Collyridianism were an early heretical movement group who worshiped the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus as a goddess in pre-Islamic Arabia in about the year 375 A.D. This heretical group were condemned by Epiphanius of Salamis. Interestingly the Roman Catholic church has revived this ancient heresy, and continues to worship Mary, by praying to her, saying she is co-redemtrix, queen of heaven and many more. The Lord God is a jealous God (Exodus 20:5) to worship or give devotion to anyone but Him is wrong and Idolatry. The definition of Idolatry is when you love anyone or anything in the place of Almighty God Himself, who truly deserves all the worship and not to give it to any mere creature.
I am called a catholic (christian) and Do NOT "worship" Mary, but I do have a deep respect and love for her as Jesus taught us to do at the foot of The Cross during his Passion. I know that I have been , by The grace of God, adopted into sonship, through Faith in His Beloved only begotten Son - Who is our Lord and Saviour- JESUS The CHRIST(Anointed One). I pray in tongues, believe The HOLY Bible and rely on His Holy Spirit to teach me and lead me all the way home to Heaven! I have close friends in other christian churches/ groups who do not identify as catholic and have no reason to not call them my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We have but One Advocate before The Father, Jesus The Risen One and I am convinced(confident) that we shall all be together in eternity , truly through the wonderful unmerited favour of our Father in Heaven and this through The LORD Jesus (Yeshua)Who suffered for us all to reconcile us to our heavenly Father, Almighty, Living HOLY GOD.

Common logic distastes that God (Christ) created Mary and therefore God is Mary's father.How could then Mary be God's mother?, since God is eternal God does not have a mother (that includes the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit).The Son created Mary (Christ created all things!).
Mary is the Mother of God, as the Eternal God, stepped into time, and then came forth from Mary's womb, hence, "Mother of the Lord ", ( Luke 1:43), she the virgin who conceived Emmanuelle, God with us. Plus, the Mother of the King in the Davidic line of royalty is the queen Mother, and Mary was saluted by Heaven as being full of grace, even prior to the annunciation, prepared so by God to be His worthy dwelling place, and all generations shall cal herl blessed, she the foretold woman in Genesis at emnity with satan. as a former catholic, I can understand how blind they are in that system, but I used my common sense and researched the history and saw the truth.

Why not send her to her own children? Maybe because she didn't have any?
I respect this guy, but he is directly contradicting the Chalcedonian Creed.
