Great video! Lee has a TON of knowledge. I finally ran in to a issue I could not solved an Lee and his Bro fixed it easy. Since then I drive from apple valley CA (hour away) anytime I need service! Keep the videos coming bud! 🤘👍
Cheers Steve! Don't forget to email me the sweet inside spots in Apple Valley; it's a hawt spawt but I want the inside scoop, or at least the dirt on who NOT to support and why, I need to know the biz that makes the *best* apple cin donuts, out there for sure.
NIce video. I've ordered the upgrade kit. I have a feeling that fitting it when the extruder and fans are already wired to the controller will make the job harder though I guess they could be completely disconnected and removed before starting the upgrade.
Your feedback is appreciated! I'm working on the camera angles and videography...I'm no AvE or bigclivedotcom but as long as it gets the point across I'm happy!
You don’t: loosen the idler, remove the two “front” 14mm/20mm screws on the extruder fan, the two 45mm under the fan holding the extruder “cover”, and the two 45mm at the top rear holding the motor and idler “door” pivot; boom: hotend access.
Great video!

Awesome extruder assembly video. Great and thanks for sharing,. Also thanks for fastforwarding when needed. Thumbs up.
Great video. Only one who has done this so people can follow it. Thanks
Richard Brown my newer video on extruder assembly is better, but this video shows the “Prusa” way.
Oh man, this video was so helpful. Thanks!

Been looking for a MK3S upgrade video. Thanks
That fan bracket is a serious pain in the ass
the fact that you have to remove the extruder in the MK3S to get access to the hotend is really stupid. the MK3 is way more accessible for debugging

Never like to see metal screws going into plastic threads, should always have a metal nut or retainer, considered to be cost cutting & poor design!
Why do you sing everything
