I haven’t felt that way through this whole pandemic. I generally stick clear of most people so that made it easy. I take care of my husband mother and child and work in my gardens. I have about 8 pairs of clothes, I keep my little house in the woods minimal. It’s a very peaceful and content life. I don’t sweat all of this craziness or the people that seem all wound up. It’s silly, just live your life and enjoy whatever amount of time you are allowed on this earth. 🙂 take care of others, really take a look at nature and live your life ❤️ seriously! Everything else in this world will seem so strange and hectic and unimportant once you’ve found peace.

@@martinmorgansky2223 Reminds of what he says in that scene... "ignorance is bliss." Im constantly reminded of that whenever i watch the news the past few years. There are too many people pursuing pleasure instead of pursuing meaning in this world. And its no coincidence that in a society where we have more cheap (sometimes even free) and easy access to thrills and pleasures literally at the push of a button that you can carry around with you at all times no matter where you go we have an epidemic of depressed, drug-addicted, ignorant, and disconnected people.

I'm a bit of an introvert, so things haven't really upset my apple cart. I quit my job and I spend most of my time at home. I have 3 coops of chickens, my indoor cats, my books. Well, I guess the first comment I would make is that your husband as a person… So you’re not completely on your own. Imagine those who are. Also, I guess this experience has really separated the introverts from the extroverts. If there is such a clear distinction actually. We are mammals and we are monkeys and we are social beings and cutting us off from one another in the name of “health,“ Is a dubious pursuit… Or at least slightly suspicious in my opinion. Obviously, we are not all in this together, we weren’t all together prior to this. I am glad that there are people who have fared well through this but most people haven’t. Loneliness was a huge epidemic prior to this and only made 1 million times worse.

I've lived in Japan for many years, where people prioritize their needs over their wants. There is no "Keeping up with the Joneses" here, Japanese do not earn nearly as much as Americans for the same work, yet they do a much better job for what they earn. There is pleasure in labor, even when that labor is done for another's benefit (and all labor is performed for the benefit of others in exchange for some smaller self-benefit). An old priest in the Edo era of Japan said "In reality, Buddha's law is simple; wear your clothes, eat you rice, drink your tea." As for individualism, it is not an evil. The meaning of life is self improvement, to, through experience, break the bonds our physical bodies place on our spiritual mind. This comes through education, work, and experience, you can't find enlightenment sitting on your backside with a clear mind while breathing carefully. There can not be a strong collective unless there are strong individuals, and the collective mind is the greatest restraint to the growth of the individual mind. Beware of people who claim to be able to teach you self improvement; learning something is not the same as knowing it, and too much for what is passed on as "truth" is anything but true.

Hey Russell! I’ve been reading a wonderful book entitled “Restoration Agriculture” by Mark Shepard. In this book, Mark talks about our current agriculture system. Mark explains that currently the world uses annual crops to supply humanity with food. There are many problems associated with just farming annual crops, but one of them is having to continually increase the use of pesticides and herbicides. The farmers use their sprays, all of the insects and weeds die except for the ones that were resistant to the chemicals. These insects or weeds then repopulate the ENTIRE population and so new chemicals have to be developed all the time to keep up with this. Mark proposed a solution to this using a whole system approach to agriculture where it’s basically letting nature do all of the work. Because who is making sure all those plants in the forest are growing and staying alive??? NO ONE! Nature does it all alone, baby! Oh yeah! Let’s fucking go nature. Back to my point. Isn’t this exactly what’s happening to us with corona virus? If we think of ourselves as the annual plants, the virus as the population of weeds and insects, and the vaccines as the herbicides and pesticides then we get ourselves a good little picture. Because the EXACT same thing is happening right now to us. The virus is becoming more potent, the vaccines are becoming less effective and more need to be given at a more frequent rate, and we humans are becoming less human in the process.

And the "living" through it was a valuable experience in surrendering and the will to overcome. I am fortunate that I do believe my loved ones are in better places, this helped with the overwhelming feeling of wrongness. I actually had to stop my yoga practice for a while because my brain/body couldn't handle the feelings that released during yoga "practice", I let it go until I was ready to let my attachment to the grief go. Good luck, I hope you treat yourself with kindness.

Agree 100 %, people need to find the best path to become themselves, and I know some of you mighT be saying you are but who are you when you have stripped all the fear, heartache, betrayals and even the dreams you have that have manifested from these spaces for your future? My centre is stillness and peace and I also Have built up my relationship to GOD.. but through understanding my astrology, numerology, human design chart and taking on teachings of various ascended masters this is where I landed. I wish all beings the peace I have created for myself and truly agree that we need to take care of the soul we have left or learn how to regrow it and soul is your Source Of Unconditional Love. The best way to know if you aren't living through your SOUL is to ask " am I having a pure and positive experience? " if the answer is no then the soul needs tending to, and depending on what hurts and traumas and fears you holding on to, just be prepared that this is a transition into a new way of living and it will take time, so be patient with your self, be kind to yourself, and let those around you know youare wanting to make the change so you don't get locked up or called crazy for wanting to be a new version, or maybe find out the true version , of you 😁💛 great video Russell, seriously loved this you beautiful angelic being 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💛💚💙💜🧡🤍❤🤍🧡💜💙💚💛

The only issue I have with that is I miss my ex and don't want her to find anyone else because I'll be insanely jealous to be honest! I worked until December. Worked through the pandemic, taking extra hours to help out. Then I was put on unpaid-leave and it's left me angry. Also I'm really worried about my kids. Worried about their future. Their lives have been put on hold, they've lost a lot of opportunities. I've found myself stuck watching UA-cam way too much. And it's depressing. But it's January 1st, 2022, and I went outside in the minus 28 degrees Celsius today until my face hurt and it felt invigorating. Tomorrow back to Wim Hoff breathing and I will start my fasting again (haven't done it for a month). I wish you and yours a wonderful 2022, take care.

When I listen to Eddie, his yoga is more about self-care, which can be another form of guilt and fear about never doing enough, if your life isn't working out, it's your own fault. For me, I'm trying to understand what the ultimate reality is so that I can put the political realities in context. But I don't know if that makes sense?

Reminds of that scene in the matrix where that guy is eating steak with agent smith and he is about to betray his friends. "Ignorance is bliss." I am constantly reminded of that whenever I watch the news the past few years.

Must admit, while I still hate what's happening, but this whole thing has unplugged me from the matrix. I was a gleeful consumer, spent 25 years working to end up being sacked for not taking the jab. I've virtually given up spending, alcohol, drugs, junk food and started growing my own food and running my own business. I've realised my whole existence was a slave to money and I wasnt happy no matter how much I had because I hated my job but felt compelled to continue. So in a weird way, waking up has been due to this whole covid thing. Being awake is tough but its better than being a mindless slave to the system.

After many years of attempted meditation, I can now hear the Om sound. I think I know what the yogis are alluding to when they suggest we ask ourselves "Who am I?" We know God is everything. We know we are God. But do we know who God is? When we ask "Who am I?", what we are really asking is "Who or What are you God?" Take as fact that you are God. Take as fact that God is everything and all actions. Live God. Be God.
