The mirror's actually vital for the small rooms, they work extremely well at increasing size in a small room, and as an added component increasing brightness. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess it's probably helped tremendously for you. For the desk, I'd recommend going back to the drawing board and getting everything nailed down under the desk as flat as possible, and with the mouse and keyboard installing a cable management box on the back of the desk so that while you can move your keyboard and mouse they won't jangle loosely under the desk. Overall though that is a MASSIVE improvement over the awful status of the beginning. Also one last thing, I gotta say that I actually like how the bed is positioned way above the windowsill lol, that is reminiscent af for me since I had a setup like that years and years ago.
