When I was a kid they always said that "gospel" means "good news" and they WERE the gospel. In every angle possible they conflated themselves with Jesus.

Most people who get tied up in cults are intelligent. They are usually looking for something different or more than what existing Christianity gives. It's not a lack of intelligence that makes people go and find something else. It's quite the opposite. I can speak from my own experience. There is plenty of true belief and believers out here. Sadly, because of their true hearts, they get scooped up by false beliefs.

Hang ups ? It’s more like breaking down and deconstructing the 2x2 beliefs and traditions. In doing this it shows that it is not the “truth” or the “only way”. The truth is something far different than what is peached or taught within the 2x2 way
They came out of a religion that is, in places, wall to wall hang ups: so they ar actually doing pretty good. They still share the doctrine of original sin, but practically everybody believes in original sin.

But I also believe in subjective truth not necessarily as separate; opposite or mutually exclusive but as two sides of the same rope... But I am a bit of the Solipsis believing that only One's own mind can be assuredly known... In terms of object permanance I don't believe there is any object permanance without 'Parity' like it is not possible to step into the same river twice... Also I believe what we have in life presented to us is infinite potential rather than a rigid fact or fixed set of facts... WHAT IS AN EX TWO BY TWO DOING THINKING LIKE A BUDDHIST?????🤗
