@@velmurugann8294 Yeah, they just go, asking that stupid 'hellooo', without anything to defend themselves. Ghost or a person with bad intentions, going towards them is the wrong way.
I loved the plot! My hypothesis is that the grandma died trying to trap the monster into the puzzle and when the friend finished the puzzle, she released the monster and she died too. Very nice work!
I like that theory but how did the demon rip the page from the journal if it was taped in the puzzle? Also Why not destroy the puzzle or at least the final piece? She could have buried the box containing the puzzle (perhaps with her) rather than leave it in the antic to be found after her death?
@@richardcarr8233 Maybe the puzzle won’t let itself be destroyed. It does contain some creepy monster after all 🤷♀️ Seems like the pieces just keep turning up no matter what they do. Nana took one to the grave & it turned up 😳
I would have stayed in my dead Grandma's house in the first place and why do they always go up in the attic when they hear a noise in the middle of the night and then the chairs rocking by itself nope the f*** out of that situation
@Julie W. : Hmmmm . All very valid points . Being the pragmatist that I am , very truthfully, I'd probably do the same thing . Maybe a family of racoon had moved in or roof rats . Very valid point however , IF I heard the spooky music along with the noises ... I'm out . Ciao !
In theory the puzzle can never really be finished because of the hole drillied into the last piece for the chain 😉 brilliant stuff though would love to see more
Really good! But that girl broke several basic horror rules: never touch a funny old leather book with a string wrapped round it; never mess with a weird padlocked box you find in the attic; never open the front door in the middle of the night; and finally, don’t get the inside bit of your ear pierced, it looks awful.
What i enjoyed most about the story was how, even though she was startled, she realized she was seeing the ghost of her grand mother and managed to control her fear. Based on how one of the missing pieces just appeared with a knock at the door, i can guess why her grand mother did not just destroy the puzzle - she had probably already TRIED, only to have the pieces keep reappearing. The one piece in the book was covered on the surrounding pages with protection wards, likely intended to keep that one piece from turning up if some one else tried to put the puzzle together, and the piece around grand mother's neck.. she took to the grave with her!

Woah! Very good horror! Very different and weird storyline. I enjoyed every frame. And the actress was so beautiful and given a daring character. Really thankful that she was saved. Her grandma knew. So only she felt the scream while she pulled that piece from her... Well done. 👌👌👏👏
I liked it. Interesting premise. Just few thoughts, if I may. 1- NO ONE packs that fast. 2- When a friend says "I brought the booze" and shows up with one stinking bottle of White Zin, you must immediately begin the process of finding actual friends. 3- You have the actual pic the puzzle is based on, and you *don't* notice the grim reaper? Never occurs to you at all???? Lastly, 4- Grandma had so many opportunities for this not to happen. a) Bury the damn thing in 100 different places, drop it in the ocean, or burn it. But nope. Granny had to keep it mysteriously locked in a chest that no one could resist opening, lead her to it by making sounds. Keep the diary warning about the puzzle intact. Lose the ONE damn page that expressely pleaded for this NOT to happen. Then show up all crazy like out of the Further to scare the living hell out of that chick, BRINGING WITH HER the single piece of the puzzle needed to finish it. Good job Grandma. You suck at this game.
Imaginary Winchester I feel like the monster was dropping hint to get her to release it. Bc really if the grandma didn’t want her complete the puzzle I’ve never make noise to make her curious enough to look in the attic. The box had a lock that was unlocked the piece magically appeared on the door step and she would have no reason to rip a page out of her own journal. Grandma showing up with the last piece around her neck was her goof even when she was trying to tell her “don’t ever finish it” If I was the granddaughter I’d put two and two together especially with the creature in the background with a message in a journal that looks like satanic
Good job, great acting, story. Funny we get a character who is actually smart and doesn't finish the puzzle then her dippy friend does it. Only nitpick would be after Nonna screaming Don't never...I would have tucked that piece into the book or put it around my neck not left it next to the puzzle. About ten years ago, my sister in law passed at a young age(37) and every weekend for a month my wife and I would drive four hours to her house and stay the weekend to pack/clean it up. I can tell you it is an eerie feeling sleeping in the house of someone recently departed. This movie made me recall that.
The girl died and it wasn't really her fault.... To be honest... If I saw a puzzle with one piece out, I'd just leave it. I'd be like "Huh, nice pic." Because you can see everything, anyway. The entire time I knew it was a mistake, I knew not to even open the box, it should have been locked back.
1) Well done plot, acting, camera work, mood. 2) I would've put the puzzle away! Or burned it! But I see that keeping the puzzle on the table continued the story for what took place next. 3) At least turn the lights on! I would not have slept in a dark, quiet house. Creepy. With or without evil spirits (spirits I say and not ghosts of the deceased because I don't believe in ghosts of deceased people; they already spent time on earth while in a body...they aren't going to hang around after death).

For real, though, who goes up to the attic when they hear a strange noise? That "raccoon" would've been there til morning! I love these horror shorts!!
Sorry to say, this pretty much follows clichés of horror films. The individual hears sounds coming from the attic, doesn't bother taking a weapon when she does up there, sees a rocking chair rocking and then stops (which would have drove me out of there quickly), disregards it for a reason, stays up in the attic facing towards a wall, disregards investigating the real reason for the noise. Her attention is now focus on a small case that has a puzzle in it. She does downstairs to solve the puzzle while drinking (nice - still has not figured out where attic noises came from; the source of it). She falls asleep, wakes up later, seems to have a smile on her face (why?) while she is solving the puzzle, sees a figure and immediately runs up to check it out. Really? Without taking a bat or something? It could be a real burglar, rapist, or the like. Banging heard on the front door. Could be anyone. Family, friend, so on. But she immediately fears who is behind it. Again, really? She already has an invader in her home. Person on the other side of the door could be someone who could help her. I stopped seeing it after that.
had it figuered as soon as I saw the missing page. then I just waited to see it play out. unfortunately the pay off just was a bit lackluster,,. BUT the music, acting and camera work was top notch tho! & the first time I saw the old lady I about jumped out of my chair! well done

You'd think Grandma would burn the puzzle, or be buried with the piece, or kept the damn page in tact in the journal.
Maybe Grandma was super pissed at being called "Nonna" for 30+ years.
Dead grandma was wearing a piece around her neck. Pretty sure sure was buried with it.

AWESOME!!! Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!
had it figuered as soon as I saw the missing page. then I just waited to see it play out. unfortunately the pay off just was a bit lackluster,,. BUT the music, acting and camera work was top notch tho! & the first time I saw the old lady I about jumped out of my chair! well done
great stuff , def worth watching
