He couldn't resist adding the donut at the end 🍩😂
Lmao ikr
I died out laughing lol
or couldn't be bothered to cut it, who knows
All you earth globists need to realize the truth. The earth isn't round. Neither flat. The earth is clearly toroidal.
He should rebrand as "Donut Guru" at that point.
I absolutely love how the doughnut has just become the staple of what all blender users learn first. Wonderful brand idea, whether it was planned or not! 🍩
I just finished my first doughnut like 2 weeks ago. :)
The Donut is for Blender what "Hello World" is for Coding.
@@MrMiyagi005 yes exactly 😂
@@laaven Congrats! I think it's been like 2 years and 2 months since I first finished mine!
@@laaven Just started mine 😅
The clouds look amazing! Looking forward to seeing how you did them
0:36 the real earth shape😂
In that first shot, I think you might've confused the Sodium layer in your reference with clouds. Looking at real images, I'm seeing the telltale yellow band of Sodium appearing at about where your clouds are. In reality clouds should be much lower (like 1/3-1/4 altitude). ...but absolutely beautiful! Well done!
I didn't knew that
@@Diskaria”i didnt knew that”
This is probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen
The things people can do in blender is just insane!
Created this same thing (sans donut) in After Effects using Orb. Looking forward to trying it out in Blender! Looks awesome. As always!
Damnnn!! That looks realistic and also the music is nice🤌👌👍
This is a complex version of a donut, and I love it :)
This is literally just plugging textures to a sphere
Amazing like always
Always my Blender Guru!
Well done Mr.Price, the work is amazing another wake up call for even more people to start use this software!
Thanks to your video and tutorial, I was able to craft and render my planet from my story I am working on! Props to you Blender Guru
I tried to learn blender to do stuff like this some day.
Let's just say I'm still learning.
Me too😝😝😝
Huh? Watch the tutorial. He shows you every click and key you need to press to make that Earth.
Me too 😂
I wish you the best :)
@@Dingle.Donger Yes. It's easy to follow the step by step tutorial and clicking to the places. Click* Click*
But I think that the original comment meant that he wants to do it himself, and not just following the tutorial.
You are a Master, well done absolutely amazing!
Great job ! 👏
neat
hope to see more planet content in the future
Wow that was good! Bravo 👏
Great job ! 👌
This is outstanding!
Awesome Work!!
Its amazing that ppl can do this
Beautiful! 👍
keep up the good work man
Very nice. The edge of the atmosphere is way to difined after all there is no real edge but elswise stunning.
Thank you for thé tuto. Good job once again !
I think this should be the intro for Planet Earth... (without the donut!)
Awesome !
Another great video
Amazing !!😱👏
Beautiful
Impressive, very nice.
13 seconds in and this looks incredible, impressive that we can make things like this
Looking forward to the "Blender animation made with earth" video
Mr. Guru. Do you plan to dive into short video clip making? Your step by step tutorials are some of the best online.
made my day !
Wonderful
umm andrew, this is so unrealstic the earth is completely flat not round
Awesome
Damn this is so good, This is tutorial time for me i guess !
Wow this is smashing, just like Vasko Žabata
Do you have any tutorials on how to animate something like this, it’s so smooth and I have no clue how to do it
awesome
Best teacher for it
I was unable to do the donut for a second time but somehow I could follow through with this and manage to make a blender earth model in around 1-2 hours
Epic 👍👍
Love it
wow, awesome
Beautiful work! I know most of the Blender basics but I still struggle with animating smooth camera. And I have no idea how to add that sun glare effect
If youre referring to the 0:19, it was probably a glare node added in compositor to the light. Not sure if Blender has built in lens flare options without installing addons. Anybody correct me if Im wrong.
@@Bassquake76 Thanks so mcuh for the help
i still didin't give up, im gonna finish the donut and then i will make this
🥲
This is super 😍😍😍
Thanks 4 all your help bro 😎 You HELPED me ALOT!!! With blender thx man 👍🇷🇴
love the ending
Nice!!!
woah 🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍
Super nice and have a great day
Awesom content broo👍👍👍👍
Your name is God given. Indeed a Guru
Man at this point is there anything he can't make 😂 what a 🐐
cool
Dope
This makes me want to be in that world.
The cheeky donut in the end
Great
After i complete my donut i will try this
...wundervoll, einfach nur wundervoll! (trotz dem Donut 😉)
Here before this wonderful donut video gets a million views
It's all about the textures baybee!
You are Best ❤️
The donut at the end is how the earth appears in Galactus' eyes
I can't wait to find someone who thinks that space is fake just to say: "Yeah I work at the CGI department at Nasa, look, here's the Earth model we use to fake the broadcasts" lmao
That tutorial was dope man really great i have only 1 problem i dont know how to resolve and it the glossy direct map the glare we put on it works like in the tutorial but i have some bad that there to a huge unrealistic star on the side of the planet. i dont know how to get rid of that. i lokked the tutorial 3 times, i entered each value correctly..but the problem is still there
That's so cool, how do I make cube again?
Nice video
Yup. That's earth.
The true shape of the earth is finally revealed
I tried following this tutorial, but my version of Blender didn't have the lighting tab for some reason. I have it installed on two different machines with different specs, one much newer than the other, so it's not the hardware causing the system not to pick up on that. I've looked everywhere to see if there's a way of enabling it, but couldn't find anything so I've given up for now and moved on to something else.
@BlenderGuru what are the camera movements you used,,,a tutorail maybe?
It really looks amazing but something looks off in the first shot.
damn bro you seen the earth from that angle?
It's the atmosphere. Its like a paper thin layer instead of going to the surface
Yeah there's a lot I'd change about most of the shots here if I had more time, but I'm trying to be stricter with my upload schedule.
So I called it done so I can move onto the next tutorial 🙃
The world is going (do)nuts!
Can you make geo layers like after effects in blender? If yes please share tutorial
Reject flat-earth theory
Embrace Donut Earth
That's so cool but am I the only one to find the clouds of the first shot low-poly ?
The into shot felt really weird... almost like I could see the faces of the sphere used or sth. But all in all nice stuff :)
I made the same thing in C4D, I even had the city lights appear on the shadow side of the earth. Your render is 1000x better though. 👍
in some way the day/night transistor is weird, maybe it is the fact the the clouds all disappear at night...
you've gotta make a tutorial for a donut earth.
Do you think you could create a new flame thrower tutorial as your first one is a bit dated? I cant seem to find any tutorials that do it full justice
Blender has come such a long way...
If you pause it at 0:37 the Earth is a doughnut.
💯💯💯
Blender guru is just amazing
Lights on a "dark side" looks a bit flat and low res compare to "light side". Light side looks great tho
Wow
BRO THE DONUT AT THE END
hi can you answer the question. I want to update Blender to the latest version, I need to reinstall all the addons that I installed earlier, or is there another solution
🤣that donut.... It haunts him whenever he forgots to add donut in video🤣
As good as the nasa cgi!
Wow I remember Andrew Kramer made a tutorial on how to do this in AE
Are you the second coming?
i believe in donut's supremacy
