In terms of revealing the map, I think a good way to do it is display a map that is only green or blue, for land and water respectively. Don't reveal if the water has fish, don't show where the resources are. Knowing where relics are benefits some civs far more than others, knowing where the neutral trade is removes a french bonus, and also benefits some civs more than others. Best to give everyone an idea of where the water is, but not much more than that IMO. If you are using a custom map, you could screenshot it and in paint just color over the land/water
Hi @Aussie! - Do you have the BIOME and SEED for this map? and May I suggest to record the Seed of the maps that you cast for the future. Because this is one hell of a map ^.^
Drongo, please have a co-host for the entirety of OO 3 if it happens. Aside from spotting kings, it was way more fun when you engaged in commentary with another host. (I especially liked the guy in OO 1 on the islands map, forgot his name because its 1am)
I'm drinking a homemade electrolyte drink, make a pitcher of water with squeezed lemons, sliced cucumbers (potassium), salt, sugar. Women love it for sleepovers, great for gamers in the morning.

I have never played AoE games online nor played AoE4(only played old titles in 2010s) but why are people not migrating from bad places? Atleast that way you can prolong your survival and not die cuz you are swarmed in the middle?
Tempo. If you are migrating, you set yourself massively behind the rest of the players who didn't have to waste time doing that and develop their economy, military and tech instead. That being said, sometimes not doing that is a suicide. For example, you have an opponent's TC next to yours, which means you both will waste time on pointless fighting until a third player comes and kill you both.

If they lost all landmarks, they lose the game

Great to see the FFA. It's funnier tho when Aussie plays. He gets heated.
