I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert here in upstate NY. He is phenomenal and so very down to earth. The meet and greet after his concert was absolutely wonderful. Everybody danced and sang, and we all had such a great experience. He never rushed through a conversation with every fan, and stayed for hours after the concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I first heard this song as a small child and it was on a old 45 RPM record and she is almost 7 years older than me ! I think she was about 14 or 15 when this song first came out but I might be mistaken ! What year did it first come out 65 or 66 or 64 or 63 ? I know it was the mid 60s ! I am 65 years old ! I love 60s music even though that were not my teen years except for 1969 age 13 !
Well theres obvioualy fans for everything !!! One of the worst and embarrassing performances ever !!! He never had a voice to begin with Nice dude , but ........ Bring back the Archies and the Hullabaloos !!!+
@@jorgeestomba9888 At that time-frame, there were a few- The Archies, Monkees.. Even our beloved "Beach Boys" utilized "The Wrecking Crew" and Ron Hicklin with his singers ( Glen Campbell helped out in the beginning ).. My stupid delusional memories from my youth were fake..
Gary has one of the most healthy personalities of all-time. I'm really impressed with this guy, and how he handled his Dad (Jerry Lewis) giving his career the cold shoulder (and possible sabotage). Gary had a bad famous Dad, and dealt with that in a manner that is all class.
AWESOME live version! 👏 They "Still got it!"
Gary's first hit record. What a great song!
Met him today. He posed for pictures and signed some of his record albums for me. Best part... he's a really nice guy!
I know it. Thank you Anthony

We are the same vintage, and I hadn't heard this song in over 40 yrs Talk about a trip down memory lane.
I love this group, Gary Lewis and the Playboys!!! They got it going on!!
He still has a great singing voice and he looks good too. 😍
Good memories!
I love Gary Lewis (& The Playboys)....how awesome seeing him in this day and age....thanks for posting this!!! : )
Gary is a bad ass.
Still has the magic
Super cool group !!! Went to Vietnam an back. Picked up where he left off. Great group.
Danny Stephenson ok
Gary Lewis was deployed to a safe, non combat situation in Korea… Not a Vietnam Veteran !!!
The art of the Lews family great contribution to America & the world. Thks
He did a great cover of this!
He is very down to Earth.
Leon Russell was a session musician that played keys on this song and co-wrote with Gary - truth !!
Loved Leon Russell
Leon Russel was a member of "The Wrecking Crew" at that time… They provided the instrumentals and Ron Hicklin overdubbed the voice of Gary Lewis...
Later in life, he still has it.
I hear he's a nice guy, I credit his mama for that. Love his music.
going to see him this evening!
i was in the 2nd grade when this came out, and have this on a 45rpm....
His former wife was a filipina...good to see him still playing and singing his songs...he's 60's guy...
Me encanta esa melodia y aun la cantan excelente
Thank you God 🙏
Great!
Very nice!

i love..symphony for susan..i will love to hear that Song!!is he still in the music industry until now?
"A Symphony For Susan" was recorded by The Arbors; Gary Lewis & The Playboys recorded "My Heart's A Symphony". Both songs are on UA-cam.
The real.."Jerry's Kid"
In the Philippines, they were the rival of the Beatles during 60s..
Love his glasses.....
True song nothings new
Gary Lewis looks like a combination of Buddy Holly and Harold Ramis...😊
And maybe a little Jerry Lewis. Coincidence? :-)

Sounds good, but a bit 'boppy'. Much prefer the Sammy Amrose (and I guess session muso's backing him) which had SOUL!
Met
Boooo when you have to sing along with 10 other voices you know you can't sing and only going on your Dad's name who was not a singer either

Hard to believe that being Jerry Lewis' son didn't open up hundreds of doors for Gary.
