Harry's shop is a big part of my exit plan when I start to sell off in retirement. It won't be for probably at least five more years. So I'm really hoping to meet Harry but I would imagine Harry will be retired from day to day business by then.
Get to know them. I went to a coin shop that is close to my work.. I stop by to have them check my coins. The new owner is a really cool guy... he will send my coins out to get graded at cost. No mark up what NGC charges him he will charge me. He has a new customer.
If I wasn't 2,000 miles away I would be in Harry's at least once a week. What a nice story and interview. Harry and Adrian are what America was built on. Kindness, compassion and a love for their calling. Congratulations on God making your dream shop come true Harry. Nice job SD!
There are coin shops in your area I’m sure. Most coin dealers are just as kind and honest they just don’t have cameras following them around giving them widespread exposure
I am visiting my Daughter in Portland and had to stop by Harry’s coins because of these Silver Dragons videos. They are the real deal. As nice and humble as the day is long. I picked up some pretty cool stuff, France, Australia, Belgium, and a few ancients. They are approachable, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Everything you could want in your LCS. I plan to save a dit for my next visit as I found the prices to be very competitive. If you are in the Portland area and a coin nerd I promise you will not be disappointed. 10/10 will be back.
I am 9 time zones away,but my brother lives in Beaverton. Of course I told him to go to Harry's and buy me a tube of Eagles, Maple Leafs or Buffalo's,every month. Seldom you find a likeable person like him.

I’m 27 right now, I started learning financial literacy and now I’m trying to get out of debt. Then I started looking into silver and gold channels and made my mindset change, I cut back all the bs spending, I pay my bills and whatever’s left I save 1/2 in cash the rest have turned into gold and silver. I just turned 64 in early March 2024 and had never really taken an interest in precious metals. Then my 24 year old son showed me a 5 oz Sunshine Mint bar he had purchased online and something just clicked in my head. Less than two months later and I have a nice little collection going and I'm really enjoying it. My newly awakened avarice is not matched by my pocketbook however since I'm retired and I am by no means financially secure. But I'm enjoying it as much as I can. BTW my collection includes that 5 oz bar because I purchased it from him. :)

I visited a half dozen places that said they sold coins near me and found no one like Harry's. Now I know why, because there is no one like Harry. By far Silver Dragons your videos with the gang at Harry's Coin Shop are my favorite coin and bullion content on UA-cam.

I'm fortunate to have a local shop like this one. The owner himself is an example of what I hope to be not just as a business man. Also what kind of human being we should all strive to be.

My stepdad was in the grocery business for over 3 decades, he found a lot of old silver people brought in, especially during a recession. He liked to show me his finds when I was just a kid in the early 1960's. That ignited my interest in coins. At one point he had two large, metal toolboxes full of coins, commemoratives, and proof sets, American and Canadian. Unfortunately, the collection was gutted due to a couple of medical emergencies. When he passed in 2017, there was a fraction of what was once an impressive collection. Since then, I've slowly rebuilt it adding my own coins and buying pieces missing from both collections. When I find silver or unusual coins in a Coinstar machine, I think of him looking down at me with a big grin on his face saying, "way to go, kid". Thanks for sharing your own story, Harry. Harry came a long way with his coin shop in only a few years. Unusually to go into a small business and all the workers are extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and go out of thier way to explain things.

Love seeing someone in a coin shop that's passionate about what they do, and is happy to share that passion in a positive way. I've been to a few local ones that didn't give me this feeling at all, and that's having only been to about 4 different ones.
I will be 37 this year, Sometimes I feel I wish I could have done a lot of things eariler, Silver Stacking is one of them. However listening Harry and you Silver Dragons motivates myself even more to go and get it. I just started my Silver Stacking journey today by buying my first Silver Buffalo 1 oz round. Also when I dug around my room I also found out a I have a 1oz Silver Round of Baby Yoda (Grogu) from The Mandalorian I got as a Christmas Present 2 years ago. If Harry sees this I want to say he is a huge insperation of showing Age means nothing, and it is never to late to start your investments or dreams you ever want to have. As well both of you educated myself on the Silver Stacking journey and I know what I want with it. Protect my wealth and not worry for the Government support. Thanks to the both of you!!! What a great story, thank you for sharing. I got in silver stacking when I was in the hospital diagnosed with cancer. I watch all videos of all silver stackers at the time, but watching Silver Slacker unboxing 100oz US ASSAY OFFICE silver bar got me hooked. His enthusiasm and pure happiness was a breaking point for me.
This man is so humble and genuine and has no idea how many lives he’s changed. I started watching the videos and love the guys and the knowledge and the grace thank you! So I’ve started collecting and stacking silver. And I’m glad I did now that it’s going getting high!

If Harry sees this I want to say he is a huge insperation of showing Age means nothing, and it is never to late to start your investments or dreams you ever want to have. As well both of you educated myself on the Silver Stacking journey and I know what I want with it. Protect my wealth and not worry for the Government support.

What a great story, thank you for sharing. I got in silver stacking when I was in the hospital diagnosed with cancer. I watch all videos of all silver stackers at the time, but watching Silver Slacker unboxing 100oz US ASSAY OFFICE silver bar got me hooked. His enthusiasm and pure happiness was a breaking point for me.
This man is so humble and genuine and has no idea how many lives he’s changed. I started watching the videos and love the guys and the knowledge and the grace thank you!
