Hi Chenda, many thanks for this free pattern, it is very beautiful. but I think there is a problem with the two front pieces because if you make the second piece exactly as the first one then you end up with one WRONG side and one RIGHT side piece. So the increases and decreases for the second piece should be made on the opposite side. I think a few other people also struggled with this and left some comments.

What kind of soap/detergent do you use? I would definitely hand wash it, but how do you dry it afterwards? Maybe you can help me?
im not sure about the soap/detergent but i think anything mild would work as long as u dont use too much? just make sure to wash it in cold water and lay it out to dry on a flat surface, as if u would when u block clothes, so it doesnt stretch! also try to not wring the water out but rather roll the cardigan into a towel and squeeze the water out gently.

After the end of the row which is near the underarm part then continue from where you have made slip stitch and start new row by chain 2, turn, double crochet around the arm hole until you reach the end of the row then slip stitch with chain 2 and starting new row again by repeat like the previous row. You can alternate the stitches between double crochet row and the mesh row.

If she says until u reach row 6, does that mean until you finish the last stitch of row 5 or the last stitch of row 6? If someone could reply this it would be very nice

I am really confused in the sleeves part I followed the steps you did, 7 dc to make a shell, 2nd row was to make inc in every stitch I did have 13 stitches there and on the 3rd row I made inc on the first and last stitch as you told I had 16 stitches there on row 4 I did the same as yours, but when I came to row 5 it only makes 19 stitches so when it comes to row 6 It misses one stitch because my row 5 isn't even. Please reply I really need your help❤
Hi 👋 you're correct, my row 5 which is the row with all dc I also have 19 stitches and for row 6 after you have made sl st, turn, ch 1, dc into the big space between the first dc of the row below (row 5) and the chain st that near the first dc. You don't make dc into the first dc loop of the row below, you have to make dc into the space that behind the first dc and it's counted as the first st and then ch 1 skip the first dc of the row below it's counted as the second st then make dc into the third st then keep repeating by Ch1, skip 1 st and make dc into the next st, repeat until you reach the end, you also must make dc into the space at the end of the row which is the space between the last dc and the chain st and then end with Ch1 and Sl St to connect the row. I hope you get it or you can DM me on IG ( chenda_diy ) I can show you the picture of the 6th row of my sleeve.
Darn it, Chenda! I Just ordered yarn for the bralette as I'm finishing my second one (it went much better than my first and has same-sized cups this time, haha). Now I may have to switch that yarn to this instead! Wish I had known how to do this in the 80s. I had a sundress that came with a cardigan which ended up with a stain. This would have paired wonderfully with that dress.

I meann once you attach the body pieces you could just crochet in the round around the armhole to your desired length, but it won't fit as nicely as the short sleeves in this video
I used size 3 aunt lydia thread to make mine, everything went perfectly up until the sleeve part. It’s quite confusing knowing how many stitches are needed and which rows are actually increasing and decreasing? My sleeve holes ended up too small so now I have to rework them, I followed the instructions exactly but again, not having stitch count for those rows/not knowing how many increases left me super confused.

She used Cotton VietNam yarn. It is so cheap, only 0,5$ for 100gram yarn
