I really didn’t know what the appeal factor to the coil but now I totally get it!!! I have been using happy planner for at least four years and the way you have explained some things - the layouts, particular use cases, etc. have made me notice elementary things I never really thought about before. That baby planner is so nice. I don't have kids, but I fell in love with it. It's so cute, and the layouts are awesome! I'm not a Christian, but I am considering buying the Faith planner. I'm agnostic. And if I don't use it, I can give it to my mom, who is Christian. I love the undated planners this year. Thanks for sharing!

Elizabeth!!!!!! What a great video. Gurl...you did not disappoint! I had you on while I was working and I loved every bit. As far as the faith planners go: I'm spiritual, but I don't like any of the faith planner layouts. I make my own pages that I put my thoughts and prayers in. While I was brought up a Christian, I don't identify with the church or so much. But I feel a connection to spirit and to love and I write about that. I write down affirmations from people I deem spiritual, some are Christian, but many are not. So this faith layout and the layout of many other faith planners, just doesn't work for me.

You're so welcome! Yeah I think folks would love to see different layouts, but they've stayed pretty static with the vertical/hourly...maybe they'll add Work+Life elements to the custom planner option so we can pick our own guts!

One thing I like about that first one is they didn't shade in the box at the top of the box on the page to the right. Mine are. Which means you can't see color pen writing or put a sticker over it because the gray box is behind it. I appreciate that. As well as the new removable twin loops. Now is super easy to add pages by simply cutting between the pages of twin loop pages to add them. I wish though they had undated dashboard layout pages so you could add them in to the planner. They have lots of refills. But I want some exactly like those for refill paper. As far as stickers I am very surprised they haven't came out with a inside out franchise Dsney line. That seems like such a good fit for planners, and things like their faith and other type of plnners. Thanks for another great reveal and review. You have a great day. God bless.
Yes! The Dashboard layout has had a blank (unshaded) header on that right page for a while! And I suspect they'll see how customizable spirals go, and if well, they'll come out with more accessories/filler!

I use my horizontal to journal only, so I don't need the checklists. Looks like one could just write over them, hmmmm. I did see that the customizable in horizontal stays the same as the old style.
I’ve just heard that the photos were incorrect for the custom- it WILL be the new horizontal with checklists. I think the boxes look pretty small and you could write across them!

I'm always a dashboard girl but the new horizontal looks kinda cool. I was hoping for a fitness planner but they didn't release that this time. So sad..... I've been waiting on a mini fitness for a couple of years now so I could take it with me but oh well....
Yeah it’s been a while since we’ve seen a mini fitness layout! Maybe we’ll see it in the undated release later this year. Have you tried the skinny mini before? Would it be enough space?

Awwww that’s such a great idea!!!! Especially if you got a puppy or kitten, that would be so cute!
I may have to combine a Work + Life and the horizontal to create a school/work professional planner for 2025... UNLESS they come out with the customizable twin loop in the horizontal. As for the faith planner, I redated six months of a current 2024 to work for my best friend, but changed out the dividers with one that had a more self care and wellness theme, and she is using it as her work planner and journal (she's a social worker and also is more traditionally faith based). I took the other six months and covered up the headers and decorated it to work as a general dashboard layout for me. So it is very versatile as long as you're open minded and look beyond the initial limitations of the original proposed purpose of the planner.
I am all about creative ways of using planners so you are speaking my language! I didn’t see a customizable spiral in the horizontal layout but I bet if they do well in this first launch, we’ll see more layouts for it in the future!
I am very sad they changed the horizontal. While it could be useful for some people, it offers zero flexibility now in how to use that layout. I also wish they made the recipe sheets double sided. Not sure we need a whole blank page on the back of each. But I do love the rest of the variety this launch has!
I think the new horizontal is going to please a ton of people, and sadden others! I’m so sorry you’re sad about it 😔 Hopefully there are some other options in this release that will work for you!
I saw your video about customizing the Happy planner. Loved it! But is it only possible to customize for the classic? Not the Big?
Hi! That is correct - think of this like a pilot program. I think if the Classic (their most popular size) does well, they'd likely come out with mini and big sizes in the future!

I really enjoy the feel of the twin loop in the hands, I was a bit disappointed there were so few with that hard cover this year.
I am of a different faith, I would love a more multifaith layout. Much of the actual layout except for the scripture part would work fine, but the dashboard pages are much too Christian and so are the dividers. Just a few little changes would make it applicable to nearly everyone.

The advantage of using the KJV in those faith stickers is the translation is out of copyright.

Hi! Do you mean the customizable twin loop or the customizable disc bound? They are all interchangeable within their own binding family. So you can change the covers on both styles, but I wouldn't cross over. Please let me know if you have any more questions!

I know the journaling folks will have a hard time with this change…how do you feel about writing through or decorating over the bullets?

Wow, epic video! As a religions student, I have seen the faith layouts and stickers work for the Abrahamic traditions very well. They do not work for the rest of the traditions. I personally use the weeks of the SOAP layout for my physical health tracking. I deco over the headers.
I agree that the faith layout planners work for the Abrahamic traditions (the stickers less so as I think they mention Jesus more frequently). That SOAP layout was very multi-functional! Basically just a lined vertical, and easy to change out the headers!

To answer your question, calling it a "faith" planner is still being tone deaf as it's super Christian. Just call it what it is and stop trying to fool people into thinking you're exclusive, HP! Sorry, just being honest.
