You have helped save my life my health is not good I've had a stroke I've had a heart attack beat cancer septicemia and then I just lost for a liters of blood this year. So go on and my son-in-law who was killed God bless him he got me started with all your paints because I didn't have the money. And I clearly don't have the vision because I am blind in both eyes from the stroke so it's detailed as you know. Your staff David is just amazing as you are and your your wonderful wonderful life. I beg that you stay safe yourself so that we don't you don't get sick and are unable to teach that would probably kill me. I have already watch this video like I don't know maybe five times because I don't see properly and you're right you do see something new every time and I have watched all your videos so many times. You sure are a very good teacher Mr Jensen. I am a self taught natural painter, as a hobby, right from my childhood (am 65 now) & always enjoy painting, whenever I can (am I Doctor). Learning, as you rightly said, is a lifelong process & I really loved the way you patiently taught petaling the roses. Thank you & much regards! I am going to now paint one small canvas with roses & hope I can create a piece atleast half as beautiful as yours. 🙌
David Jansen Delighted to get your encouraging reply, Mr Jansen! Am halfway through my small canvas, finished with my 'queen rose' 🙂 so far (after background). You made it look so simple that I thought I would probably finish it in a day, but then you are the "Teacher" & I am just now learning this particular way of painting so yes, after practice, I think I will be able to finish in a day, I guess 😅, but for now, am enjoying this learning process.

I have been trying to paint roses, but failing terribly... but I will not give up... even though I am working with other brand acrylics... and just got some oil paints... Hi Sonam, Some of the techniques i show you can not do with oils because I let some areas dry before I paint on top. Might be very frustrating trying to paint them. On the 30 day rose challenge playlist I show some techniques where I work on the acrylics dry. You might find those helpful. 😊

I admire the fact that you can still think like a "beginner" and teach us so much. My eldest daughter also works in health care, she is a therapist for addicted women who are pregnant. She also continues to work. Sometimes I am so concerned for her, her husband and my two grandchildren. Prayers for all carers.
This is sooo awesome, I actually have a couple copies of Redoute prints in storage and it's 1 of the reasons of why I loved floral painting. Love the Rose variety sitting on your easel and this is another outstanding lesson. Thank you David

The painting is so gorgeous that I called my husband over to look at it...he said, "Wow, that beautiful." I painted along with you (mind you, after watching the video 4 times)and painted two decent roses. It was a huge struggle because I was using student grade paint. So, I need to save up my pennies so I can buy the wonderful paint you use. In the meantime, I will continue to learn a Lot by watching your videos. 😁🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨

Oh my, I think I need to do 1k LOL I tried the last video and it was pretty horrific, but it was my first one, so I just dated it, and put it away, I am sure after 100 roses, that one will be much better than the first :) Thank you so much for these lessons!
