To have a sword that changes the finishers is something else. It's literally the best sword and almost the best weapon in the entire game and you can get it almost at the beginning if you want. It also looks cool
The animators for sure. The sound designers... not so much evidently, since the sound design on most of the kills in this game is pretty terrible (clicky clangy blade noises that don't sound like someone being stabbed, sometimes completely out of sync with what's going on). Which sucks, because I love everything else about this game.
Vlad wasn't blood-thirsty, though. Cruel, yes, but not blood-thirsty. He was cruel only to criminals & The Ottomans that invaded his country. You guys only think Vlad Dracula as that fictional vampire written by Bram Stoker.
A little fact about Vlad Dracul Tepes... Yes he's basically the "First vampire" as he had a syndrome that he thristed for Blood.. But the fact I want to tell is that.. Vlad was Extremely cruel... as he always practiced impaling people, But he always makes sure that he misses the Heart, so that their deaths aren't quick... But excruciatingly painful... This Fictional sword that Ezio has, Embodies the Soul of Vlad Dracul Tepes..
Eventhough the sword and the Animations looked rad, I always felt like they didn't really fit ezio. Ezio was an ultimate killing machine, yes - but he always remained elegant about it and in Ac 2 and Brorherhood he never seemed like someone who takes pleasure in killing. The finishers were impressive but somehow quick and in most cases looked like the quickest way to dispatch the enemy. While in Revelations it sometimes feels barbaric and unnecessarily cruel (like the slow throat slashing), as if Ezio became more bloodthirsty with age instead of taking killing as a necessary evil.
He does live his life killing Templars. So at this point, this type of killing would have considered as “normal killing” to him. Especially the trauma in AC2 and Brotherhood that made him even more brutal.
What do you expect he is old here and tired which is constantly hinted throughout the game not to mention him being done with the order of assassins by this point most noticeable when he literally disregards all the tenants of the creed and breaks them just so he can bend it to his own will without really thinking it through which is fine imo it shows that he is human and it shows that the past trauma that he has lived through changed his character
I think the more people you kill the more desensitized you get when it comes killing in general. Not saying Ezio enjoys killing but he certainly doesn’t mind killing, so I just can’t see why he would care how his enemies die. Also I am pretty sure if you impale some guy in his mouth all the way with 1 meter sword I am sure he will die very very quickly, it is just as effective, maybe it only looks more brutal.
@@daddydallas4789 not really, that's just some easter eggs and like another one said before, he's old and tired in this game so he have less strength, he can't do like he did before.
