Well I generally feel that if someone takes the time to comment it would be sort of a dick move not to reply. With work and life and all it is sometimes difficult to stay on top of comments and respond, but I try to check comments once or twice a week and respond to everyone that deserves a response. Some comments are just people being assholes so I tend to not respond to those.

I'm painfully realising that as well :(
I tried removing the whale oil tank rushing up and unhingeing the lever on the door and than reinserting the whale oil tank before the clockwork sentinel discovers that the electric security system is inactive, but I did not get the achievement. Other than that I didn't tamper with anything. It seems the achievement simply cant be done with newgame + unless you know some glitches
