Wow! What great options for 2025 planners! I tend to like things more free form, so the Hobino and Stalogy would be my top picks, followed by the Aura Estelle. Thanks for another great video!
That 2025 Wonderland looks awesome. I agree with your preference for A5 - though really I am just glad to find out that they exist - this seems like a *really* nice sweet spot between pre-filled calendar pages etc. and bullet journaling.
These planners are fountain pen friendly using either Midori or Tomoe River paper. Recent giveaway winners are also eligible. 8 winners will be chosen. In order they were picked by the app, each winner will be allowed to pick which planner they want from the remaining items.
I've been late getting my planner for 2025, I was laid off and still haven't gotten a job. I love the Hobonichi and the Hibino, I'm a big fan of their products! And yeah, I subbed for the giveaway but you've got some great content!
I really like that Wonderland 222. No need to slice pages if I win it. Thanks for the review! This will really help me chose a planner if I don't win. Hope you have a fantastic Holiday season and a great 2025!
I’ve never heard of the Aura Estelle planner so thanks for sharing. I use undated Midori notebooks for journaling but would love to try a Hobonichi techo A6 (or cousin) for 2025. What a generous giveaway. 😊
Thanks for the review of these great planners for 2025. What a tough choice, since they all look great. Wonderland222 looks so functional and useful. I like the bundling of the Aurastelle also with the month and then the weeks following immediately.
Beautiful video, it was therapeutic! I love writing journals coz they're very liberating. And when on the topic i love to collect cool books as well, you made my hunt for my 2025 journal easy. Thanks! Hope you have an amazing year!
We have the same taste in planners! I loved my Hibino but I couldn’t keep up. I’ve heard of the Wonderland and I believe it has a good following. Keep making nice videos!!!
I love hearing your thoughts on the planners and your thoughts on the different sizes. I've been trying to decide on the direction I want to take for 2025. A5 seems to be my happy spot, but I'm still not sure if I've found the right planner for me. Thank you for the wonderful review!
I don't do any planning, but I could use anything that's just basically a standard notebook. The year is almost over, it's already Christmas time. Hopefully 2025 won't go by as fast as 2024. Thank you so much, and Merry Christmas.
What a really comprehensive review for these. I have been searching for my 2025 planners and these were good choices for me to buy! New subscriber here from the Philippines!!
Not going to lie, I came for the giveaway but I’ll stay subbed for the content. It was great to see all these 2025 planners side by side, I can see why you picked the wonderland222. I look forward to seeing more of your content.
For "2025" I'm using a Stalogy A6 and a Kaweko Sport fountain pen. I'm new to BOTH. Thanks for the comparisons of all these sizes and brands. I'd love to be the winner of another Stalogy A6. Happy Holidays!
Such a great overview of all these different planners, thanks for giving us a closer look 💜 I don’t have a planner yet for ‘2025’ because I don’t really have a super busy day-to-day. But I do like the idea of getting into the habit of just recording a moment of joy or observation each day. I love the idea of looking back on the collective positive when I am not feeling the best 💕 Thanks for sharing.
The 2025 Wonderland222 is using the old TRP this year. I believe they are the only planner still using that paper that so many people fell in love with. I would like to try the Hibino but would be happy with anyone of the choices. Thank you for your generosity!
Hello! I love all of the 2025 planners you have shown in detail. I hope the Wonderland 222 A5 will be the perfect planner for you this year! Of all those planners, the Aura Estelle 2025 is the one I would pick. I like the horizontal week at a glance, then daily pages. I really enjoyed your review of these planners. Thank you
Great video and I enjoyed the background music too. I am such a stationery junkie I would love any of these for 2025. However the Aura Estelle really appealed to me, as well as the Stalogy. Thanks for the detailed review. (What is the community page-is it the comments)?
Hobonichi Techos use Sanzen Tomoe River Paper. I thought I heard you say MD Paper. 😅 One thing to note about the sizes is that W222 uses international sizing, while Japanese brands like Hobonichi and Stalogy uses Japanese sizing, so W222 B6 is slightly smaller than a Stalogy B6. So if you're looking for a leather cover for your B6 W222, it's best to contact a leather cover maker and give the specific size dimensions. The standard Japanese B6 sizes can fit leather cover makers like Moterm. Some makers also specify which brands their covers will fit as well.
This is great info! Thank you. Mind if I pin it? Of course you’re right about the Hobonichi Techo and Tomoe River. I’m still new at this and have a dozen things going through my head while I’m recording, sometimes the wrong thing comes out. I even fact check before posting, but this slipped through, so thanks for catching it!🙏 Those Moterms are a deal, eh?! I have an A5 and an A6. They are suspiciously close to the Hobonichi-branded black leather covers, and seem to be pretty good quality. Do you have a leather craftsperson? I saw a few on Etsy that would do custom sizes, but haven’t picked one yet.
@@AuthorsReserve Of course! No problem on pinning the post. As for leather cover makers, there's Eternal Leather Goods, Jenika's Journals, Chily Leather, Bujo Planner, Van Der Spek, Chic Sparrow. These brands are a bit out of my budget, so I've never tried them. But they do accept custom orders.
I have plans for 2025 to start journaling. I have recently starting collecting ink and fountain pens. Thank you for showing us some of the different planners that are available.
Just bought a 2025 Muji planner for my wife. They have nice planners, but don't know if they would work for fountain pen people like me. All that you showed look super high quality.
Happy 2025. (Yes, I know I’m too late for the giveaway!) Some useful information there, and some things I hadn’t really thought about. A point about the B sizes. If you get true International B sizes, rather than some of the modified B sizes, then they do have the same property as the A sizes, in that each size is exactly half the one before in area. The difference between the A sizes and the B sizes is where they start. A0 is exactly one square metre in area. B0 is exactly one metre along the short side.
My 2025 planner is from Punch Studio 8 inches by 10 inches. Not travel friendly but great size to track spending, orders, events, etc. I track the Moon but have stamps to capture the phase. Keeping a diary (the past) or planner (the future) is a habit. Try it. But if you skip a day or week it is between you and your planner tool. Will be looking for the wonderland brand. May even drive up and visit.
Stamps or stickers? Either way, I like the idea. It’s more intentional than having them already printed. Where do you get them? Driving up? I remember the traffic being kinda iffy through Tacoma. Good luck.
Hey Dave, i think you would get more subscribers if you also did currently inked videos! You have wonderful penmanship. Also, use hashtags in your video description. 😊
Omg, I just heard you mention you are adding 2 more 2025 agendas to your giveaway and one of them is the Wonderland 222 in A5! My agenda cover is a A5 and I love the format of the Wonderland. Crossing fingers, LOL. Merry Christmas.
I was looking at getting a Techo earlier this year but never pulled the trigger. In 2025 I will purchase some MD paper, good to hear that it has a nice feedback! Thank you!
It was interesting to take a little time with each of these planners. I am most curious about the Habino for 2025 I am looking to for some short form journaling. I have tried a 2month Traveler’s refill. And it seems smaller is better for me as this is a new project for me.
That’s a good approach. start small, and add more as you decide something is necessary. I think this one of the things about bullet journaling that causes people to quit soon after starting. they take on too much and it becomes a burden. your journal should work for you, you shouldn’t work for your journal. the Hibino is one of my top picks of that group.
if you happened to win a giveaway, shipping a notebook/journal (or pen) to Argentina would about $40 USD or which I would pay $15. I don’t know if that makes a difference to you, but I thought you should know.
I've already selected my planner for next year, so I won't mention the keyword to give others a better chance to win theirs. For several years, I've been very satisfied with Paperblanks Midi planners. While the paper quality isn't the absolute best, it performs well with extra fine nibs. The layout meets my needs perfectly, and the planners are visually appealing. I've tried Midori MD paper, but like you, I find it difficult to adjust to the yellow tint. It alters the appearance of inks, causing blue inks to appear green, for example. Not for me.
Hi there! If you are willing to send any of these to Hungary, count me in. I feel like I'll need the support of a good planner (or some empty notebooks) in 2025. 😊
We can try! I cover shipping for US, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean as stated in the contest rules on the Community page. Outside of these areas, I'd ask to share shipping. That still might be more than purchasing locally/regionally. We'll see.
All of them are fountain pen friendly with either Tomoe River or Midori paper or one sort or another. It’s definitely a requirement for me. Even my post-it notes are Fo-friendly now.😎
2025. Anything I could win would be great. I am partial to A5 size but would try other things to find “the one” for the new year. A terrific lot of planner books.
For 2025 I will be using a Hobonichi Weeks for the first time. I already started using it since the Weeks planner begins in December, but I feel especially committed to it now that 2025 has officially begun. If I may ask, is the giveaway still going? I see that there might be a traveler's notebook + cover still available and I'll admit that I'm very curious about it.
2025 How do you get to the "Community page"? This is a very well done & useful review that i will re-watch several times. My only criticism is that your voice often drops off. It would help me if you accentuated the start of each new section & the product names.

Yes, absolutely. For a while, I carried one in my back pocket. Men’s trousers have such large pockets compared to ladies.🤯
