Medina Base - Site King

Medina Base (Site King), also known as the Medina Annex, was initially a National Stockpile Site (NSS) constructed between 1953 and 1955. Site King was operated by the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). The AEC (using AEC and Sandia personnel), jointly operated the site with the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project and the United States Air Force for five years.
