It all depends what kind of work you are doing? If you are using cameras with SDI outputs only, then you need something way more advanced. If you are doing simple projects like I showed here, this is good enough.

What is the quality of the "program out" line cut compared to the quality of each camera if you had recorded each individually in the camera. To be clear, if I record 4K in my cameras, will my "program out" feed/recording be of comparable quality or will there be a noticeable difference in quality/resolution?
Additionally, is there a max resolution for the inputs similar to the Blackmagic ATEM Mini or can I actually send a 4k feed?

Will this record individual videos for each camera in 4K?

This will only record the live program. If you need to re-cut later, then you need to record into each camera's internal media.
