Exciting journey ahead. So many questions, but will wait for you to tell them in your next videos. The toy hauler is the way to go, I would love to get a deal on one. Was it slightly used, or new, and are you pulling it with a F150? Curious how it does with load.
Yesss we are def still answering our own questions as well 🤣. The toy hauler is a 2020 model and was the exact floor plan we were looking for…. So far it seems to be holding all of the stuff we are bringing but we paired down A LOT … lol. We had actually been slowly getting rid of things for the last couple of years and not really knowing why .. just felt like we wanted less “stuff” lol. So that has served us well so far on this journey…. The F150 did really well pulling it when it was empty. We’ll see how it does now that it’s full !! Well keep you posted !!
@@MahansRacing Campers and Boats are similar, save a lot of money on slightly used. One issue I have with one is that my HOA says you can't have them visible, so people that have them have to rent somewhere to store them. In your case, no worry about an HOA anymore! Safe travels to SC. We have had some warm but wet weather this week, but I am sure you will bring some cold weather south.😆
I think you have the older model Honda for your practice bike? Any concerns about putting a lot of time on that one and then jumping on the newer chasis for races? From what I understand the new year bike is quite a bit different? Thanks and best of wishes to your family! -Korry
Hello! Yes the 2023 is the practice bike and the 25 is to race. The 25 is much much more stable and predictable for me so far .. I love the 23 but it is a bit harsh and twitchy. So what we’ve done is sent the suspension on the 23 out to get it as close to the 25s plushness and predictability as we can .. They are close enough that I feel for my skill level I’ll be fine. I’m not fast enough yet to notice the difference much beyond that lol.
Watching from Oswego ny. We are looking at a toy hauler also about the same size as yours. Wondering how your half ton towed it. We have a half ton as well
Hello!!! We haven’t towed it full of our stuff just yet .. but drt it towed really well actually. No problem doing 55-70 pretty much everywhere. Gas mileage was pretty low. lol. About 8-9mph lol. Best of luck to you guys. Any other questions we can answer let us know. We will surely try lol
Hello! As for right now I’ve owned my own seasonal business in the wedding industry for a good period of time, this allows us to have quite a bit of time in the winter months to travel down south and train/ride/ and live. I don’t have any expectations of making a living actually racing, but since this is what I’m most passionate about, we will most likely be looking for something to create in the industry to help us continue to live this lifestyle even more deeply. Eventually transitioning out of the original business I created when I was looking to shift out of corporate life 🏁
@ nice, I’m grateful to have an awesome career in the space industry but dream of taking our travel trailer on the road with the kids. But I’ll never be able to work remotely so we will have to stick to weekend warriors. Best of luck to you, I’m a little jealous.

Just curious what you do for a living or how you plan on making a living being a full time amateur racer?
