After Gorakhpur, Vande Bharat Express will now be operated between Lucknow and Dehradun. Preparations have started in this regard. It will be operated till January. Feasibility survey has also been done in this regard. Its report has also been prepared. Even the timetable has been made. This train will stop at Bareilly and Moradabad between Lucknow and Dehradun.
According to information received from sources, this train will leave from Lucknow at around 5:15 in the morning. The train will stop at Bareilly for two minutes at 8:33, Moradabad at 9:52 for five minutes and Haridwar at 12:25 for 10 minutes. After this, it will stop at Harrawala station at 1:35 pm. After that, it will leave from there at 2:25 pm and reach Haridwar at 3:25 pm, Moradabad at 5:40 pm, Bareilly at 6:50 pm. After this it will reach Lucknow at 10:40 pm.
Will cover the distance in 8 hours 15 minutes
The train from Lucknow will cover a distance of about 536 kilometers in 8 hours 15 minutes. But preparations are also underway to ensure that it takes less time to cover this distance. If Vande Bharat Express runs, the operation of Rapti Ganga Express will also be affected. This train will be late by about 15-20 minutes. Apart from this, the route of 12557-12558 Saptkranti Express will also have to be changed. The Railway Board is also discussing this matter with the officials.
Preparation to run train from Lucknow here also
Preparations are also underway to run the train between Lucknow to Saharanpur, Anand Vihar-Haridwar, Lucknow-Anand Vihar and Kathgodam-Anand Vihar. In the coming days, UP may get the gift of many Vande Bharat Express trains.
Vande Bharat Express is designed to be capable of running at a maximum speed of 160 kmph that can touched in only 140 seconds for commercial purpose and it exceeded 180kmph during testing,but the tracks on which the train operates are not capable of supporting such high speeds, hence the train is operated at a maximum speed of 130 km/h (81 mph) In this context, it can be said that the Gatimaan Express, the fastest train of India as per maximum permissible speed operates at 160 km/h (99 mph) and Habibganj-New Delhi Shatabdi Express, the second fastest train of India as per maximum permissible speed has maximum permissible speed of 150 kmph.
In January 2021, Indian Railways awarded the contract for supply of propulsion and control equipment of 44 rakes to Medha Servo Drives, based at Hyderabad. In 2022 Union Budget, the government announced to manufacture 400 more Vande Bharat Express during the next three years.
