Thanks for this great recipe! I wanted to note that hydrogen peroxide degrades in light (which is why it comes in dark bottles) so be sure to store the mixture in a dark area between uses.

You can also cover it with a black sock from Dollar Tree, or an old sock. That's what I do when sprouting my beans.
This works. I forgot and left a small bottle of milk in my car which had rolled and spilled under my passenger seat, and I didn’t know it until I started to smell it two days later ( in hot South Florida). I tore my car apart and found the clabbered milk bottle and the stench was that of a skunk. After trying a few failed products from the store, I came across this video and gave it a try. It took a couple of days to completely disappear but the smell got more faint until it was gone. Thank you sir.

good video, this recipe works! one draw back is while he is correct about a good mix with the baking soda, the zep sprayer stem needs to be trimmed at least 1.5 in. otherwise the sediment will clog. thanks

I have read in other posts that THIS mixture SHOULD NOT be kept in a container if you dont use all within one usage as it COULD EXPLODE. I Was originally looking for a mixture to get rid of SKUNK smell it is the same concoction, IF something can remove Skunk smell it must be good! Course IF Getting off your body MORE Precautions and definitely make sure to rinse of your body & hair within 5 mins unless you want your hair lighter 👍

I'm hoping this will work where a raccoon has been marking his spot on my white pea gravel statue shrine! I removed much of the gravel and have it soaking in bleach and dawn first. I can never understand why mix in a too-small bowel. Again why use a plastic sprayer? You can easily find glass sprayer bottles. So much better for the environment

sealed hard wood floors yes ... but do not scrub because the baking soda can scratch it . If its Lego type flooring then the urine is underneath and so will the DIY odor stopper .. 😇

Does that keep him from going back to the same place to pee. I have a male bulldog who pees and refuses to quit. We even have a doggy door. It is infuriating. We have true hard wood floors so I can’t mop/clean with just anything because some things will strip the floors. He also marks all the furniture. I’m at my wits end with him. Please help. (instructions) Make mix ... apply (saturate) .. let sit for 30 -40 minutes ... remove excess with towel, ,rag, 👉best SHOP VAC, ... air dry .. if still smells... one more time (rarely needed except for cat pee. Never spray in air or vents.
i tried it. but this mixture produces gas. i made a 1 litter mixture, put some in my sprayer and put the rest in a plastic bottle. 3 days later, i saw the bottle has balloned up. i think it would have explode because of the gas if i didnt see it on time.
yes I mentioned that in the video and also in the video description.... when storing leave cap loose enough to let gas pressure out so as to not over flow do to pressure ... and never shake up bottle ... poor out in to big glass stir and then put back in spray bottle after being stored for a while 😇

Try loosening the cap when you store it to let it breathe a little.. just a suggestion

Make the mix ... saturate the area ... let sit 30 minutes ... use a wet dry vac or bissel to extract it or a lot of blotting with paper towel ... air dry ... if still a smell repeat (should not have to if you saturated the area) works for me God bless 😇

Yes it can .. it is a choice you must make... light spray one shot on plant wait 12 to 24 hours and see how much damage happens to see if you want to go any further with the DIY odor stopper spray... Works for me God bless😇

It depends on the content of your carpet. If it is a natural fiber like cotton, it may bleach and discolor, but if it is nylon, rayon, polyester it should be fine.
