Great MartinCLC style crossing compilation! I made my own two crossing compilations this year. I hope I can travel to more European countries to film trains and crossings there
@ Thank you! I appreciate that you think more people should watch them. Seems like more people enjoy my American crossing compilations than my British or Japanese ones
@ They are still very common around the state but are slowly being phased out. And I didn’t expect to hear Czech crossing alarms on Lithuanian crossing signals.
This is the best level crossing video I have seen! You captured the entire sequence from No lights to Caution lights to Warning lights to Gates coming down to Trains crossing to Gates up and back to No lights. Also the different warning sounds such as bells (both electronic and mechanical) whistles, beeps and a few others. 👏
At 9:50 (and other clips with the same loco) I get the idea that there's an AM-antenna on top. Am I right? I can relate to the great distances covered that an AM radio transceiver is probably more reliable than anything GSM-related.
Not sure about Lithuanian, but in poland if something if construction is outsorced, to increase compatition (but also causes corruption sometimes) the companies building things are selected to build someting from the group in supposly even way, because of that diffrent companies are selected to construct crossings, in poland crossing only need to have 2 lights flashing side by side but there no signal standarisation, because of that signals are diffrent and you can see lights looksing slighly diffrent and likely what you hear is from company that also construct czech crossings because Lithuanian say whatever.
I loved that place and discovered the crossing really by accident in the very heart of Budapest. I also like how old the trains are on that line. They seem so vintage.
Great video! Cool seeing you’ve filmed all across Europe in 2024. I also find it neat to see Lithuania is using AŽD Praha signals now! Where are those located?
This is the new type of crossings introduced in Lithuania. As it is manufactured by AŽD Praha, it looks a bit similar to Czech and Slovakian crossings and also has a Czech bell.
Absolutely stunning!!!! Love your style of compiling ❤... From Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦✌️🤗
Thank you so much!
Happy New Year from the United States of America! Love the sheer variety in crossing designs across Europe!
Thank you! Happy new year for you too!

Yeah, I like how many mechanical bells you caught. I didn't expect to see so much of them in NJ
@ They are still very common around the state but are slowly being phased out. And I didn’t expect to hear Czech crossing alarms on Lithuanian crossing signals.
Yeah. These signals are brand new and a new addition to all Lithuanian crossings.

Why Lithuania railway crossing sound like azd 97?
Because the bell is of the AŽD type
Great video! Cool seeing you’ve filmed all across Europe in 2024. I also find it neat to see Lithuania is using AŽD Praha signals now! Where are those located?
They are brand new and are in Kazlų Rūda and the villages east of the town en route to Mauručiai. 4 crossings in total were renovated.
