- Tiny little serrated leaves are not impossible to sew! All it takes is knowing how and I'm happy to share that with you.

This video was sooo helpful !
so happy to find this video, so helpful! thank you!
I like these up close tutorials on applique.
Great tutorial. Thank you. Hope everyone is okay over there. Seeing dreadful fires and weather events on the tv. Take care. Love from Australia
Where I live it’s just hot which, in comparison to fires and flooding, seems very manageable. Thank you for your concern :-).
Wow. Fantastic. Thank you so much. From Victoria Australia
You are so welcome!
Love your video. It really helps. Just takes time and don’t stress.
Another fun and Interesting quilting chat! Thank you for posting this video!
This is a great video for techniques!! Thank you! I appreciate the details! I'm sure I'll watch this again as I'm practicing.
So much good information in this lesson. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
It´s a real pleasure to watch you sewing. If i only could do so tiny tiny ...
I didn’t say it in this video, but I often do point out that where you place the thumb in front of the needle does a lot to control the length of your stitch.
@@BeckyGoldsmith Thanks.
Your classes are awesome!
I love the Quilt behind you
Thank you very miuch I love your work claudia from México
Thanks a lot for this instruction. I am too impatient to sew manually but love the effects of your work. It seems not so complicated but deffinitely requires a lot of patience
I'm not really a patient person so I don't see it that way. I like to be busy, all the time and hand work is 'busy' work. Some shapes are fast, others slower, but they come together eventually to make something lovely :-).
Thanks for the tutorial! I’m working on an appliqué block from Baltimore Oriental Garden. Inner and outer points and curves. This tutorial is helpful and I hope I can get the technique down! 😯🤗🌸👍
Wonderful!
I just happen to be working on a needle-turned applique project when I watched this video. I tried using the the wooden toothpick method of turning, and it wottked so much better than the needle. Thanks, Becky.
You are very welcome!
Yes, i learned it here, too. It workes well.
Yes! Not “needle”turn, … but “toothpick” turn!
I love to appliqué will you be doing more tutorials on bigger appliqué?
I've actually got lots of videos online showing all sorts of hand applique techniques on bigger shapes. Click through my videos and let me know what you think :-).
🥰
39:06 I would like to see a work from you 1980 and today. I think, it´s a big difference, isn´t it?
Honestly, my early applique looks a lot like it does now. I had a very good teacher at the local quilt shop :-).
