2025 Toyota 4Runner Review | New Ingredients, Same Recipe

4Runner purists are crying foul, but I'll say what they don't want to admit: the 2025 4Runner is just fine. While I don't know if the 2.4L turbo will be as bulletproof as Toyota's V6s have proved, I do know that the fuel economy improvements, off-roading capability increases, and more comfortable interiors are worth the trade. The real question you should be asking is: is the price tag worth it? 2025 brings a minor bump to the base price, but a pretty hearty increase to the rest of the lineup, especially if you want the new hybrid. And that makes me wonder: Has Toyota dethroned Jeep in the battle to have the most insane price tags?
