This Woman is one of the most talented Musicians in Nashville today! I just love her style! I've been following her on utube for about a year now. She's come a long way from her 600 Pounds of Sin years, to now. Much luck Miss Sierra in your music career! Love you!
I'm not sure if I have heard her before. I don't recognize her name, but what's in a name anyway. I've been nameless for some time now. seems everyone has one but me. Or maybe, I have too many?!? Anyway, I like her sound a lot
The way she never plays the same song twice is incredible. And her guitar on this song has gotten so much more intricate since she released the first audio version
Between Sierra Ferrell, Charley Crockett and a few others, there is still hope for real Country music. They stand apart from the junk like diamonds in a pile of scrap. Keep on with it. Please.
@@Shotty30 check into anything listed as Texas country or red dirt country. That music has been around for decades, but now falls under Americana. Look up Shane Smith and the saints, American aquarium, Paul Cauthen, William Prince, turnpike troubadours, Leah Blevins
I heard Sierra Ferrell for the first time ever only 3 weeks ago, and what a genius artist, guitar player, singer and singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell is. I've been listening carefully to all the greatest female artists for many, many years: Janis Joplin, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Kitty Wells, Eva Cassidy, Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline to name some of them. Hence, I just want say that a new genius and monumental star, large as a Universe, is born and her name is Sierra Ferrell. I personally put Sierra Ferrell on the top of the podium. So happy that I found Sierra Ferrell and her music.
When I listen to Sierra it takes me back to a simpler time, i picture a life that could have been, a big farm house with a wrap around porch, a beautiful wife and kids running about. Then the music stops and reality sets back in; the modern way of life sucks and if I was a better man I'd take my self out of it...
She's just so amazing... I've seen her live, and what you see on UA-cam is what you get... she's literally that good. The sound that comes from her seems almost effortless. It was all just meant to be, what a gift to music.
She does seem effortless. Talent oozes out of her. But remember she's had several years of intensive busking experience and knows a lot of songs (is like a human jukebox!) so that experience has stood her in good stead
Love ya girl!!!😘😘😘😘 so do my daughters. I play all your tunes on my ukulele and I love that they can enjoy your songs with me. We turn you up loud in the truck every morning and every evening at the house. Good mood to get us started for the day and good mood to sleep on.
Hey Mama, I'm not much of a country music fan, or I should say I don't like pop country. I do very much enjoy your throw back style. This is a great tune performed by a great artist. Thank you.

Well... it's been over over an hour and counting on replay. Absolute proof that some music can get you high!!! So damn good! My mind is currently blown!!
Last year country music lost one the greats... Jerry Jeff Walker. He is my absolute favorite country/folk singer. I say this with all respect... Sierra... you have Jerry Jeff's spirit in you.
Saw her at folk fest in Calgary as part of an artist collaborative session and was blown away. Didn’t know who she was, didn’t go see her on purpose and she was the easily highlight of the entire festival.
I just found this woman and I am speechless to her sound. It is like going back 70 years.
70 years ago with better recording quality! She's my favorite!
She sounds like she’s in an old radio she has a haunting old timey voice I love it
Ditto.
Yeah man She’s incredible
Sierra is as big as Dolly and Loretta. She's just larger than life. A slice of Americana.:)
How did you get into my head?
I have an unreasonable crush on this human.
Be in line I was there before😂
❤😢OMG she is the absolute best in my lifetime
Beautiful melodic voice. One of the best voices in country / bluegrass in a long time in my opinion.
Just saw her in Telluride. It was enchanting!
Agreed
🩷 YES 💯
Easily one of the best voices in the business right now! She makes it look so easy.
True Country ❤
It ain't just right now... all time

Draws you in. It’s like a magnetic force. I love everything about her.
Legend. Share this woman's music like an angry hellfire Baptist.
Love the cat reaching through the doorway at 1:55 :D
The kitty poking its head in and Sierra noticing then fighting back the smile was a good touch.

why is this girl still not famous her voice is crazy
Just like that….and now she is.
She is famous. I am from argentina and now she´s got a new fan level unlocked.

The live clip of 600 Pounds of Sin doing "29" is totally awesome. So is this.
@@beaksofeagles Agreed. I'd like to see her do more "29" type songs....that performance is a masterpiece.

She reminds me of a cross between Tenille Townes and a country Adele
I got goosebumps and my eyes teared up when I heard her voice. She is incredible. THIS is music.
I'm not crying.... 😂
She is the absolute best 🥲🩷💯
I love when it’s her and her guitar….. PERFECTION
No doubt 😎 I LOVE cranking her music in the kitchen and watching them heads turn 😂
Thank you ❤️😊
Yes, totally agree. The more stripped down she is the better (no perv). She's just absolutely amazing.
Me too. That's all I need. I love all the little nuances in her voice
You ain't just whistling Dixie. What a gem she is.
Just her voice, a guitar, and a cat peeking around the corner
Sorry I’m late too the party, but her voice is a breath of fresh air to music.
That voice is unreal
I've never experienced "love at first sight" but if it's anything like the "Love at first words" I just experienced, I wish it upon you all.
Well, it’s a cover. So, go find your true love, go go go!
@@RyaBread300 Oh you funny! I sought and I found, HIM 😂🤣
You should tell us about it from the back of the line 😆

The way she never plays the same song twice is incredible. And her guitar on this song has gotten so much more intricate since she released the first audio version
Thank you for the 😁 if "her guitar on this song" has gotten more intricate... Wouldn't she have played the same song at least twice...
Is it just me, or has anyone else fallen in love with just the way she sings "mama" in this song? Something about it tugs at the eternal heartstrings.
I'm in love with her music. I don't understand how such simplicity can be so moving and enchanting. She's sublime!
It’s called soul.
Compared to what is popular these days... Sierra might as well be Sibelius.
Not only was this a very beautiful song, but can we just take a moment to appreciate how aesthetically pleasing this video looks.
solo guitar just feels so much more personal, and Sierra's vocals just give the air all the magic it needs. Perfect.
It’s her partner in crime. She is so her, no pretensions, just pure soul.
What solo guitar? What are you guys talking about? She’s the only one playing. Am I missing something?
@@Factory_Muff they mean that no need for a band, her voice and the guitar is all you need to make it amazing
Omg the cat playing with the chords 😭
Dunno HOW the algorithm showed me your stuff, but I am HOOKED on your "old soul" singing voice.

We can change that friend, God bless.
There's something raw and authentic about this woman. This sounds like country to me. I hope she keeps making a living at it.
Is that a cat begins the door trying to get in answering to Sierra at 1:52? "Where have you been for so long?" 😻
She learned how to make her imperfections on vocals to as close to perfection as humanly possible with many years of busking.
That voice...that strumming, those bass runs. Unbelievably good country music.
This girl's got it
Two for One...The amazing Sierra Ferrell, and more than a gentle reminder that Ray Lamontagne can write a helluva song...
It’s pretty obvious this is what the people want to hear😊
Love the cat trying to get in on the action!❤
There's nobody like you, lady. Thanks, again.
❤️my goodness! It’s always a pleasure to see and hear anything from you Sierra! No one has a more beautiful voice and presence.
