I enjoyed your tour of Kandy--looks like a beautiful city. I appreciate accompanying you on your journey. Also, I think you look more attractive without the long hair. I started a journey toward simplicity in my life over a decade ago, and the first thing I did was to have my hair shaved. I love the look, the feel, and the freedom a shaved head affords. And for me, shedding the hair symbolized my personal freedom from the trappings of the fashion/style world. Congratulations on making the change. Perhaps, like me, you'll enjoy it and keep it.

7:19 Actually as far as "i have read i don't think" the Gautama Buddha specifically assigned, wanted nor denied the former kandyan palace/ The Temple of Tooth Relic by name or as an exact place to enshrine yk.
Lord Buddha determined his bones and relics (Buddha Relics) be remained upon his cremation after passing away for us as beings across all worlds to worship and cultivate merit for the path towards Nirvana..The Buddha himself preached that any respect or offerings done towards Buddha's relics is considered to be as if they were done to the Living Buddha himself..In the thripitaka it states the way and how ceremonial was the gratitude done to Buddha's corpse(śrī dēhaya) which concide the exact same ceramonial gratitude followed when a King Sakvithi die.. Also it's mentioned in thripitaka that a stupa is/shall be constructed to enshrine the relics of only 4 types of beings; (Relics of a Lord Buddha ( the supreme Buddha) , Relics af a Pacceka Buddha/Pase-buddha(an individual Buddha), the Relics of an Arahath monk and the remains of a sakvithi king)..therefore in this instance i suppose the kandyan palace was selected by kings to enshrine and protect the Lord Buddha's left Canine tooth to make it easy and safe for people to actually see with their own eyes and pay their respect by looking at the only relic of Lord Buddha enshrined outside a stupa or an enclosed building.. So Summarizing this i would say that 1.the lord buddha intentionally left his omniscient relics for the beings of all worlds to pay respect, homage and offerings to help us in the samsara journey. 2. The Buddha has taught what shall/can be enshrined in a stupa to pay homages and respect and hence i suppose Kandyan kings specifically selected this exact building to enshrine The Lord Buddha's Tooth since it was a palace

Other tooth ralic is in Somawathiya Temple (Somawathie santuary, Polonnaruwa. ). It is very famous among buddhists. But not among Tourists. There are 16 main Buddhist temples that lord buddha has visited. If you have time try to visit those places

This is a totally different hair cut video when compared to other vloggers and than I expected. I think the way you feel when cuts off all hair, can feel everyone who watched it as well. Nothing to worry. Hair grows and lose one day as per the theory of nature. Cheers 👍🏻 (Unfortunately Eng subtitles are inactive.)

You had such beautiful hair. I'm looking for a barber who could give me a haircut like that, but shave the back and sides down close to the skin on the back and sides. If you were ever in Memphis Tennessee area I would like to know if you could come over to my place and give me the kind of haircut I am looking to get. Maybe you could give me the haircut I would really like to have.

Tooth Temple was the former ROYAL PALACE OF KINDOM OF KANDY.
IN ANCIENT TIMES TRADITION WAS CUSTODIAN OF THE TOOTH RELIC AUTOMATICALLY BECOMES THE RULER OF THE KINDOM. THEREFORE EVERY KING GAVE A PROMINENT PLACE TO LORD BUDDHAS TOOTH RELIC WITH A DUE RESPECT
AS FOR A LIVING BUDDHA .
IF YOU VISIT ALL THE OLD KINDOM S , ANURADHAPURA, POLONNARUWA, YAPAUWA,
DAMBADENIYA, YOU WILL FIND THE RUINS OF THE FORMER TOORH TEMPLE S , ITS THE SYMBOL OF THE RULER. ALL THE KINGS GURDED THE RELIC WITH MAXCIMUM SECURITY. WITH ALL TRADITIONS AND RETHUALS AS SPECIFIED BY EACH AND EVERY KING.
BY THE WAY YOUR HAIR CUT WAS BEAUTIFUL, SUITES YOU BETTER.
MUCH LOVE ❤ FROM SRI LANKA 🇱🇰

Interesting video . Its good you do research on places before going there . 👍👍
Maybe you will find answers when you visit the simple Nepalese/Indian Himalayan Buddhist temples and serenity of the mountains.
I believe dosa is a Tamil dish in origin but i could be wrong.
One request.. please eye an eye on your video volume .sometimes it is hard to hear what you are saying .

Thank you very much for watching and your comment. Yes, many aspects of Tibetan Buddhism are very interesting to me.
And you’re absolutely right about the dosa, it’s a popular South Indian dish!
Regarding the volume, thanks for that, yes I’ve been learning how to best use this camera and noticed some issues with that too. Working to improve that for upcoming videos!
