  • Hello and Welcome to Spottedmotors.
In this video we buy a Reliant Robin that's been sat in someone's garden for over a year! its a none runner but with very little effort we get it running and have a crazy drive out in it.
We have tons of plans for it and tons of plans for the channel, so get involved and get Subscribed.
A massive thanks to David McCallan from McCallan Automotive and Bill Inghams Speed shop for the help collecting.
Thanks for watching, we are @Spottedmotors

I drove a MKII robin for years, decent little cars. My only real complaint was it was so noisy, other than that loved mine.

Ok mate relax a little. We know it's a Rialto, we did read the V5. And it's missing the Grille. Are you kidding me.. it's missing more than just that !!!! 😂😂
This is a Factory build one. Was build for moving bars of Gold around 🙃

Reliant did make a Rialto based pickup in 1997 called the Giant but only 8 were made

Ah fantastic. Thanks for this. Will have a Google later.
This one certainly wasn't one of them 8 originals

@@spottedmotors P.s at same time as Reliant Giant pickup was produced a Rialto with a tipper body was produced tho whether it was a one off prototype or any others were produced I don't know. It was seen in the Trouble at the Top documentary filmed at Reliant in 1997

I saw a Yellow Robin pick up like this that went round a corner a bit too fast but didn't roll over.

Nice fun video. Sounds like it's got a pre-engaged starter? A welcome surprise if so.
