Replacing a sink doesn't really need 2 be done by a plumber, not a simple replacement if you have water lines coming to sink with shut off valves right at sink. It's not that unusual to have a handyman or subcontractor replace a sink or toilet, re plumbing entire bathroom, putting in new bathroom, new house, older home that needs new plumbing yes needs a plumber. My husband is a contractor and has replaced many toilets, sinks, tubs, etc. If it needs a permit and a inspection, you need a licensed plumber except in some states the homeowner can pull permit and do it themselves. I see what you were saying though, you probably want a plumber or someone who is licensed and/or insured.

My brother was 12 and the elderly neighbor lady asked him to clean her gutters. He got up on the roof and spent 2 hours cleaning all the gunk. He went to get paid and she gave him 50 cents! He learned right then to negotiate price prior to doing the work.
He needed that 100 bucks bad. I wouldn't have accepted no less that 250 dollars.

When she asked her if she saw him drop the box she said no, that she didn't even see him open the box, and then a bit later she says verbatim "when he put the box on the floor, he dropped the box, he opened it up and it was cracked". It amazes me that the people who try to lie in court can't even bother to be good liars lmao

Dangerous woman. She said he dropped the box and cracked it as if it was a fact but reluctantly admitted, only when directly asked, that she never saw him drop the box. Then changed it to he dropped the box when he placed it on the fall but had already said she wasn’t there when he carried in or when he opened the box.

That has happened to me before with home Depot so I absolutely believe him. Either the people packing it didn't care if it got broke, the driver delivering didn't care, or the store employees didn't care, but he is telling the truth with that.

The Plaintiff have no idea of the cost it takes to do a simple renovation. To replace a vanity you need someone who can do minimal disconnect/reconnect plumbing if they are using flex hoses. It gets more complicated if they are hard copper lines running to the faucet. $100 for all that was a seal when hiring a jack of all trades as it could have easily been 1 carpenter to replace the vanity and one plumber to do the disconnect/reconnect.

She’s a jerk for taking advantage and an idiot for having reasonable expectations. You get what you pay for! I own an auto repair shop and I refuse customers who ask for Mickey Mouse “repairs” if you can even call them that. I tell them to find someone else, we do things right or not at all, and that includes with the use of QUALITY parts. We don’t like to do things twice or have a multitude of issues just because someone is pressuring us to save them a buck. It’s one thing when people can’t afford it and need the help, but this woman just flat out expected too much for $100.

I worked for a furniture retailer for 18 years and there is simply no way sometimes to know when a boxed item you take home, un-inspected beforehand, was damaged. A box can be in pristine condition and something can still be cracked inside.
