Hi Kaitlyn, good analysis of the problems in expressing the Trinity. In Jewish ministry, it's a little more nunaced. Jews traditionally recite "God is One" twice a day. Messianic Jews say "echad" is a compound unity; and many texts talk about the attributes of God. It's not that hard to show the Spirit as performing many of the equivalents functions as God the Father. But Jesus being equal to God is a huge thought provoker. I might mention pre-incarnate appearances of the "Son", such as Melchizedek, the third angel with Abraham, and the fourth man in the fire with Mishael, Chananiah and Azariah.
Before I hear what he says, #CoriouslyKaitlyn, let us look at living things in general. Watermelons have a layered Rhyne, it's meat and it's seeds that are all connected to a Vine by which it's growth is sustained. To the Watermellon the Vine is the same thing God is to all Created Things. However, "The All Indwelling God" isn't a visible thing although He dwells in even the things we don't consider to "Be Living" such as Sand, Rocks and Water.

sorry if but there is a difference between *what* God is and *how* God does things. To say it is okay to be confused about *what* God is, is equal to saying it is okay to be confused about whether God is truly All-knowing, All-powerful
How do you explain post-hoc rationalization to a child? You could just answer honestly that it's incoherent.

Infinite God not comprehensive to mankind, also English interpretations of scripture are problematic and cause many of our misconceptions of God and Christianity so why would we think trinity is fully understandable

Humans generally don't like contradictions. We define a contradiction as something that is impossible. Jesus is God and Not God at the same time. Jesus is Man and Not Man at the same time. God is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost at the same time but none are the other at the same time.
Some people believe that Holy Communion is literally Jesus' body and not Jesus' body at the same time.
If God is without self-induced limits, then He can also be a contradiction. Can God make a rock so heavy he can't lift it? Any rock God decrees will not be moved will not be moved.
Humans can't understand God. But we can understand the messages of his Son. And that's what we should focus on. If we could understand the nature of God that would make him a man and not God.
