We used to play "break the Bucky" on THPS N64. Choose Bucky Lasek, activate all cheats minus big head mode,skate till your N64 overheats. You just broke Bucky!
Serious respect to Bucky for dipping out of the franchise after THUG just because of personal principles, not a lot of people could do that.

Pro skater 1 was one of my first video games I played as a kid and I was immediately hooked.
I can't skateboard to save my life, but I can string a nasty combo in THPS! This game is a vital part of my childhood!
I used to play Mike Vallely my skateboard idol back in the day. I'd skate mullen a lot as well. Back in the day lol man time flys.
He had the best dialogue in THPS4

Bucky was my ace in the hole on Pro Skater 3. I loved Bam and Tony and all those cats, but Bucky's stats just worked for me every time.
Bucky is a legit legend, he was the main guy I played with because I thought his style was the best out of all of boarders. Love everyone though.

I skated with muska and lizard king and a bunch of the Supra team and I did a muska flip for him and he signed my board. Also we kept trying to get him to bang our friend’s mom 😂 all in all awesome dudes

pro skater is partially responsible for the poorly executed skatepark builds of the early 2000s. you can tell which ones were designed by people who could only imagine what skatable obstacles might look like.

That’s been happening for decades. Since skateparks were first built it was by people who didn’t skate and only imagined what it was supposed to be like

🍕Pizza P!zza - Skateboard on a massive pizza (flatground park)

I mean Of course Tony got the lions share of the money, his name was on the game! Not to mention the game was even most likely concieved and sold initally due to Tony's popularity. ALSO not to mention, I'd bet money he told them who he wanted in the game (Bucky)! I like Bucky, but idk why he'd expect to get the same paycheck Tony did lol Say you tell your buddy you want him to have a small part in a project you already got going, super easy money, and he goes around saying he's MAD that he didn't get the same money you did?! Nah, American Wasteland was where it went awry. They tried to do things with Project 8 and eventually Ride but the well was dry. Thug was, in my opinion, the best of the series.

Why did you play Tony Hawk games? Gameplay is everything in a Tony Hawk game and they retained that gameplay all throughout their games until Neversoft shut down. So you clearly didn't play them for the gameplay.. what else could you play them for?

No the games were not killing it. After thps 2 things went downhill. 3 and 4 flopped. Thug was good af, but thug 2 was blah. And the rest is dust. At least how I remember it.
