- In this video I go to Harry's Coin Shop and get an appraisal on some crazy coins that I brought in. I brought fake coins, old coins, rare silver coins, world coins, error coins, and even a gold coin as well. I was wanting to see if they would spot the fake silver coins. I was surprised by the results of the appraisal and had a great time seeing the process. This was one of the hardest coin appraisal videos I have done to date. If you are wanting to take coins to a local coin shop or to a bullion dealer for appraisal then this is the video for you. I walked into the shop one day, and Adrian took one look at me and immediately told me the change in my pocket wasn't real, my shoes were the wrong size, my wife was unfaithful, my parents had adopted me, and my haircut sucked. He changed my life! Give that man a raise, Harry!

Thanks again for the 1987 1/10th Oz Australian Nugget Gold Coin Harry! I can say that the giveaway is legit, and I was the lucky winner! I have the coin on display with a few of my favorite silver coins, and I gaze at it every day. I just love it! (Of course I keep the rest of my stack is locked up tight, and I just keep a few of my favorites on display on my desk at home.) I also loved learning about the history of these coins. Really, really interesting how they were produced and minted! Also, Silver Dragons shipped the coin out to me quick as well, and was very pleasant to talk to via email! I have viewed many videos regarding coins and coin shops, and this is by far the one of the best sites. The dealers are genuine, professional and the questions are well thought out. Thanks for the information. I've learned more than I thought I knew. The best comment was by Harry when he stated, " The $20 gold piece has not really lost its value...." and gave a very clear explanation on why. Thanks for the mentorship, Harry.
I always go to reputable dealers for my silver coins, I have learned what to look for before I started watching this but still have learned a whole lot more from you guys than anywhere else. Keep doing what you're doing, you have probably saved a lot of people from buying fakes.
