Most viewers enjoy watching work being done rather than listening to what work is going to be done. That would make your already awesome videos that much better. Just do buddy,we will follow you.
Over the past month I have watched all your videos from start to finish and absolutely love everything your doing. Keep up the killer work. Oh and the quality from the first to now, your doing it right. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
any thoughts to put a fresh brush job or slightly polish the tank to match the fender? then they could patina with time together and always match... Just a thought.
Looking good. I love the grey/brushed finish The patina gives it a very classic look. Don't go all shiny. A gun metal paint frame would look great. You're doing a great job. I am due to fit an munit to my oif triumph, so looking forward to that video. Any initial thoughts on wire gauges you plan to use as it's kick only?
If the chrome is gone, try some boiling hot white vinegar. Neutralize the reaction with baking soda and water. It'll put a darker patina on it and should be a closer match after you brush it again. I use it on the knives I make and it's safe to experiment with.
To finish the fender; :Linseed oil. It dulls and patinas regular steel. Will stop rust. Easy way to clean it (reapply oil). Not sure how it will work on chrome though.
I think that leaving the fender like that it might just age and look more like that once weather and sunlight and all that stuff gets to it... I don't know though I'm just a child 😂
1) I like the fender unpainted...try getting it more dull, but don't paint it. even as-is looks good. especially when you get the engine and everything reassembled, it will look fine. just clear-coat it. 2) I think fewer, more edited videos would be best for your audience...getting tons of notifications of less-refined videos may not achieve the desired result. in my opinion! I'll keep watching regardless.

Looks great, love the build. Doing the same thing with an old Sporty, yours looks so good just shoot it with clear. Looks badazz in metalfinish.

About youre shiny fender, i believe you need to keep grinding until you will break through the crome. Then the bare metal will give you another look.
clear will dull it worth a shot
Nice video men i love the triumph !
Make the word firestone on the tired white with a white tire marker that give the bike a Nice look
Tinted clear 😻

14-16 gauge should be good for a kick start only bike.

keep in mind linseed will yellow the colour so also something to reckon with
Springer front would be cool.
Taylor, I really enjoy your videos. Hows the Eastwood combo welder working out im thinking of buying one. Would you recommend?
Yeah I love both of them. Can't beat it for the price.
Thanks
that's a shame, I love skinny rear tyres
I think these will be a good middle ground. They're only .25 inches wider than stock.

Forced patina on the fender with vinegar and a coat of clear
