Yeah , I'm a big Kate Bush fan, and Danni Green's voice does it justice. The backing music is a bit of a problem, may be better just with piano, or something more subtle.
A tough song to achieve (given that the incomparable Ms Bush wrote and performed the original) but Danni does a splendid job. Splendid. IMHO...I like the backing music. Modern. One other item. This tune and 'Back In The USSR' sport the two very best song TITLES since World War II. I tend to speak in broad strokes but I hope you get the idea. Great song. Unforgettable version. Kudos to Ms Green.
I admit I feared the worst as this is a favourite song of mine, but this is actually pretty good. The drum part to the choruses is too obtrusive, which ruins the atmosphere, but Danni's voice has just the right qualities of strength and vulnerability to do it justice. Nice job.

The great KB is tough to cover. Some big names have brutally butchered this song because they just don't get it and/or don't have the pipes. This one, however, is very good. IMO, Tina Arena's interpretation may be the gold standard.
great voice, great dance version but the video is self-obsessed and narcissistic - less posing and more of a story-line would have made it a good video but danni has an impressive voice - check out Kingfisher Sky version

I like it, even though I too could do without the croaking...they're all doing it now; I guess it means you have soul or something, but I prefer a cleaner sound. She films well, too! jp
i liked it until the main refrain, then it needed to be softer, it comes in too strong an loses its sensitivity and turns into an ordinary song. The pace changes a lot in the original, which is part of it's charm.
The sentiment is unconvincing, but she is an excellent vocalist. This version blows away Charlotte Church. I wish American "pop sensations" would show this kind of restraint.
Good version, however would benefit from less "ohhhs...." et cetera, and better musical backing.... as someone else stated, should be sung more from heart.. BUT VERY GOOD CLEAR VOICE, good luck for what could be a great future, hope some one who can promote you well, finds you soon.

This video is over 6 years old. There hasn't been much activity about Danni Green. Not much newer stuff either on myspace. I wonder how she's doing?

The producer has to quit listening to the Edge's guitar. The delay detracts from what is trying to be done...What Vulchid said....
quantize-o-rama, yeah. but of course the original doesn't really have any kind of "beat" outside of the chorus and flows more like a classical piece.
