Great idea with the mesh produce bags over the open jars - I’m gonna have to try this with the yogurt! So cheap for a can of coco-cream and I always have probiotics on the go too.
I was just thinking about you 2 days ago and wondering when I would see your beautiful face in an awesome food video!! Great video as always and I enjoy watching all the things you make so much! Yes, I am a burner and also a boil things over type myself lol Thanks for all the awesome ideas and recipes you so kindly share with us! xoxo
Always love watching your videos, Faith. I also bought your cookbook and will look through it to find a couple of recipes to prep for the upcoming week. Your making waffles reminded me that I have pancakes in the fridge for breakfast! I retired last year in August so no more getting up at 5:20. Now I aim for 7 a.m. because I hate getting up in the dark.
Thank You, I really enjoyed your craft/artwork🖼️ 1st time viewing your channel and I'm looking forward to trying the recipes. I Appreciate The Inspiration🤗
I have always been a morning person too Faith. I get up at 6 am but going to start and try 5 am as it does give you more time to do a few things before work. Thank you for all your inspiring videos. I am thankful Eat, Move, Rest sent me your way.
Hi Faith! I've never made kombucha before, but now I really want to try! How do you store the scoby after you have bottled the brew? And how long does it stay "fresh"? Do you have to use it on a schedule (like feeding your sourdough starter)? Thanks for your videos!
I store mine in 1 cup of kombucha in the fridge in an airtight container. I just try to make sure my scoby is covered with kombucha while it sits in the fridge. Then I just pull it out when I’m ready to start brewing another batch. We always go through out bottles in a couple weeks but I think they could last way longer!
I got it from a friend! Every time you make kombucha the scoby grows another layer, so if you have a friend that makes it, they’ll have plenty to share. Otherwise you can buy it!
I would be curious how long all do that took? I never thought to do as soon as you wake up. I also get up at 5 but always enjoy some quiet time with coffee and breakfast before doing any meal prep for the week.
It takes longer filming. It would probably take me a couple hours. And I don’t usually meal prep food every morning. Maybe only 1x a month! I love my quiet, relaxed mornings to drink tea and read too ☺️ I can usually squeeze cooking and meal prep into my day while my kiddos are playing
Google describes a scoby as "a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast used in the production of kombucha." My definition is that it's a weird, squishy thing that somehow makes kombucha! You can buy them online or my favorite way to get one is from a friend. Every time you make kombucha, your scoby grows another layer. So usually people who make kombucha have extra to give away!

Faith! I finally did meal prep. Mine took me all day tho😢. But I have enough for a week so I'm happy.🎉 Also I like to get up at about 5:30 a.m❤
Would a vinegar mother work for kambucha???
@@craftynanatracy3108 I've never heard of a vinegar mother! You mean something like apple cider vinegar? I'm not sure!
Yay I’m so happy you posted this
Thanks for watching!
Another great video Faith!!!! Yay!!!
Thanks Skye!

Unrequested instruction: "bruschetta" is said with a "k", it's "brusketta" 😊
Really appreciate coconut yogurt!
Thank you again for your videos

Somedays I have to sleep in, but I love when my body wakes me up at 5. Lots of quiet time to myself is my favorite way to start the day ☺️

I’ve wanted to try my hand at making kombucha for a while now. Do you ever flavor yours? Thanks for sharing!
I haven’t yet because I like the plain flavor so much! I sometimes add a splash of apple juice to my cup and that is such a good combo ☺️
If I'm trying to multitask I definitely could accidentally burn stuff!! 😂 Using a timer is a great way to avoid it!!
Yes! I sometimes need two!
Where are your glass food storage containers from?? They seem like such wonderful and uncommon sizes. I want some! Haha
Most of my rectangle and square containers are from ikea!
Faith where do you get Scoby mother for the kambucha?
I got it from a friend! Every time you make kombucha the scoby grows another layer, so if you have a friend that makes it, they’ll have plenty to share. Otherwise you can buy it!

kombucha: please define a 'scoby' and where do you get one? dts/usa

pasta salad: I would have blended the sundried tomatoes into a paste with oil...dts/usa
Sounds great!
i like to wake up early and start my day at 6am
Good on you, I wish I could get up early but I just can't!!! 😂
Nice!
