Honestly the transition from Doll to Actor to seamless. Like in the part he drags his wife outside only to see that she was also fake. And like for a second you think it’s still the actor then it cuts to the doll’s face…

Because when she first went outside, she was still alive.. He explains it in the end! The husband says he hid the little doll and "she couldn't take it and she cut her wrists". Then he took his son's doll and used it as the one thing she was attached to. In the end you can see two hourglasses! ⏳⌛
