  • I have had my Starboard Wingboard oit enough times to get a good feel for how it behaves and I feel good to put a review out on it. This is my first dedicated Wing Board I have owned and there are many well rated designs that I have not tryed. Keep in mind this review only shows what I think about this board and not how it compairs to others. Still I am a fan of this board and for the price of a new last years modle board ... WOW, i am very happy. 🙂
If you have any questions let me know. I may have left out some details of this board.

Had mine unboxed for over a month now and have just been waiting for the water to warm up a bit before giving it a go. This will be my 2nd hard board (the other being the same Fanatic Sky Wing shown in the distance in your video) and am anxious to see what this thing can do!

Ben ... you can do it! 🙂
Assuming I have at least 4 or 5 mph of wind this board is very comfortable and stable to slog. It feels plenty maneuverable in flight too.
I am planning to try Wingfoiling in City League and up wind / downwind in very light wind "we should have plenty of that this year" this board just does not have enough float for that. So I may be getting a 105L plus board and keep this one or get about a 95L and sell this one.
Cool thing about Wingfoiling is the gear is small and once the right gear is found out a lot of gear is not needed. It just takes a bit of time to find the right match. 😕 😅
Let me know what you think of your board when you get it on the water.

@@jonathanreinke9392 Haha thanks for the pep talk. After having some success on the Fanatic Sky Wing (classic board btw!), I'm super stoked to try this one. Just need the right day. Yesterday was too much wind and the rest of the week looks like too little :/ I'm slightly under 70 kg and wish this had more literage but, oh well, I've heard or seen another review on here that said for its size and literage on paper, it is as stable as boards much larger and having more volume. Hope that's the case. If not, it'll force me to progress quicker than I'd planned haha

      Hi Diego,
I am a fan of my 88L Wingboard, it is still the only board I use for Wingfoiling. It works well for me with my Axis ART 1099 and my PNG 1310. With the current increase in popularity of longer and skinnier downwind boards being great for wingfoiling this Starboard longer and skinnerer board is closer in design compaired to some shorter and wider designs.
Shorter fuselages and smaller rear wings make a bigger difference in manuvarability vs a lighter board with less swing weight. If you are getting into jumps with tricks a smaller, shorter, lighter board would be better. If you are into fun cruising with casual up and down jumps this board is still great and from what I have found, it is very durable.
I will be on the lookout this next season for a used downwind SUP foil board for Wing Foiling. About a 105L board should be great for my size on light wind or steady medium wind days.
My Starboard 88L board is a lot of fun and the concave deck is stable and easy to fly with. So I do not know how long I will keep it, probably depends on what type of wingfoiling I will do in the future. As of now I do not have plans to sell it and predict it will be in great shape for many additional seasons.
Happy Flying & Happy New Year!
