I love putting my oils to work at my house! I’ve even used vodka as my room freshener base... I prefer witch hazel though!
Does the stench of witch hazel leave? Uck i hate that smell!
This is fantastic for homes that don’t have dogs. Unfortunately essential oils are very toxic for them and can be an irritant.
Some essential oils are toxic for pets, but many are not. Everyone should always do their homework.
Yes. You HAVE to be careful w ssential oils n dogs. Their noses have SOOO many scent receptors that we cant begin to imagine how strong scents are to them.
Case in point, my 5 rascals are asleep now that ive opened lavendar to make this. They were rough housing 15 min ago!
How about how to REMOVE the odor of an essential oil that you do not like from a fabric chair. We had a guest and they wore SO MUCH of an essential oil that I find very adversive, that everywhere they sat or their belongings touched, the odor was left behind. I used an ozone machine on the room and that helped the room. But my boyfriends clothes kept smelling like it and discovered its the office chair. Thus he is just spreading it all around the house. I NEED to get this odor out of my house!
Oh dear! Oil can hold fragrance for years. I have an oil-based perfume that rubbed off onto a scarf I have. I didn't wear that scarf for 2 years. When I pulled it out, I could still smell the perfume. I'm afraid it sounds like the furniture needs to be shampooed.
I wonder if I could order a perfume oil and use it with this spray and make my house smell even better!!??
