    Great video and work!
I changed the throttle body on my Corsa D 1,4 petrol, btw change that rubber seal thats underneath the wiper blades because they leak! :D

Big job but good on you for giving it a go. put an old bit of carpet under the car, save your nice clean block paving 🙂

I actually have one of the those spill mats but left it in the Abarth boot and that's currently away having all 4 wheels refurbished 😆

Worth covering the head when handling nuts and bolts in case you accidentally drop one which falls down into the sump. Before getting the head off invest in a borescope and take the sump off since chances are you have a bent conrod?

Yeah the video end worked out well thanks to pesky studs!

You're making your life difficult, the Corsa front end is designed to be removed with all the crash structure and rad pack in one piece.
Then you just wheel the entire engine out the front of the car.
It is able to be done in about 60 minutes.
Then you have an engine free to work on out the car.

Hi Richard, Thanks for the view and for taking time to post a comment. Completely agree with you on this however, we just put our house up for sale and if I had a half dismantled car on the drive my worry is it wouldn't be good for house viewings. Also I have limited space to work on the engine outside the car. Keeping it in the engine bay while working on, is a slower process but it means I can leave the car presentable on the drive :)
      Many Thanks! Chris
