Thank you all so much for all the name suggestions!! ❤️❤️ So many incredible names were mentioned, but the first name that spoke to me was the one I picked. The name for my new partner in crime CRF250L is... SAVANNAH!! 😍 Let’s go!!
Perfect !
Savannah ❤️ you go girl 😎
Like it, just like you savez 🐞, and "that" velcro sound.. gloves on gloves off, game face on game face off. Still do the dance somewhere wild in the mountains 💪
Good choice, glad to see you riding again!!! Go Noraly, go Savannah! Many greetings from Croatia!!!
Wishing you and Savannah a wonderful journey this season. Enjoy!
This is one of the very few channels where I enjoy reading the comments, as much as actually seeing the video .. you bring out so much positivity from your viewers that it is rare to see a negative one. Take care and wish you the best.
Hello rudelchw. Couldn't agree more. What really impresses me is how Noraly's approach to things draws out the best in most of us ... which you see here. I know it sounds cliche and new world techie, but there is a community of sorts that is built around this. Cheers.
I agree, somehow her infectious positivity and happy ramblings and easy listening voice and her confidence, inspire us all to be supportive and helpful. Ho to her website and donate some cash!! ;)

Thank you for showing us so many parts of the world that most of us will never see in person. You brighten my day.

Why is this not being aired on National Geographic? I don't get it. Her channel is a gem of UA-cam! 💯
Well said !!!
You're an amazing positive woman. You are doing more gravel roads than 98% of us that's got big adventure motorcycles. Enjoy every moment and be safe.
Somebody asked me today which TV-series I am watching right now. I was tempted to say "Itchy Boots" - nobody would have guessed what it is. But it´s my favorite series right now. I live about 300 meters from that intersection and its a very badly designed traffic light - it stays red for ages and there are usually no cars coming the other way. It should have just been a yield sign and so I also pretty much just ignore it and go when safe.
@@garyklinkert6737 What an incredible age we live in Gary that someone like you can pop up in Noraly' s comments who lives right where she is. Amazing.
@@toqtoq3361 In the states, back during the first energy crisis people realized they were wasting gas at stop lights when no one was coming, so most states passed laws saying that you could make a right turn at a red light after you came to a stop. Assume it is the same there only it's left hand traffic instead of right hand..... so it would only make sense.
Hey Noraly, according to general travel advice for South Africa, they say you should be very careful at vulnerable point such as : traffic lights, stop signs, yield signs and highway off-ramps. Have a nice trip and thank you for showing us the world!

The problem with your channel Noraly, is I'm starting to become envious. There you are experiencing the world, seeing it for yourself, tasting the food, talking to the people, visiting amazing places. And I'm still stuck here in the same old life. Lucky you.
You may not have the 'Noraly' option of total committment to this but hey, you could have 'Noraly' day here and there. Take off a whole day and taste some food, talk to some people , visit some place amazing close to home. Go for it buddy !!
At the end of that day I guarantee you will not be thinking "Oh man, I'm so sorry I lived like this for a whole day. I'm such a disappointment. " It will bring positive energy to the other things in your life as a bonus. Going to work will actually make MORE sense after a day like that.
Hey, I've managed to talk MYSELF into doing this. hahaha I've been in a rut for quite some time - it's time to jump the rut and have some fun.
@@kirkjohnson9353 Yes, indeed. If you can't go far, go where you are.
Due to age and family commitments, I can't do what Noraly does, but her example was enough for me to buy my first motorcycle in twenty years and at least get out and experience the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I may not go further than that, but I'm glad I did.
Ditto
@Dave If you can buy a motocycle and start exploring little streets of your region far away from the mainstream, visit new places, and if you have two days free, stay in a little bed&breakfast just where you land in the evening! You'll learn so many new aspects of your country, and also such a short adventure will give you happiness for the rest of the working week and make your soul shine! It's worth it, just start and do your thing.
Every time is a good time to start! I started close to 60 with my first motocycle riding lessons and am exploring now the closer and farer regions which my job allow to reach. It's like a new life, and every minute on my bike gives me joy, happiness and freedom. Just do it! I wish you all the best 🙂👍🏍
As a west coast Canadian I really enjoyed my time in South Africa. Although, for me, that was 30 years ago. I got to see Cape Town, Jo Burg, Durban, Kruger National Park, and most in between. There were very nice people there. Thanks for sharing your videos and allowing me to see this wonderful country again “on the road.”
Every country has its issues but RSA is a stunning country! Thanks for coming here, hope you not only see the beauty but experience the spirit of Ubuntu that most of us embrace.
True to form, as soon as she hits the dirt road, its 1 hand camera and 1 hand handlebars. You are treading where 99,999% of people in South Africa wouldn't dare to tread. I am a fully fledged South African, but I think I am REALLY going to enjoy this series.
Is South Afirca that dangerous or is everyone there a pansy?

The side you were given with your Bobotie and salad looks as though it is probably Vetkoek. Also a traditional South African food, very often sold by street vendors.
I've heard from friends in Zimbabwe that they often do not stop at lights in parts of the country where they are fearful of carjacking.
I think that one was just stuck on red which happens often as well 👍
Was in Joburg two years ago, you are correct, I hope she stays safe
I've heard of that for even stop signs in places like Gary, Indiana or parts of Detroit. Apparently even the police there advise to not stop.
Same on Brazil, there's a lot of places that we don't stop due to carjacking.
I've lived in a few townships around Durban in South Africa and I rarely stopped at any lights, treated them more like a yield sign. I had, on a few occasions, guns and knifes pulled on me as I came to a slight stop but avoided any issues via the accelerator.
Tears of joy in my eyes! Noraly is back on the road where she belongs. I am so looking forward to this new series. Can't wait.
Bravo Norely... merci pour ces belles images
So good to hear that famous "Let's go" again!!!
Almost, never been this early for your videos, keep riding, stay safe .
I lived in RSA for 12 years. The reason the traffic ignores red lights is to avoid carjackers. They would lie in wait for cars stopped at junctions then rob the driver and steal the car. It would be easy for them to knock you off your bike. A very dangerous country
very brave riding alone in South Africa good luck
Thank you for travelling our country, may you be made welcome.Cheers.

When I was a kid I toured Europe twice on my motorcycle. It seemed like a big adventure at the time but nothing like what you are doing. You are a good rider. You read the road ahead well and take the best route for obstacles and bad terrain. Guys like to go fast but steady wins the day. Your little Honda is superb. I went on a Honda too. They are super reliable.

Seeing you back again has made my lonely lockdown weeks enjoyable again
The orange fluffy things with the bobotie are called pampoenkoekies, roughly translated it is called pumpkin cookies, but it is called pumpkin fritters in English, and it is mashed pumpkin mixed with flour, eggs, and cinnamon
"Oh, this is yummy yum-yum." The food looked great even before you took a bite. It's surprising how anxious I, myself, felt upon your riding a new, small motorcycle through Johannesburg, on the left side, and being unfamiliar with local traffic laws. And the intense heat. I am relieved to see you relaxing in a nice, peaceful place for the night with a good meal and beautiful room. It's a good start!

As for your hydration: I like to find a way to put the hydration pack either in my tank bag or strapped on the outside. On one setup I was able to crisscross the shoulder straps around and under the tank bag and still had full access inside the bag. I don't like to wear it either.
