Maria Callas did not lose her amazing voice. She just lost her confidence as a prima donna to sing in public.
She should have been more confident and trusted herself. I wish she had recorded this aria as an artist.

She was in good voice and just afraid of the high stuff for no reason.. sh e needed a coach who ssaid YES you can!

Naaaah, she didn't have the stamina, the middle voice, the support and strength anymore for years already. One beautiful phrase here and there doesn't make you able to perform on stage. Nevertheless, she still had the perfect coloratura, the phrasing and of course her unique artistry.
