imagine everyone on earth was a nudist and it would be weird to see someone wearing clothes

It's the opposite for me though, I have people tell me that I'm too short and too skinny, but unless someone says something, I don't think about what I look like, it's not important to me.

fr it pulls on my skin and begins to hurt after a while. not to mention you can’t walk up stairs or run/walk fast … just wearing a bra and shorts is so much more practical and still can feel freeing
3 years post top surgery, but it could be 300 and I'd still remember running down the stairs braless. Ouch

1:07 my first exposure to “non-sexual nudity” was in middle eastern hammams, where you’d be surrounded by naked women, scrubbed by an almost-naked woman, everywhere…and lounge around naked afterward surrounded by strangers in the steam. Nothing sexual at all about it, although of course there’s a lot of beauty there.
My second exposure was living in Germany, where it’s super normal for families to swim and lounge naked together next to lakes. Seeing a harried dad assembling sandwiches or a mom and her kids lying on the grass naked together really reshaped my view of nudity and seeing it more as just something natural instead of something sexual really changed my life. We’ve all got mostly the same stuff going on…no big deal.
Loved this comment! I’m an American living in Germany and Germans’ level of nudity was at first shocking but now quite normal and refreshing. People sunbathing in the parks nude, my neighbor sunbathing on his balcony in the buff, co-Ed steam room at the gym, folks swimming nude at some lakes - all pretty normal to me now.
A few years ago while in Turkey, I went to a Turkish bath for men - I was so prudish but after a few minutes, being surrounded by many different body types and recognizing there’s nothing sexual or shameful about it, I relaxed and it was a liberating experience.
For me, it was a realization of how we’ve been conditioned to be shameful about nudity.

I never considered that nudity/being a nudist can be a relief for people with texture sensitivities/nuerodivergent people. Thanks for opening my mind to different perspectives!
I don't really consider myself a nudist, but I really only wear clothes when I have to. I am on the spectrum and clothing is just SO uncomfortable. Especially when it's hot out.
I struggle with texture sensitivities and being nude in a blanket it the best feeling of all for me and wish it weren’t so sexualized because it really is just comfortable. I also love flowy dresses as they are very comfortable!
It's so nice to hear/see another girl who is more comfortable in a bra and uncomfortable not wearing one. I can go without one for bed, but to just go about my day, I need a bra to mentally feel comfortable

I am a nudist by myself at home but I have aspirations to be nude outdoors and around others. One of my greatest worries in life is meeting somebody wonderful who doesn’t like this part of myself and then I would have to either continue hiding it or break up with them.

I relate to the last woman. I also had a gastric bypass 10 years ago and lost 200lbs and it's true that it can be rough dating since people tend to react negatively (though I'm always up front about everything) to the disconnect between what people expect when they see you with your clothes on versus off. Actually much easier to date as a heavier person since that disconnect isn't there. Almost makes you want to be a never-nude.
That’s a really interesting perspective that makes a lot of sense. I also had WLS, and am 15 months post op and it was not successful for me, I only lost about 40 lbs from starting weight (30 from surgery day). Super discouraging

Speaking as another woman who has has gastric bypass surgery I can also confirm the extra skin is uncomfortable to see even for the person who had the surgery. It causes a lot of self-esteem/ self image problems.
This video really has me considering becoming a nudist. It seems so freeing and the community seems incredibly accepting and body positive! So maybe I’ll try out a nude beach soon!

Because it’s a little unsanitary for me. Exposing your genitals to surfaces not cleaned or replaced daily (i.e. unlike underwear) seems like a good way to get an infection.
For some of us, it has to do with how we were raised or with our own mental health issues regarding our body. Hell, I have trouble being nude around myself due to my own issues.

I love at least 165lbs in a year. 70lbs in three months. I have thyroid issues that flip flop. I was down to 140lbs and now I’m at 230lbs-ish because I’m hypo and no one will help me. I’m now terrified of doctors due the being assaulted by a hospital worker and then involuntarily committed as a coverup. I already was terrified of them. I’m going to call a different cities police after this…waiting to hear from my lawyer. I have everything in receipts that happened because when he came back in my room he gave me his number. I wasn’t the first. I relate to the lady that happened to. I have been with multiple people since. It’s actually the abusive of my last ex combined with weight gain and a lot of death that has caused me to cut all people off…sad…they don’t care though. I also hate being naked and I don’t have AC in summer heat. Never was I judged at my lowest weight though.
