I think that could work too.
Bunnyboy King thanks
TheSjsjsjsjsjs You're welcome.
How about not calling it Boomerang but instead Kids WB with:
Weekdays
5:00am: Looney Tunes
7:00am: Tom & Jerry
9:00am: Tom & Jerry Tales
9:30am: Baby Looney Tunes
10:00am: Krypto the Superdog
10:30am: Johnny Test
11:00am: Taz-Mania
12:00pm: Tiny Toon Adventures
1:00pm: Animaniacs
2:00pm: Pinky and the Brain
3:00pm: Histeria
4:00pm: Johnny Test

6:00pm: Batman Beyond
6:30pm: Superman

Hakeem Carter cool
I love this
And more and that the reason I love boomerang
It have all the olds shows and the old cartoon Network shows from 1999 to 2017
There was a WB Kids, don't know if they still exist but their there
Boomerang should cater to people that grew up in the 90s and early 2000s with some Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes.
Cool that you included "Evil Con Carne" as part of your dream schedule (and right after its own sibling series no less)! That show needs more love.
We need to bring back the classics, like Pink Panther, Grape Ape, Droopy the Dog, Popeye and more for the daytime, then Superfriends, Justice League/Unlimited, Teen Titans, and Young Justice for the nighttime.
In Europe,Boomerang doesn't EVEN air old cartoons, even the CN ones. They air more accquired shows than original CN Shows.
Don't forget 2 Stupid Dogs.
if there was a block, I would make those three hours a weekend mini-binge with a different show every Saturday night.
what channel is boomberang on cable
Can we get a #FireChristinaMiller hash tag going?
ok so uh
turns out Boomerang has been recently showing the older CN, HB and WB content as of late 2020, mainly September, October and November, and quite possibly December.
Ed Edd, N' Eddy (September 7th - October 1st)
PowerPuff Girls (1998) (September 7th - October 1st, November 2nd - November 26th)
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (September 7th - October 1st)
Dexter's Laboratory (September 8th - October 1st, November 2nd - November 26th)
Chowder (October 1st - November 2nd)
The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (October 1st - November 2nd)
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (October 1st - November 26th)
Courage the Cowardly Dog (October 1st - November 26th)
Older Scooby Doo content has been re-shown in addition to Scoob-Tober (but it appears most of them are remaining on the schedule at this point)
Magilla Gorilla (November 26th - Present)
Jonny Quest (November 26th - Present)
Josie and the Pussycats (November 26th - Present)
Popeye (November 26th - Present) (oddly enough this show got removed from both the Boomerang app and VRV)
The Flintstones (November 26th - Present)
Top Cat (November 26th - Present)
The Huckleberry Hound Show (November 26th - Present)
The Yogi Bear Show (November 26th - Present)
Wacky Races (1968) (November 26th - Present)
Great idea you should send this video to Cartoon Network
Old Boomerang: "It's all coming back to you." New Boomerang: "It's all coming back to you (for like 10 Minutes)."
Let us bow our heads for the fallen member of turner #RipBoomerang
If they did that I would watch Adult Swim every Saturday from 8pm to like 3am. Probably the best idea I've ever heard.
How to fix boomerang
1. Remove teen titans go
2. Add classic cartoons
3. add classic cartoons bumpers
4. Bring the old boomerang logo back
5. Enjoy!
all of your videos are amazing and your idea for boomerang is great. Keep up the good work
Thanks!
I only found this channel today and I love your videos
Having boomerang as a block like cartoon planet would be genius
KILL BOOMERANG??!!! No. Just fix it. People absolutely want it back!
i miss huckleberry hound and the old school classic vintage toy bumpers
I really like this concept a lot. Especially since you mentioned that Cartoon Network has tons of old cartoons in their library. Give us the old Boomerang logo (or something that is reminiscent of the old logo, like The Splat does), old bumpers, and less commercials. Then I will be very happy. To the point that I will watch the block every Saturday night. But that’s just me.
You know what? I didn't know who Christina Miller was until I saw this channel. She's the reason we don't have Scary Godmother anymore!
what's that.
1:04 that music that plays sounds so familiar does anyone know what it is
Boomeraction
I used to watch boomerang forever and I loved huckleberry Finn and now it's looney toons show
cheese bandit You mean huckleberry hound?
My childhood...
Er, younger childhood. I'm 13.
I have gold memories of my dad and I sitting down on the couch for dinner and watching scooby doo, Johnny bravo, courage, all the old shows.
now we have tom acheim as president, he might heal boomerang back to its original self
This is a brilliant idea.
And the boomerang channel becomes a 24 hour adult swim
Unfortunately, Boomerang is the only channel that airs my show now, because CN moved it there (despite it still being an on-going show???). Thanks Miller, for making it impossible for most fans of said show to watch it (at least legally), since most of us can't afford to get Boomerang. :')
I feel Bopomerang is slowly getting fixed. I mean, all Thanksgiving weekend this year they're playing nothing but classic cartoons from the 60s and 70s. :)
It just Tom and Jerry Scooby Doo looney Tunes all Day every day
@@labpman7227 Yeah, but not on Thanksgiving weekend.
I miss the old boomerang
I think it's a good concept but what about the shows on Adult Swim that premiere on Saturday's?
This sounds awesome.
I hope CN learns how to reboot a classic show PROPERLY.
Look what they did to PPG and Ben 10, they're Horrendous.
We the young adults in our 20s NEED the old cartoon network and boomerang BACK!
They could put a prime time toonami block on boomerang
Theyre kinda doing this with Checkered Past (although instead of eating Adult Swim's time it's rating Cartoon Network's time which is dumb)
Meanwhile outside of the bumpers Boomerang seems to be doing pretty well for itself
ITS NOT FAIR THAT THE UK BOOMERANG STILL HAS CLASSIC CARTOONS!
WHAT IS THE BACKGROUND MUSIC?
What's that song in the background?
oh wait that's boomeraction.
You know it ;)
The future looks dark for animation.
You sound like bob from bobs burgers
Really? Awesome.
Or Saturdays and Sundays, from 6AM to 8PM can be Boomerang Time. But that may not be such a good idea.
Yeah, I would rather see Cartoon Network on weekends have a variety of current cartoons.
or saturdays and sundays 6pm to 10pm
I feel like this should be on Fridays instead.
Instead of a three hour saturday block, how about a 6 hour block every weekday from 9a-3p
9:00am: Dexter's Laboratory
10:00am: Johnny Bravo
11:00am: Courage the Cowardly Dog
12:00pm: The Powerpuff Girls
1:00pm: Ed, Edd n Eddy
2:00pm: Codename: Kids Next Door
When one show finishes it's run, take that show off and add another.
Saturdays 12p-6p
Sundays 12p-4p
Why don't they just air the early 2000s' classics like the "Powerpuff Girls", "Ed, Edd n' Eddy", etc. It's not like the classics are easy to find anyway. You are right this is the best way to use all of their properties.
I feel bad what the kids are missing those days😢
At Least Steven Universe was decent for these trying times, but kids should check out the older shows, because if they keep seeing crap like Teen Titans Go, they will have no real taste and no view of what a GOOD cartoon is like.
I think CN can easily add a "Boomerang" for every weekday
Monday - Hannah Barbera (Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby Doo)
Tuesday - Looney Tunes & MGM (Buggs Bunny, Tom and Jerry...)
Wednesday - Super Heroes (various DC series, Power Rangers...)
Thursday - Cartoon Cartoons/CN originals (Dexter, Courage, Regular Show...)
Friday - Indie shows/Pilots
Saturday - Others/Foreign shows (Total Drama, Jhonny Test, Bunnicula...)
Sunday - Completely random series
I'm from Mexico, sorry for any grammar mistake or American schedule unawareness.
You forgot to put 2 Stupid Dogs in the schedule. That's my favorite show on Boomerang.
*Looking At Thumbnail* Oh This Should Be Verry FUN
I hear boomeraction
What I would do is integrate more of CN's previous shows from the 90s thru 2010 rebrand into the daytime schedule along with the newer shows. Then, from say 11pm to 5 am, would be Boomerang Retro, where They could use the old logo, play Hanna Barbera shows, and maybe use old bumpers. It's not feasible to run these programs all day, but there is still interest in them nonetheless. And it would be way better than the channel is now.
Didn't they already try the block concept in 2012 with Cartoon Planet? It didn't last long, I'll tell you that...
8 PM to 11 PM WOULD SHOW OLDER MORE ADULT CARTOONS LIKE THE FLINTSTONES.
I just wish we could bring this to Millers attention.
Turn it back to the way it was before the 2015 rebrand (old commercials, old toy models, old logo, etc.)
Bring back Boomeraction and Boomerang-a-long and other old blocks
Air shows from the 40s-80s + classic CN shows from 90s/2000s
Get rid of anything from 2010 onwards and put them back on to Cartoon Network (because they're too recent and they don't fit on the channel)
If the boomerang streaming was organized better
He’s also been in a soap opera since the show went off. Think he was lead recently
They should give all old cartoons that exist or most of them life by genre blocks on Boomerang.
I think this would definitely work
I made a Change.org petition to fix Boomerang. On it I basically wrote how they could make it like it was in 2000, and how it could have new stuff with it. Like, why not have Regular show, or Foster with all those Hannah Barbara cartoons?
im crying im so glad to hear that background music i miss that music
To be honest though, even if Christina Miller tries to fix Boomerang Network, I doubt it's gonna happen because the damage has already done since its re-brand and its streaming service...
song name?
While this is good..
If it's a block on CN that means it would be Cartoonito to CN, CN to Boomerang, Boomerang to [adult swim], and so on. (There's also Toonami)
So CN would be Cartoonitoami [adult] Boomernetwork.
Boomerang needs to bring back The Powerpuff Girls (original) & The Flintstones.
They should just get an old employee or intern or a creator of one of older cartoons to become the new head of CN. Someone familiar with the channel. They shouldn't get people who don't know how to run a channel.
Project: Filmmaker Jim Samples? Ted Turner? Betty Cohen?
ShadZyPlayZ yeah
I used to watch boomerang all the time so Christina Miller killed my childhood
Should we go to the Cartoon Network website and send feedback to them so they can fix boomerang and toonami and fix the timeslots
I don't ever see Dexter's Laboratory or ed edd and eddy or the original Powerpuff Girls or courage the cowardly dog that's the kind of stuff that should be on boomerang
I feel you can do this CN til 8, Boomerang til 11, toonnami til 3
Then adult swim til 7. Toonami and Boomerang need to come on everyday. Saturday only is not going to work.
Maybe they could also take some time early morning, and air it from 4-7? 6 shows a week doesn't sound like enough.
I agree with this but where's chowder and flapjack?
Put back the Original Old Boomerang and take off new Boomerang, because I hate it so much.
How to really fix it:
Make it so it shows old kid cartoon from all famous channels like Nick, Cartoon Network, Disney XD, PBS Kids, and more.
And put famous old shows like DuckTales, Ed Ed & Eddy, Rugrats, Cat & Dog, Old Pokémon, and more.
And make it so ( if they can ), air old kids movies like Disney Movies and other famous old movies.
Good concept, but toonami is what's holding u back, since Toonami is on Saturday nights, I think u should move it to weekdays from 7-9/10
