@willm8182 I loved my 2020 Z900... it was not bonkers, but so solid... on the track on street tires it gave me (an intermediate rider) the most confidence I have had of any bike. I sold it and got a 2022 S1000R, and in a lot of ways, I still miss the Z900.
People see the 400cc and think this is a beginner bike which it's not. This a bike for those who like to have a 4 cylinder screamer but want to do it at speed limits. Basically this is an enthusiasts bike
I got mine last year. I was a total beginner at the time. Have had no issues, knock on wood. I did use the low power mode for a while in the beginning and that really helped build confidence.

Frankly, considering how low the power is at low rpms, it might actually be okay. Who are we kidding, none of us can resist using the whole tachometer.
How old are you? I only ask as if I was riding 20 years ago, I would have already considered myself too old for this displacement. I'm 46 and riding a Kawasaki Ninja ZX9r, and will continue to ride sport bikes for the foreseeable future. Maybe stop crashing! 😂😎👍

Chris Moore tuned one of these with an exhaust and it was mid 70’s to the tire. I dunno why some people make fun of this bike. This bike exceeds the capabilities of 95% of the people buying the 600 RR. Maybe it would save some lives if people bought was actually practical and not what they think they need.
As a new rider that always enjoyed the sound and look of 4cyl Sportbikes, this is the perfect bike. 600cc bikes are non existent in the EU anymore. This makes the cool noises, looks cool, and has all the tech and safety features that a noob like me needs. Also I wont go to jail by red-lighting 1st gear. A Yamaha R6 does over 115km/h in 1st. I was considering the Ninja 400 as a first bike last year, until I heard the rumors that a ZX4R was in the works and "could" come to EU. We didn't get the ZX25R but Im glad we got the 400cc version
As the happy owner of one of these, and have put on 2500km so far along with two track days, you've pretty well nailed EVERYTHING about this bike. It is special, it's different, it's usable, and the bottom line which more motorcyclists should focus on - it's FUN! The smiles/mile on this bike are pretty unmatched. It's a happy little thing that is well built, well engineered, and a bold "fuck you" to the world of parallel twins and practicality. I can't ever see myself selling it. Not a good single bike garage bike, but as a second or third bike it's fantastic.
Sounds like fun to me. I’m thinking about downsizing from my Ninja 1000sx to an electric 125 or 300 equivalent plus this 4RR as a second bike. Could you see yourself touring on yours ?
@@TeslasSecretI also just got one, and to answer your question, you could but compared to your 1000 it is a lot less capable. I find the riding position on it slightly more aggressive than a ninja 400, but slightly less than a ZX-6R. You could definitely do long rides on it but it would get uncomfortable relatively fast and you would probably need to start taking lots of breaks.
As someone who has rode this bike, an mt-07 and an rs660, this is by far the least fun out of the bunch. Y'all like to shit on parallel twins, but you know what's fun? Torque. This bike is so fucking lame. If you want a screaming inline 4, buy a used 600 and quit being a pssy.
@@CS-pl8fc Lol, you make a lot of assumptions there bud. I own an FZ09 as well for my torque fix, and a used 600 for true top end screaming fun at the track. Don't get butt-hurt that someone likes these bikes for what they are - fun and usable.
I rode one of these the other day at a Kawi event, and honestly it's really fun for a small bike. The intake noise is super cool, and if I was to pick between either a Ninja 650 or the 4RR I'd definitely pick the ZX no competition.
@@grunglegrunkus4023 The ninja 650 seems like the most boring sport bike out there to me, I get it, it makes sense, but a parallel twin just doesn't really excite me. I'd rather get a ninja 400 over the 650 for the lower weight.
@grunglegrunkus4023 Half the price? Lol, where are you getting a brand new Ninja 650 for 4850? Last time I checked there is only about 1-1.5k price difference between them.
Zack, this is a video idea for you and Ari: Sport standard vs Supersport. In which you could feature the Ninja 400, Ninja 650 and Ninja 1000 to their supersport counterparts, the ZX4RR, ZX6R and the ZX10R. It would be a perfect video to compare and contrast the strengths/weaknesses, features and so on all while exploring the Ninja DNA between models. I understand it would likely be a logistic nightmare, but it would surely be worth it. Something in the style of your ZX6R + Z900 vs R6 + FZ09 video would be fun. It's just the perfect opportunity since the ZX4RR has finally made an appearance and became that supersport counterpart to the Ninja 400. Make it happen! 😁 Zack, you and Ari are a freaking hoot to watch and I know you guys would knock this video out of the park too. Ride safe to you two and all of the Revzilla team. ✌️
Can leave out the Ninja 1000sx and the ZX-10R. Their video last year of the sport tourers vs Sportbike had both of those in them so they have pretty much been covered already.
Zack and Ari did make a video a few years ago with the z900/fz09 vs zx6r/r6, I think its on motorcycle magazine not revzilla but its still a great video
@Jaslath it would still be good to have them back to fully cover the range. I enjoyed that video too, but that video was pretty much "which is faster?" and none of that would ever see the strengths of the Ninja 1000 or other standards in comfort, range, accessories for touring, etc.
@crazycamkalani I know it. I really enjoyed that video too. Even though they weren't with Revzilla yet, I still go back and watch their old stuff too. I need to make a playlist of every Zack and Ari video that's still available... RIP Monkeys in Baja video...
I know its expensive for what it is. I know that if I ever got one that it'd be the detuned version. I know that the Ninja ZX 400 R is a better all-around road bike. I know flashing the ECU would immediately void the warranty. I know that at 6' 3", I might be a little large for such a small bike. I know that I'd get questions like "Why not just get a 600?" I do not care. God, I still want a ZX 400 RR... As someone who's a massive fan of small-dispalcement 70's, 80's and 90's Japanese four-cylinders, this one simply hits all of the right chords for me.
I'm a 90's child so I couldn't resist buying 40th anniversary bikes. You won't regret it regardless of the cash you spend. I literally just bought x4 40th anniversary bikes and not a single regret. I didn't like or buy the 650l 40th anniversary 1000sx same as the colour scheme is completely different from the rest of my 40th bikes plus I didn't like the red black 40th plain colour
Had a ninja 400 twin and now have the 2024 ZX4RR and this bike is so much more fun to ride, if you ride it like a 125 two stroke it flies in the canyons, cant wait to modify it for 80 hp then it will be a giant killer in the twisties. Super fun bike!😎
I've had my ZX-4RR since mid-June and have about 3,000 miles on it. I really really like it. The ergonomics are fantastic and it's great to ride. Not to mention insurance being over 2/3 less than on a ZX-6R. There are shortcomings many have outlined before, but the good far outway the bad.
The ZX-4RR is my first sport bike and I chose it for the simple fact that it was a low displacement high revving engine. Something I could grow into on a track as well. I usually cheap out with things I like to get the best deals but I wanted this one even with its price tag. It’s my third bike in the stable next to a BMW F650GS and a Harley Davidson Nightster 1200. I think it fits in with my odd little family perfectly. Does it make sense for most people? Probably not but im one of the few that had my heart set on it
For being a guy on a motorcycle by himself, you do a really good job of making it feel like we’re having a conversation. Great work as usual! Got some Michelin RoadSport 6’s for my z900 recently from Revzilla. These videos deserve some credit for that!
If you rode a Honda VFR/RVF400, CBR400 or ZXR400 in the early-mid 90’s, you were the fastest on the winding roads. They were the best handling sportsbikes at that time. Would like to se a test with the old ZXR400 and a new ZX4rr
I'm absolutely in love with this little bike as a concept and so stoked with your review. It's absolutely earmarked for my garage one day: I fell in love with the 6R 20 years ago, but I'm also 5'1" and 90% torso. I have to pop a cheek to get a foot down on my Ninja 400! There's absolutely no way I could get into the 600 class without a freakin' step ladder. The 4RR resolves every single thing for my stumpy pint-sized self.
Watching your videos is such a treat... the bike is just the bonus. By the way, I test rode one recently and my favorite thing about the ZX4RR is that it does everything that an inline 4 sportbike does, except does it at a much safer speed. A beginner would be safe on it coz they'll get the exhilaration and feel like they're going really fast when they're actually only doing legal speeds. What an amazing idea to keep sport bike lovers who like to 'send it' happy and safe at the same time! Tip of the hat to Kawasaki for sure.
I just got to ride this bike today at a Kawasaki demo ride event and I loved it. Definitely less aggressive body position than the ZX6-RR, but it still feels very serious. And of course the engine is a hoot. Great review
You know what I bet the reason it has you hold those two buttons to get to that menu is because Kawasaki doesn’t want people changing the more obscure, and not very riding specific settings like the time while they’re riding, the two buttons force you to take both hands off so you have to do it while parked
Finally a sportbike that makes sense on the road: has the power to get you to illegal speeds (especially EU spec), but you have to work for it a bit, it's nimble and has actual good brakes and suspension. On top of that if Zack (a giraffe if compared to a Japanese man) feels good on it, it's probably comfy enough to rack some miles. It's like the CBR650R but nimbler, I like the concept! I just hate that I'll have to wait to save enough money to get it
Big props to Kawasaki for making this bike in this day and age. Much to their credit, Kawasaki seems to be making some of the most interesting bikes over the last few years. Shame they neutered it for the US market although that 'problem' seems to be readily fixed with an ECU reflash to unlock that last 10HP over the final few thousand RPM.
@@anonym3017 If that was the goal, the restrictions would have been mainly ignition timing, not throttle opening. I also find it extremely hard to believe Kawasaki would think potential owners would prefer sacrificing 15 hp to run cheaper gas.
@@Daschickenify The EU has tighter emissions and noise laws for bikes than the US/CAN so those aren't the reason. which leaves the question of why the US bike can do with 91RON (87AKI) while EU, AUS, NZ, JP, etc bikes all need 95RON (91AKI).
I keep coming to a comparison with the early 2000s Type R Integra. The version we got in America wasnt quite as hot as the Euro/JDM version. And while probably not a huge commercial success by industry standards. It is/was loved and adored by enthusiast to an iconic status. I get That vibe with the Zx-4RR.
except for the fact that the reason why the US spec was less powerful is different. the integra R was less powerful in the US cause the US had tighter emission standards than the EU/Japan. for motorcycles Euro5 is way stricter than what the US currently has. so emission regs ain't the reason the US spec is less powerful. this time the reason is that the EU sped is tuned for 95 RON gasoline, which is equivalent to 91 octane in the US as the US uses AKI, as that is the worst gas you can buy in the EU.
@@xorbe2 That clearly doesn't work as a reason. US/CAN Panigale V4s are no quieter than their EU counterparts and way louder than the ZX4. furthermore both the US and Canada have less restrictive vehicle noise regs than the EU. as in any challenger/charger hellcats imported into the EU get new mufflers cause the stock ones are too loud.
@@anonym3017 In 2002 I purchased a new Honda Civic Type R (EP3) they literally made them about 60 miles away from where I live (Swindon U.K.). Long story short a few months later I found myself living in New Jersey for a 2 year period, I went into the local Honda dealer looking to lease purchase the same car and asked the sales guy what could he do? In the US at that time you had this thing called the S, sunroof (big deal) not remotely sporty around 40 horses down. I showed him my British sales brochure he genuinely looked pissed off……and so was I. Why does the US get a raw deal on horsepower it doesn’t make any sense, they did the same with the BMW 1000RR
I’ve been looking forward to hearing Zack’s opinion on this. What a great episode for a great bike! I hope Kawasaki listens to him and makes the next year paint scheme in the retro 90’s styling.
I love that Zack and Ari have both ridden large capacity bikes and clearly are very experienced motorcyclists, yet they both love a small capacity motorcycle. I used to think that you only ever went up in the world of motorcycles, buying bigger every time, but I've dropped from a big bike to a medium size bike several times and it's always been a good experience. I won't deny you get an itch for more cc's after a few years but all bikes are great!
This takes me back to the old CBR400, VFR400, FZR400, and ZXR400 days. Small sports machines, fast enough to be dangerous and usable in the streets. I love this direction Kawa went.
I have been pining for an R6 for years and started riding just in time to find out that they don't make them anymore. Then, I look around and find that these 4 cyl engines are going extinct in small bikes and get a little depressed. I don't know if I will buy one, but it makes my heart happy to see them come back.
Kawasaki just announced the Retro paint scheme (40th anniversary edition) that Zach asked for at 26:41. It looks pretty dope (it's also available on the ZX6R and 10R).
@@DaschickenifyI'm glad I waited to order - as soon as they announced the paint job, I put a deposit down - it was that extra push I needed to order one.
This thing sounds so fun. I was literally thinking I just want to hear this thing rev up half a dozen times in a row… and then you did it at the end! Thanks Mr or Mrs editor 👍
i hope there's more of these little bikes coming out from others. there's so much potential to revive sport bike sales by investing seriously into bikes that are gateways to learning how to actually ride 1
Half way to saving up to buy one of these brand new. Had litre bikes and a couple 600,s cant wait for something i can rev out with being 10x the speed limit.
I currently have an FZ-10 and a Ninja 300. Every time I get on the ninja, the lightness and fun still comes through but I always wish it had a bit more power. I want this bike to succeed but at this price thats going to stop a lot of people shopping that doesn't see what all the enthusiasts see, but we need those non-enthusiasts to pick the bike to fill out some of those sales. In a country where people are led to believe that if you weigh 250lbs you NEED a hayabusa to get anywhere, this lil guy is fighting an uphill battle. I think getting the price down to 7500-8k would set it up as an actual value pick. I know thats not what this is supposed to be but at the end of the day, sales are sales and kawasaki is still a business.
At the start I was worried you weren't going to get the point of this bike. I still ride an NC23 and its my favorite bike. If this new ZX-4RR had retro styling I would be all over it.
Thank you Kawasaki for still making cool af bikes, every so often. I don't care some of the current crop of 300-400cc parallel "Commuters" make more torque and are fuel efficient. They're all bland. People only try and track them because that's all that's available in the class lol I feel for the kids. Struggle to see how one can be passionate about those bikes. Can we get a hardcore KX-based Supermoto now? A 250 & 450 please, and thank you.
I’m sure this video came out before Kawasaki released the 40th Anniversary color-way. Definitely a throw back look! Having a 4RR, Zach is on the money with its everyday fun. I ride 1 mile to and from work and it’s a great 1 mile scream fest 😂 Smile on my face everyday.
This Kawasaki ZX-4RR was made for track days and for twisty, lonely roads where there is almost no traffic. It's almost a crime he didn't tap up through the gears, but I get it. Nobody wants to lose their license and their job. A great bike to not kill yourself on but to have those MotoGP dreams come true, at least for a few turns. It is special. It would have been even more special with a fully adjustable suspension.
I test road the ZX-4RR and could not stop doing the Zack giggle. It was such a cool little bike. I would love to see the motor in a Kawasaki Versys-XR 400. We can always dream.
I rode the Ninja 25R last weekend and it was amazing revving up to 16k while being under the speed limit. I can't wait to ride the 400RR (non-US version) soon!
Used to own the first swingarm Honda vfr 400 (nc 24) and the final version of the RVF 400. Both awesome little bikes, helped me evolve as a rider immensely. Not expecting any factory producing any V-4 400s today, but in-line 4 supersports from all major manufacturers will be a nice thing.
One of the best reviews I’ve seen as a person who doesn’t own a bike YET but this is definitely the bike I’ve wanted and have been doing my research on for like 2 months lol
55mph in first gear... I was hoping the zx4rr actually would be slower :D I saw the zx 25r once and I loved how it sounded like an absolute racer going through the gears while bassicaly just keeping with the traffic. Zack didnt even have much of a chance to actually go through the gears on the zx4rr, pretty much just rev out the first gear and then shift up to start cruising because you are already too fast for riding in a city.
i would absolutely love that bike! a shame its not a bit cheaper. I had a 650 ninja but realized i was speeding in seconds, now i ride my little 300 ninja and have a blast revving high and having fun. wish i woulda got the 400 though
I am and have always been partial to the sound of a 4 cylinder motorcycle engine and though I don't ride a sport bike, this makes me want this'n!! I realize there are a lot of really good parallel twins on the market but I don't care for the sound..only my opinion..thanks for bringing back the 70s and 80s with the 4!!! I have to say, I really felt your struggle on where this bike places on the daily rider board and good job where it fell !!!
Quality mate! Looks mint. Can’t wait to get my hands on something a little bigger. Currently rocking the Z125 2023. Great little bike for what it is like! Just lacks a little speed!
I had a ZXR400, back in the early 90,s even then it was a blast, although I'm a 600/750 lover now, I love this bike, congrats to Kawasaki for releasing this, I hope its a hit and they sell a truckload
I would LOVE to see a video/series where you take the normal ninja 400 and try to upgrade it to match the performance of this bike on the track. Compare cost effectiveness, handling, reliability, etc
I had the zxr 400 loved that thing haven’t been on a bike for 20 years this would be my entry point again before I moved up, I would be super nervous going back on a bike after so long!
Yes that sums it up. We have the old 1993 ZXR400 since 18 years and bought the ZX-4RR, both awesome. But the 4RR is a lot easier to ride and less commited on the ergos, fantastic package. Those engines are both gems, you either understand and love them or you don't. But if you rev them out, I have yet to see someone not smile (and/or giggle).
I feel this review missed the point of this bike. Its a 400 that is pushing Yamaha R7 power and a higher top speed. This is an engineering marvel and an amazing tribute to the old 90's screemers. This will be a very welcome addition to my garage.
Thats one sexy motorcycle. About the sponsor, all my gears except the jacket came from Revzilla, although I had to first get it delivered to a friend in Canada then he brought it to me when he came back home, as the delivery to my country is not straight forward from any international stores. I hope international delivery to countries with extreme import taxes gets easier. Thanks for the video.
takes me back to my 1000exup days, when my pals had the 400vfr and cbr gullwing swingarm crazy revmobiles. Never owned one, but rode one of the cbr400's and they are so light and fun. This is awesome, well done Kawasaki for keeping it mad!
watching you ride and talk made me feel better. i just bought a ninja 500 and when i get up to 6k rpms on the freeway at 60 mph i feel im going to blow it up.... new to riding motorcycles
I have a crf250l that sits at 7k rpm at 68mph that I’ve taken on 4hr+ trips across state lines and she still runs great. Your bike should be fine at that rpm 👍
I like how at the end, on the Daily Rider ranking board, there are tough questions about whether this is better than a Hayabusa, or a Ninja 400...but really the answer is about the same as the last 25 years, which is get an SV650.
this thing gives me miata vibes in a good way. its like having the super sport that is fast and fun but this bike you can ride closer to its limits on the street without really having to worry about killing your self like you would on a 600-1,000cc bikes. Give this thing a flash tune and an exhaust and I think this would be a perfect sports bike. Hard choice for me between this and a R7
As a beginner I currently own a Ninja 300 and a friend owns a Ninja 400, we find that driving on the highway to be less smooth as we live in the outback so buying a 4 cylinder version would be better for the highways so I will probably change to the ZX4RR later on, however if I lived in the city I would probably just get a Ninja 400 for the bottom end torque... The popular saying is its better to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.
Nice bike. The only gripe I have is although i like kawi green, I wish there was a blue color option. The plasma blue from the older 636 would be nice on this bike.
this is what i would like to be my first bike. still a small 400 but also sport enough to prepare me for a 600 and possibly a liter bike in the far future. I can get my handling, reactions, and beginner bike stuff down on it.
It whould be nice to include the metric specs as text when you talk about the weight, fuel capacity, torque etc. I think a large portion of the viewers whould find this usefull!

Respect to Zach for giving this a fair shake, even if it isn’t his jam. Zach, if you read this, I’m curious about how much your elbows block the view in the mirrors, both upright and in the tuck. I ride a ninja 300 currently, if you remember the mirror situation of that one. I guess a comparison to the ninja 400 would be very close.
I never considered buying a sub 600cc bike until this review. Would love to have that thing in the garage. That’s all the speed and fun I need when I need a dose.
I have a 2023 GR86 and I feel like the reasons I bought it apply to this little 4 cylinder. It's something of a throwback and sure, there are more powerful things, but the experience of driving that car is what I got it. I'm currently talking myself into upgrading my versys to one of these.

"Fun Bike"
You can ring it out everytime, and it sounds amazing.
"Nice n light"
So you can play without it trying to kill you.
The perfect daily ride.
Also it's quite a bit more relaxed riding position than zx6r so your back and wrists won't hurt & go numb.
Love my 4RR. An ECU flash and slip-on muffler really transform the bike from stock form.
Loved the older ones. I think if they where doing this they should have skipped the 6R till next year then another 4RR the following year.
How much power did you gain?
@@vyas555 They limit the bike to 52hp, with the correct euro/asian map you get about 70hp
That's awesome. Chris Moore's video on that really shows how it opens up with a flash.
Why are factory ecus always so bad?
With parallel twins taking over the industry, like pairs of sensible shoes, I agree that Kawasaki deserves a tip of the hat for making this bike.
For a big price difference, yes.
Parallel twins for $12k plus
As a new rider that always enjoyed the sound and look of 4cyl Sportbikes, this is the perfect bike. 600cc bikes are non existent in the EU anymore. This makes the cool noises, looks cool, and has all the tech and safety features that a noob like me needs. Also I wont go to jail by red-lighting 1st gear. A Yamaha R6 does over 115km/h in 1st.
I was considering the Ninja 400 as a first bike last year, until I heard the rumors that a ZX4R was in the works and "could" come to EU. We didn't get the ZX25R but Im glad we got the 400cc version
kawasaki brought back the ZX6 in the EU.

@@Kaosad69 Thanks for that reply, really appreciate it. I’m trying to downsize and am doing some rather extreme cross-shopping ;-)
Honestly, if I were to get a sport bike, I'd want this one. The idea of a small 4 cylinder that revs to the moon just sounds so fun!
Or you can get like a ninja 650 and have about the same power on less cylinders and like half the price.
@@fastec5Just get a zx6r for like a grand more and have 5x the sportbike.
@grunglegrunkus4023 Half the price? Lol, where are you getting a brand new Ninja 650 for 4850? Last time I checked there is only about 1-1.5k price difference between them.
Exactly why I bought one. For that sweet inline 4. It's a fantastic little machine and I love it.
Zack, this is a video idea for you and Ari:
Sport standard vs Supersport.
Zack, you and Ari are a freaking hoot to watch and I know you guys would knock this video out of the park too.
@TheDeadeye5 aww damn really is the monkey baja video gone?!?!
I know that I'd get questions like "Why not just get a 600?"
I do not care.
God, I still want a ZX 400 RR...
As someone who's a massive fan of small-dispalcement 70's, 80's and 90's Japanese four-cylinders, this one simply hits all of the right chords for me.
Buy one! If you don't, Kawasaki will assume you don't want one :)
I'm riding this bike a lot more then I did my 2021 MT07 that I traded in. I've all most got 2k miles on it in a month. Just love riding it.
"It's like all of the experiences of going fast but without the speed." Perfect review for this bike
Probably not but im one of the few that had my heart set on it
Same, I’ve got a Yamaha V Star and now this and I feel complete.

There are absolutely goofy gains to be had with an ECU flash, and with a good exhaust they sound fantastic. What a cool little bike.
Not gains. "Restoration" is a much more accurate way to state it.
@@exothermal.sprocket good point
I think fortnine did the math on it and figured out the engine's good for like 92? Something like that
Watching your videos is such a treat... the bike is just the bonus.

I have the Ninja 1000 sx and You have to press the Select Button for a few seconds and U get into the Menu.
Zack and Ari are actually the best possible commercial for Revzilla. They're the main reason I buy a lot of products there.
Shame they neutered it for the US market although that 'problem' seems to be readily fixed with an ECU reflash to unlock that last 10HP over the final few thousand RPM.
they neutered it so it can run on 87 AKI gasoline.
@@anonym3017 If that was the goal, the restrictions would have been mainly ignition timing, not throttle opening. I also find it extremely hard to believe Kawasaki would think potential owners would prefer sacrificing 15 hp to run cheaper gas.
EUDSSR emission laws are the reason, unfortunately 😔😊
@@Daschickenify The EU has tighter emissions and noise laws for bikes than the US/CAN so those aren't the reason.
which leaves the question of why the US bike can do with 91RON (87AKI) while EU, AUS, NZ, JP, etc bikes all need 95RON (91AKI).
@@enricohagn the EU version is more powerful you muppet.
It will be a collectible for sure
except for the fact that the reason why the US spec was less powerful is different.
the integra R was less powerful in the US cause the US had tighter emission standards than the EU/Japan.
for motorcycles Euro5 is way stricter than what the US currently has. so emission regs ain't the reason the US spec is less powerful.
this time the reason is that the EU sped is tuned for 95 RON gasoline, which is equivalent to 91 octane in the US as the US uses AKI, as that is the worst gas you can buy in the EU.
@@anonym3017 It's because the USA has to suffer Canadian noise regulations -- at least the way Kawasaki decided to regionalize production.

People only try and track them because that's all that's available in the class lol

I would LOVE to see a video/series where you take the normal ninja 400 and try to upgrade it to match the performance of this bike on the track. Compare cost effectiveness, handling, reliability, etc

"engine doesn't tug at my heart strings"... proceeds to giggle throuout the review 😅
Zack, you are informative and entering. Love watching your daily ride bike reviews.
Kudos for Kawasaki for making this. ECU flash plus a slip on exhaust and it’s an amazing deal!

Thats one sexy motorcycle. About the sponsor, all my gears except the jacket came from Revzilla, although I had to first get it delivered to a friend in Canada then he brought it to me when he came back home, as the delivery to my country is not straight forward from any international stores. watching you ride and talk made me feel better. i just bought a ninja 500 and when i get up to 6k rpms on the freeway at 60 mph i feel im going to blow it up.... new to riding motorcycles
I have a crf250l that sits at 7k rpm at 68mph that I’ve taken on 4hr+ trips across state lines and she still runs great. Your bike should be fine at that rpm 👍
Everyone judges bikes like you can only have one bike, and I get it.
But this is a decent second bike.
This is a perfect 3rd bike.
Restricting a 400cc bike when there are 200 HP bikes being sold strikes me as perverse and ill considered.
The giggles on the dirt road gotta be the best I heard all year

Zack, I’m having flashbacks of you at Loudon on the 125 punting me in T9!!! Great stuff as usual man!
